I stopped by the office to place a request for a Maintenance issue I was having in my apartment, The Office staff asked me how they could they assist and proceeded to make a workorder request. At the same time one of the maintenance staff overheard my request and quickly stated that he was heading to that area and would take care of the issue ASAP! Now That Is Service!

So far, the living experience has been so wonderful for my boys and I. Our home is extremely nice and spacious! It’s fairly quiet as well. The staff are all so kind and helpful. Only concern I have is the trash on the second floor in my building. It always smells like a dead animal. And it gets a little embarrassing to have others come visit us at our new place.

The community is a good area there’s a lot close by restaurants,gas stations,etc it’s near the i10 highway.. Elementary school is near by literally behind the apartment complex… Good place to live!!

What I love about Preston peak is that it’s not like other cookie cutter apartments. It has its own unique character, they also have a walking trail, volleyball court, tennis court, and two pools. This is a really old property but it’s upkeep for how long it’s been around and not many properties can do that.

The staff refuses to enforce trash policies which lead to trash, food scraps, and general waste all over the property, especially in the cooridoors leading to individual apartments. Staff insits they will conduct projects to clean/maintain/improve the property, but most of the time these actions never come to fruition. Towing is a massive inconvienince for NO reason. Staff insists there is a parking problem, but there is plenty of parking for residents and visiors across the property. This fake issue costs residents and their guests hundreds of dollars in towing fees. The recycle and trash receptacles are a joke, usually overflowing with trash, glass debris, etc.

Hello - it's truly upsetting to hear that you are not happy with the service we strive to provide. We do partner with Trash Butler to provide door to door trash pick up in an effort to make it easier for residents to have their trash removed. Some residents do not adhere to the policies that are put into place, but our team does pick up trash throughout the property every day. Towing is enforced on the property as every resident deserves the right to come home to their designated covered parking spot and park. . Every resident is informed of the policy at move in and it is up to the resident to inform their guests of the policies and offer their guest pass to them. Our team truly cares about each and every resident here and we truly work very hard every day to keep this property free of trash. This apartment complex has nice amenities throughout the property. The maintenance staff are helpful and courteous. Repairs are made on a timely basis. Each resident is allowed only one parking space. This makes it difficult for visitors to find parking on this property. Overall, this is a nice place to reside. The leasing team are so kind and helpful! Moving in was such an easy process and we love our new apartment! When you move in it’s not the cleanest but for the price and renovated units I think it’s worth it! Just have to do some deep cleaning.

Unfortunately, apartment living puts neighbors next to and right on top of each other, which makes noise, such as running and jumping an issue. Our team does strive to assist with issues such as this, but we have to let residents live in and enjoy their homes as well, which means doing activities such as this. I love my apartment and staff is great but no handicap parking for my building STILL and guest parking is rare and difficult for all my guests always

My wife and I are about to move in here , I do service and I have my personal car , my wife and a service vehicle , I would have to check in my service vehicle in everyday due to they won’t accommodate a commercial vehicle I drive for work. I’m really not happy about that. Plus we have to resign multiple leases due to not going through , and adding a pet addendum… we also went on vacation and came back and instead of instructing us what we forgot/needed to complete everything she started to act a bit of an chip on her shoulder I quote “I did everything I’m able to do” Kinda feel indifferent about there policy , and some of the staff

Hi - I'm disappointed to hear you had a negative experience at our community. Our community policy is that every lease holder has a parking spot, but we cannot accommodate additional vehicles beyond this. If we offered this for one resident, we would have to offer this to all residents and there would not be any parking available. We do offer the guest passes that you can utilize and we do disclose this at the time that you lease. On the lease paperwork if there are any changes, we do have to re run the lease to make sure that it reflects the correct information. We do apologize that this was an inconvenience, but these are legal and binding documents that have to be correct for both parties. When I 1st moved in, the parking was not in effect, therefore I probably would have taken this into serious consideration! Your towing of our guest vehicles are not necessary, it’s not kind, putting our guest in a terrible situation, inconvenience and most importantly, FINANCIALLY! a burden. And the system doesn’t always work! NO CITY LAW IS BEING BROKEN! Our guest are merely visiting!!! and are parking in non-assigned spaces ??also, remember, there are MANY apartments to consider when finding a place to reside.

Don’t rent here if you want to move into a dirty unit then have to argue with management about cleanliness. We had 10 work orders put in the day of move in. HORRIBLE.

Overall a decent community to live in. Great floor plans. Complex could offer updates to units if residents would like. Front office needs to hire more people to answer the phones.

Great location, good size apartments, but be sure you 100% know what is in your unit prior to signing the lease. Management will try to pull one over on you in regards to whether you get a washer/dryer in the unit or just have the hookups for it but no actual washer/dryer.

This property is very dated, dirty, and not well maintained. They do not take pride in the cleanliness of the landscape or enforce that residents be clean and respectful to their surroundings as well as to their patio, and breezeway areas. It’s rather embarrassing and I would not recommend anyone living here.

The front office does not answer the phone, the water is turned off at least once a month, the parking situation is ridiculous, the hot tub will be broken throughout months, last minute social events every now & then don’t give time to plan.

Preston Peak is a wonderful community since gray star has taken over. There has been any many changes made. I love my new apartment the communication with the office and MAINTENANCE is superb!!!

Roaches are a constant problem at these apartments. There’s not enough parking, and when you’re forced to park along the fence a neighbors cars was vandalized and broken into.

Overall I really like the new management at Preston peak the problems I have are just maintenance issues in my apartment not resolved correctly by the old maintenance team so that’s the only thing that sucks. The new maintenance team has to come correct what the old maintenance messed up prior & that’s the only issue. I really love living here since the new management came in though.

Could be a nice complex but falls oh so short! Pools are either closed or unsafe to swim (petri dishes); 9 out of 10 packages do not get delivered to package office, but you still have to pay $15 a month, even if the package lockers are closed during construction. Workout equipment that runs off of power shocks you any time you touch any metal bits while it is in use (likely an electrical short in the room). And on that note, 2 outlets in my apartment shorted out my laptop, tv, and bran new vacuum when I moved in. Maintenance instructed me to buy some surge protector extension cords to mitigate the issue…god forbid the faulty electrical starts a fire anywhere because the fireman would over all of the extensions cords I have to use for my appliances. Preston Peak is vastly over priced for what it currently is.
