Property Ratings at Prime Place Stillwater - Student Apartments
This apartment has been nasty and they do not clean whatsoever. They do not check the parking garage for non residents and they charge you any way possible.
Been living here over a year now. Overall pretty great downfall is gates are always broken and take forever to get fixed especially if you’re paying $30 to park here
It’s not bad for college apartments, probably on the better end to be honest. But sometimes maintenance and management either don’t communicate or leave you out to dry. It hasn’t been entirely bad, but if you want something done be on it. Help your self more than relying on them to help. But if you’re looking for affordable for college this isn’t a bad option.
Lots of stuff was broken upon moving in and microwave still isn’t fixed. Our air conditioner also can’t keep up when it’s hot outside. Rooms are nice and big though.
Prime Place is a great apartment community! The office staff is accommodating, the residents are quiet and mindful of other residents’ spaces, and having the luxury of a parking garage is convenient due to limited parking at OSU. The gym and pool offered to residents at Prime Place serve as an avenue to convenience and recreation after a long day of studying, and are the perfect way to decompress. The maintenance staff at Prime Place is also apt to help any resident needing assistance. I put in a maintenance request on August 1st, and it was fixed within two weeks, so the urgency in which the maintenance staff operates is tremendously helpful! Thank you to all staff, administration, and residents at Prime Place who make the complex a convenient, joyful, and perfect place to live while attending OSU!
Maintenance takes forever to show up, and doesn't even fix the things that needs fixed. My room was in horrible condition when I got here, and there were several more fees than I was expecting.
Great building and is close to campus. Only thing is it is not secure and not safe. There are no cameras in the parking garage, stairwells, or outside the building. Anyone can also enter the parking garage or the building from outside the building.
This is a good apartment community. Quiet hours are respected, and maintenance responds quickly to requests. They also usually have a few events every month where I have the chance to interact with other residents.
Good place to live! Handy with how close it is to campus and the parking garage is a great perk! The three bedroom loft is a little smaller than we expected, but it has worked out just fine!
Great! I love the pool and outdoor amenities. I wish they would fix more of the lights around in the court yards.. Orhee than the low lighting outside, it is enjoying and especially in the fall when school is starting. I can walk to school in a matter of minutes and be back in time when I need to be. It is very convenient.
Every time I call the office they answer & do their best to help solve my problem right then. The office staff is very nice & happy. The text service is awesome.
Prime Place, so far, has been an amazing place to live. The staff is always lovely. Maintenance is quick to take care of any issues. And out of all the amenities, my favorite would be the gym. It's pretty clean and has an excellent selection of gym equipment
Prime place is a great option in Stillwater. My only complaint is about the gym. There are multiple broken machines in the gym and they haven been fixed.
Good place to live. Always had a spot in the garage to park my car and never had any issues getting into or out of the garage. Getting mail and packages is easy and straightforward. Noise levels were low for the most part, aside from noisy neighbors above. Fire pits are great during the summer to hangout.
This had been my first year here at Prime Place and so far I do enjoy it. I’ve had a couple downs living here but that comes with living anywhere honestly. If you want a close living space near campus especially during summer and winter Prime Place is for you
Great location, but management is iffy. The elevator was broken for half a year which is extremely inconvenient for people living on any floor other than 1. Also the parking garage entrance arm is always broke but we still have to pay for the garage.
Great apartment and community! Not great security around the building, but other than that the building is great. Maintenance always come quick if you send in a request and is friendly!
Prime Place is in a good location, nearby the OSU campus, but more affordable than other nearby options. The staff tend to respond quickly to communication, and maintenance requests tend to be filled quickly. There are also usually a few fun community events every month that are nice to attend.
This apartment is great other than the parking gates and security around apartment. I wish the doors were more secure to packages due to mine getting stolen.
Prime Place is a decent apartment complex. The hallways are pretty clean, and the rooms are good. Maintenance was always quick to come when we had a problem. It really isn’t anything special, but it is super close to campus which is great.
The staff is great. The building and amenities are always clean and easy to access and use. I would definitely recommend prime place to all of my friends and family
In my 2 years of living here, I've overall been satisfied. The fast walk to campus is nice and it's been a comfortable place to live. Only minor complaints would be how crammed the parking garage can get and how easily noise can be heard from the neighbors. No elevators anywhere in the 213 building also isn't great. I will say, the staff is one of the best parts, they've helped me greatly with everything I needed and the maintenance is fast and effective.
the staff are great!! always so sweet!! but the actual apartments expect them to come with summertime roaches and cracks in the walls. took almost 3 months to get rid of the roaches
I’ve been here almost a full lease term and I don’t have any real complaints. Other than your usual apartment hiccups and noisy neighbors, it’s a good apartment and I’ve renewed for another term. There isn’t great air circulation within the units though.
Overall a nice place to live and in close proximity to campus. The staff are all very kind and genuinely try their best to help you. The apartment itself is very nice and has a great color palette. The granite countertops are amazing! Only negative review is I wish there was a tad more security. Just something so random people can’t walk the halls.
