Preston Pointe at Windermere

I’ve been going to the office so management can fix my sink with mold and also in the windows she told me she’s not going to replace the sink and treated me if I don’t leave she’s going to call the cops for me this apartment complex is the worse many tenants complain about cockroaches and I have a lot in my apartment and you can’t sleep because of noise I wonder so many people is leaving this complex. I ask them for corporate number they did not give it to me. I don’t feel safe in this apartment, I want to move out they said they gonna charge me and it’s gonna affect me renting other apartment. I’m leaving in a nightmare. Anybody know corporate number

My apartment has been infested with German cockroaches for the past three months from another unit. No consideration or compassion from the hazardous living conditions due to the infestation that my cat and I have endured. Wake up to the cat bowl being infested with cockroaches crawling around everywhere in her bowl. Having to clean her bowls day she night. The infestation is everywhere in my apartment! That’s why I’m moving! I’d highly suggest think twice before moving here.

Living here just for a month at this point, but having been awesome. All neighborhoods are cool and love to talk with my son. Sometimes is hard to find a good place to parents take care of their sons without a problem and here definitely is a good place!

I really enjoy living at Preston Pointe. The office staff is nice, and always have fun events. The maintenance staff work hard to complete repair requests. The amenities are great and the neighborhood is friendly. It would be nice if they would label the apartment numbers lower on the buildings, and put ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. But overall I would definitely recommend Preston Pointe as a wonderful place to live.

Everything is mostly great! Very importantly, it is very quiet from my experience. However, there have been a lot of inspections and the AC cannot keep up that well when it is hot outside.

Location is good and specious units. Apartment amenities are also very good. But maintenance is ok ok. A lot of cockroaches are in the apartment

Good and safe neighborhood. Only issue is trash. It is not picked up some days and the squirrels make a mess of the trash left outside for pick up.

Love these apartments! The pool is amazing (when it's open) and the community is fabulous. The valet trash is a big plus and the maintenance staff take great care in the appearance of our homes.

Office personnel is not helpful. The pool is always closed. Trash out front all of the time is embarrassing. The printer in the media room has not worked for 3 or more years.

People have mattresses on their balconies. The pool is not clean on a regular basis. The chairs around the pool are covered in mold. The grills are so dirty they cause grease fires. There are people smoking in their apartments and out on their balconies that cause my apartment to smell like cigarettes. As well as when you renew your lease you pay more than a new renter. I have yet to experience luxury living.

Absolutely beautiful property! Staff is amazing and we love the resident events! Close proximity to everything we need and one of the best school districts!

Never had any problems, maintenance is always super speedy and helpful. The neighbors I’ve met are all super sweet. And the management staff is great too, always prompt.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, staff is not friendly. Prices are to high for old amenities.

I love living at Preston Pointe. The office staff is friendly and the maintenance crew is great. I really enjoy the amenities and the amount of storage in my apartment. It’s a great place to call home.

Great quiet and clean community with spacious floor plans. Conveniently located near many parks and nature trails.

I found a place to call Home, quiet, safe, beautiful and really low stress living here for over 7 years. I will move to my own house when leave my home here.

Love the forest the most. I have a balcony and can see so many animals. A family of deer come to visit. It's peaceful and safe. Like living in a condo.

So far, I love the peacefulness of the community! You are able to feel tucked away in nature while still being close to the city and can quickly access local amenities.

Apartment size is great. Mine is not updated, but overall it meets my needs.

I’ve been a resident of Preston Pointe for years. I have not experienced any problems from the maintenance staff nor the front staff. As for the property, I feel safe, they keep the area clean. If there any issues they address it as quickly as they can.

Preston Pointe Apartments is a place we can call HOME, space, comfort, good care apartments and amazing swimming pool makes us to say we are happy to live here.

I came as a resent unexpected widow. The office people were so kind and helpful plus understanding of my situation of moving from another state. I love my appartment. It is easy to take care of. The view from my balcony is calming and the wildlife keep me entertained. I could not have asked for a better habd up than I found at Preston Pointe Apartments. They will be blessed as they blessed me. Thank you!

The staff is very good and maintenance does a good job. Unfortunately the building does not have much for sound barrier’s especially with inconsiderate neighbors.

I've been here for seven years, the units are big. I truly love the location and the view from my unit, is relaxing and beautiful.

Overall this apartment community is well-maintained, safe and quiet. My floor plan is spacious and have plenty of storage space. The office staff and maintenance team are always courteous and professional. A great location near plenty of shopping centers, parks and restaurants.

It is a real nice place. Employees are professional yet very helpful.

I enjoy living at Preston Pointe because it’s a quiet and lovely complex. I enjoy spending time on my patio during the spring and fall months because it’s peaceful and scenery is beautiful. The location is awesome because of being so close to so many different areas.

In short - don’t live here. I wrote out an even longer, more in depth explanation of each individual situation written below, but it simply seemed too long for a review. Here’s the important bits. - Was emailed multiple documents of my “move-in costs” which all had different total amounts. Read everything! - Very negative staff attitude, always. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. - A lot of closing the pool with zero notice. At one point this was happening weekly for cleaning, but again - zero notice which consistently affected my plans over the summer. - Other tenants’ garage remote opened our garage for months, with consistent work requests before it was fixed. No compensation on garage fees even though our belongings were not secured multiple times for full days while we were at work. - Trash pick up at the door was very inconsistent. Compactor was inoperable frequently. An extra dumpster was added when it was out of service. Trash would pile high on both areas, and overflow into the street (pictured). - My move-out statement was incorrect and was only fixed because I brought it up. They made it insanely difficult to read/follow, not sure who else’s has been incorrect but they never asked cause it wasn’t very clear to begin with. If it doesn’t make sense - always question it! - Rent increase for renewal was over $345 per month AND it was not the cost quoted for a brand new tenant moving in at that same time. A new tenant was quoted close to what we paid for our first year. Even if the monthly rent was lowered, we would never have renewed our lease there. It’s that unpleasant. - Office staff talks down to anyone asking questions, no matter how nicely you ask. It’s a big mix up of unprofessionalism, administrative mistakes, and their lack of knowledge that made this the worst apartment I have ever rented from. We are so relieved to be completely done with Preston Pointe Apartments.

