Property Ratings at Priest Lake
Constant leaks, terrible ticket system and unresponsive management. Water is currently pouring out of my wall and cant keep up with buckets. Tomorrow will be 11 days since severe leak started. 4 days since the plumber cut a hole in the wall. We still have no idea when it will be fixed.
We have lived just over a year. Since then with the new Management in the office we have seen more done in two months than the whole year we have been here. I just bring things to the managements attention or ask make a suggestion. The next thing I know I get a response letting me know if it can be done. The last management never responded. The management is awesome and cares about their there residents. Also mainstance is friendly and does a good job. Thank you for your hard work.

I have lived in homes most of my life and rented a few apartments at the same time and not one apartment has been better than this one. So, I would and have recommended this complex.
I am a current resident since 2013 to present. I am so disappointed with the complex. I was excited about moving here as they have 2 pools, a tennis court, a volley ball court, a gym on site, and a dog park and it is within walking distance to a lake. These are all major selling points, BUT in the 3 years we have lived here, there has NEVER been a net on the tennis courts. The pools have never opened when they say they will and close early due to maitenance problems with the pumps. The gym has had broken equipment from day 1. I now pay $20 a month to go to Planet fitness because at least I know I will have working equipment. The trail down yo the lake is always litered with trash, broken tv's, old mattresses and even a black bra is hung from a tree! When we asked if they could show us the trail and walk down to the lake when we moved in, we were given an excuse about her wearing high heels and she didnt recommend it today. I know why now! Our rent has increased steadily with each renewal, but this time it went up by $106 a month!!!! These are tiny apartments!!!! Our 1 bedroom 1 bath with a "den" is 900 sq ft. We pay $877 a month!!! Although this is very comparible with the rising costs of Nashville apartments I find it extremely outrageously over priced for the quality of our living conditions. Our "den" is used as a home office/ workout room, pantry (because the kitchen has only 2 useful cabinets to hold all the dishes and food storage), and storage room. As I just stated, the kitchen is a joke! The drawers do not open without fighting them, there is no storage, and shelving cannot be put up. We have tried and there are no studs behind the washer dryer area, it seems to all be metal pipes and ventilation. There are no overhead lights in the rooms, which makes these apartments very dark. There are light switches that go to nothing. And the outlets are horrible! Standard plugs continuously fall out while you are vacuuming. It's like the outlets are too big for plugs. I have never had our ac filter changed and we were told they would be doing that on a regular basis. I
I moved in 2 weeks ago and I can say that I am happy. The move in was really easy and I like all the online stuff. The last place I lived had a really rude staff so I can say I am much happier now with this staff. Nice ladies in the office and maintenance came out the other day to fix the small issues I had when I moved in. I have not lived here long but so far no complaints.

The management is very professional and friendly. They keep the grounds nice and picked up.
Since March of 2015 I have lived in Mission Priest Lake. As of now it's only been four months and I completely regret the decision. Upon moving in there were a few things that right of the bat that very much upset me. One they pushed my move in date back a few days to continue repairs from the previous renter. When I entered the apartment for the first time you could tell it had been worked on but it was a sloppy mess. Anywhere from paint splatter on the wood floor and the carpet. Large cracks in the walls and a spot on the ceiling that was clearly water damage not to mention a musty smell In the place . After a few days my only toilet broke I still don't know why . This is also one of those apartments that has light switches with out lights actual installed. In the model that I was showed all the rooms had light fixtures so I didn't assume that would be an issue. So after seven o'clock for the first month I was pretty much lights out. Also here at mission preist lake they have screened in patios since we are so close to the lake , they are cheaply put up and don't keep the bugs out. Wasps are a big problem they still manage to get through the screen and then are trapped in your patio. Another big issue for me living on my own the only security measure they have is one deadbolt per apartment being a ungated complex this very much shocked me. The roads and speed bumps are ridiculous the speed bumps are huge and there are a lot of potholes and asfault breaking apart. Ultimately the deal breaker for me was the issues with paying rent. There is not a rent drop box I have never lived somewhere without this utensil. The issue with that if the 5th of the month lands on a Sunday you can not turn in your rent. They say to use online but the processing fee for paying with a debt or credit card is anywhere between 28-33 extra dollars depending on the brand like visa or MasterCard. Also if you do end up paying your rent late you get a notice and are given until the next day at noon along with 92 dollar charge to pay it or you get turned in for eviction. That is absolutely wrong what if you fall on hard times ,other complexes I've lived at will give you a fee but give you about a week or so extra to get caught up. This is such a high risk in my option it makes me very stressed ,especially being on my own. Honestly I would move if I could afford it right now. So save yourself some trobule and take this one of your list.