Love this place. Semester has been great and wifi works well. I would live here again but want to have a house with my friends. A great apartment.
I have lived here almost 4 years and it has been extremely convenient as well as a good experience! I would suggest looking into it! It’s a great place to live!
If you want a glimpse into what it would be like to live in the slums, be sure to rent at Prime Place! Where you are expected to live with no running water or electricity unless you want to pay several hundred dollars in monthly utilities. Prepare to find creative new ways to escape your apartment on the daily so you aren’t depressed. Try and enjoy your stay at Prime Place.
Place is overall pretty nice. Just management could be a bit better about their maintenance and doing follow up emails. I’ve emailed or called about certain topics and go days or I just got no response back
Prime place is amazing! I love the staff and all the great things that come with your lease. I would recommend this to anyone who goes to OSU!
Love prime place so much. The atmosphere is fantastic here. The staff is wonderful and neighbors are so sweet. Definitely recommend living here to everyone.
Great apartment and is close to campus so it’s convenient! My only complaint with the building is it’s not very safe or secure, people can walk in from the outside of the building anytime. Other than that it’s a great apartment!
i like living here, its nice to have readily available maintenance. Walls are too thin so if your upstairs neighbors are pregaming it sucks. Otherwise nice place
it has been fun we only have a few complaints about our downstairs neighbors they keep filing faules noise complaints but other than that we have very few complaints
Great floor plans and perfect location on campus. Clean and people. Lived here senior year and it’s the best! Right behind the Stillwater Strip.
I have lived here for three years now. I have enjoyed it. The maintenance staff is super nice and helpful. They are always in top of everything.
I’ve got nothing to complain about. The rates are pretty good and I am close to campus. I am in one of the loft apartments and it’s not bad if you have good roommates.
Really informative and loved our tour guide Gabriella! The apartments were nice and I really liked seeing the pool, gym, and the sandpit! Can’t wait to live here!
The apartment is nice and furnished, the walk to and from campus is nice, I enjoy the weight room that comes with the complex, a great place for a college student to live at.
I was between 3-4 stars but ultimately went with three. There have been few minor things that’s don’t work or have to be fixed in the apartment which is no big deal. There are also charges when you go over utility usage but they never tell you what the charge is so you never know how to truly fix the problem and this is a big inconvenience. The apartments also get really hot even when the heat isn’t on, like setting temps to 67 and then the apartment still gets to like 73 which is again very annoying because either we have to be hot or use the AC which runs up the utility bill. But it’s a good place for college since it’s close by to campus and it’s nice enough to live in for the three or so years you’re in town.
Nice place to live as a student! Good amenities and is very affordable. Apartments are nice and I have had minimal issues, just normal things to deal with. Staff is super nice and will answer any questions you have! Also very close to campus, just a short walk! Have enjoyed living here!
I have lived here for about 3 years now and it has been affordable and convenient for me! I enjoy it here. Anytime there is a problem with my unit it is taken care of by maintenance in a timely manner.
Love living here very close to campus so that is very convenient, was a bit dirty when we moved in which wasn’t my favorite thing especially because there’s a $200 fee per person in the unit that is supposed to take care of professional cleaning but other that that it’s a great complex that hosts lots of little things to bring the community together.
It’s a neat place good activities, we’ve had a good experience and if we have troubles the office is pretty quick to respond to your problems and they are super nice
Living here has been a breeze this past semester! Very close to campus and a few spots to eat, as well as the maintenance crew always being on top of their game.
These apartments are fantastic. Definitely my go to student apartment complex in Stillwater. The staff is so nice, my neighbors are not only compliant but they’ve become my new friends, and the apartments themselves are beautiful. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for off campus housing.
Great building and units! Have fun events at the office and contests with good prizes! The building isn’t very secured, anyone can walk in and there are no cameras in the parking garage, stairwell, and outside the building.
Personally, I have had no major issues or complaints, just mostly minor things that were resolved. Most importantly I lived at the Prime Place Hester location, not the Elm location. When I moved in I noticed that compared to other apartments I was in, it was EXTREMELY clean. I didn't have to vacuum, mop, or clean anything, and that includes the toilet! The biggest issues were with my kitchen sink and the cabinet underneath it. The wood was really smashed in (not like I use that space anyways, so I don't care personally) and the handle was really loose with the part that's flush with the counter being very corroded. Nothing impacted the main functions of the sink so it was not a problem. About two months later I needed the sink to be replaced because it was leaking alot and it was replaced the day after I requested maintenance. After that, I have had no major issues.
Really enjoy this place, had some minor issues when I moved in, but other than that, it’s great. Issues are usually fixed within a few business days.
I like the proximity to campus. I don’t like that the garage entry was open to anyone until this month. There were many times I couldn’t find parking because people who didn’t live here would use our garage.