Don’t stay here. I regret moving in now. NO ONE answers the phone ever. I’ve never met a community who can’t bother to answer the phone then this company. I’ve had issues with my neighbors upstairs blaring their music, their child screaming at the top of the their lungs, and them banging crap upstairs. Don’t believe in the courtesy officer here. There is no courtesy officer. You call and no one calls or texts you back. It’s a joke. Three days in a row I’ve called left messages for the officer and the office. Not a single response. The management here is a joke. It took over a month when I moved in just to get two work orders done. If I can offer you one piece of advice it’s run. Run far away l. It’s cheap for a reason. Because it’s CHEAP. Like cheap as in broken system and broken property. RUN.

I received a call from this complex today and the lady reception was bad, call got disconnected and she never called back or sent an email! That’s says all I need to know about how they conduct business. The negative reviews seem to be spot on! Another poorly managed apartment community in metro Atlanta this is surreal!

I have lived here almost 2 years. This is the second unit I have lived in at this complex. Unfortunately there is nothing the apartment can do about a dog that barks constantly in the apartment above us. I do understand it is an apartment and noise is something that has to be considered when I choose to live in an apartment, but if I were to be playing loud music the apartment would send warning and eventually evict me if I did not comply

Moved here 2 months now. Base on my experience so far mixed feeling... Location is good .. Apartments are old and dated when not renovated .. too many bugs everywhere ... but we have been ok ... Worst experience I had when my cooking stove/oven broke and maintenance staff would not entertain to fix that even after 10 days.... First is hard to get maintenance on phone any after many trials eventually you reach to them just to hear arrogant words and excuses from maintenance staff. Will never recommend to anyone.... They are nice when you are prospect for them but once you moved they show no respect and care for you....

I have lived in apartments for at least 15 years and have never had such a horrible disrespectful disgusting experience. The staff promise you one thing and then say another and then treat you like you’re stupid like they didn’t say it anything in the first place. The apartments are trashed. If you put in a work order don’t think it’s going to be done. If it does get done they come in whenever they want. Unannounced. If you’re in the shower there’s no second bolt to keep them out.... They show you this beautiful apartment complex and then you move in and suddenly your eyes are opened and it’s trash just like the staff and the maintenance crew. Have a problem with the staff and want the problem resolved. Don’t bother calling corporate, they don’t call you back and they do not care. First community has not only ruined this complex but it’s abandoned this complex. I regret my decision and I am now stuck here for now. Don’t get trapped or tricked it’s all lies.

Moved in about a year ago. Loved the place. It was beautiful. New management took over a month or two back and now they are cutting down a lot of beautiful trees around the place. The front of the complex is turning into a barren treeless wasteland.

I’ve lived here just a little over a year and have had no problems. I haven’t experienced the issues some of the others said they have had. The office staff is helpful and friendly. Garrett has also been helpful and kind. Maintenance has been quick to fix any issues I have had. The stairways are nicely lit and I feel safe. There ARE speed bumps but you must go slow over them. My apartment is great. It’s spacious and has plenty of storage. It was clean and painted when I moved in. The complex has events to get the residents together for both the families and for the adults. I highly recommend this property.

Other than being "centrally located" and off the beaten path this is by far a good location if you are looking for that however I have to say that I'm not impressed with how the grounds look, the lack of communication between the office and the residents, and at one point there was a drug issue going on here and if you tell them you have an "issue" they tell you they will handle it but they never do. I've witnessed The Manager "Garrett" and his behavior has got to be the worst Manager to ever walk or work in an "apartment" complex to date. He will talk to you like he owns the floor, never lets anyone get a word in edge wise, if you are not the "sole" holder on the lease he won't really pay you any mind, he will speak over you maybe because he feels the need to hear himself talk or because he doesn't like women, and he claims to know it all. Who knows with him and his attitude. He needs it adjusted. They don't do their job here at all. Shop around! Do NOT come here unless you are absolutely 100% sure that nothing else fits your lifestyle and you have to live here. I heard through a friend who happens to live on the property and he's lived there for over 7 years because it's convenient for him more or less he said that a couple of apartments last night had there doors "breached". I wonder how he treated the tenants when that happened?! Makes you wonder ... Be wary Go elsewhere ...

Stay away from this apartment. The carpet was full of hair when we moved in. They don't care about their residents. Worst apartment ever.

The apartments are ok. The model they show you is gorgeous. The layouts are good sized. However, the apartment I got the day I moved in had dirty carpet with stains in it. The kitchen reeked of curry, took months to get rid of the smell. The upstairs aparment leaked water so bad it was dripping in my shower. The microwave did not work, the power to the stove was cut off, not all the burners worked. The guest toliet was leaking and the bathroom was full of ants. This all happened when I first moved in. Then my monthly bills started to arrive. I repeatedly was being charged OVER a $100 for WATER. They told me I would pay a fixed rate after that. IT WAS A LIE. The property manager flat out lied to me. Absolutely the worst apartment I have lived in. Also it is a very noisy complex, with lots of apartments having multiple families living in one apartment. And despite the speedbumps, there is alot of Mario Andretti's living in the complex. The parking lot is flat out dangerous.
