Really like the Greenwood Village location of these. The complex is a bit dated with its tile hallways. On the plus side they are quite wide so moving in & out is easy. My unit wasn't renovated with the PVF (polyvinyl flooring) but I couldn't wait for a unit to become available. So had to settle for the existing old carpet & old appliances, including HVAC. I got the larger square footage 1bed/1bath model. There was a problem with garage security and attempted theft of cars last year, some damaged. But it did get addressed & gates are secure with security. Has a secure package/mail room. Rent is expensive. But overall it's a comfortable place with usual inconveniences that come with apartment living. Was recently sold to new corporation and had some bumps in the transition but seems to be smoother now. Walkable to nice restaurants & shops.
My apartment is great and in a great location. I recommend Promenade Place if you need an apartment.
My experience has been unlike any other, this is a terrible property and I would stay away from here for so many reasons. Management is horrible and rude. My experience with the management has been unreal, I don't really live in my apartment because it is inhabitable. During the first 3 months of living here, I had no hot water, the dishwasher didn't work, leaks and mold appeared and nothing was done. I had over 7 maintenance orders fulfilled for hot water issues they would tell me the same thing with no results. I am a very easygoing resident so I could live without the dishwasher but hot water I used my apartment as storage for my furniture because of these issues and every time maintenance would come out they would tell me the same thing that a plumber come out and look at the issues and every time it was new maintenance staff members that had no idea about the previous request. I then addressed these issues with the property manager after my apartment had a leak in the unit and he said he would address everything right away, mold then started to appear on my ceilings and the wall where my HVAC system is and after a week, I started to get concerned and wanted these issues addressed immediately. He then said mold isn't an issue we breathe it in every day and the mold was never addressed which they are required to check 7 to 10 days after it has been reported. They then patched up the walls and painted over the mold. I have to clean all the mold myself it is completely unacceptable because it continues to appear on my wall. At this point, I have given up on the management team I went in to address something with the assistant property manager and she wouldn't even hear what I had to say, she just disregarded me and wanted nothing to do with me. I work in property management and have never heard of or dealt with something as horrendous/rude as this.
Over the past six months 10, yes 10 cars have been stolen from the gated parking garage… I know the number as I got it directly from the police, I was luckily not not one of the 10 however, my car was one of the countless to have it’s catalytic converter stolen. If you are someone who orders things online, be wary. Countless packages have gone missing from both door fronts as well as the mail room. And just as with the parking garage, management is too cheap and too lazy to install any cameras, so there is nothing you can do except send your package to your work or to a friends… this sound advice was what I was told when I spoke to management about the issue. From taking with my fellow residents I know they were told the same, or sometimes they were just laughed at my management and told it’s not their problem. If you are in a wheelchair or will ever have a guest who is, you will likely have times you are just unable to access your apartment t as the elevator go down constantly sometimes management will send an email informing the resident the elevator is not working and won’t be until some part that is on back order comes, sometimes management ignores the issue all together. The sole parking garage elevator was broken for over 2 months… until recently getting fixed, only to break again for another week after just a couple days. Which can be really problematic if you use a cart to bring in groceries or park on the 5th level, like myself. Most recently the main doors to my building stopped working. They would lock if closes and you could t open them no matter what you did. Eventually the residents propped the door Open with a large rock, end made a note on the door telling other residents not to remove it unless they didn’t want to get in. For two weeks this went unaddressed by management despite God knows how many of us calling them regarding the situation. Finally they took down the resident made sign on the door and placed their own similar version up… Never was an email sent regarding this issue, despite management taking the time to send emails about food trucks that would be available on Tuesday nights. This door is supposed to remain locked at all times and is opened by fob or Dialling in to a resident for entry. Needless to say having it open to anyone who wants to enter at all times is a major security issue. More than once I have found homeless people sleeping in the lobby… Go elsewhere. I sure wish I had.
I love this place!! From the great staff (I dealt with Jeremy at the leasing office he’s the best!) to the great maintenance crew that takes care of everything right away I couldn’t ask for more! I have the 2/2 with the niche / office which is great since I work from home. The school bus picks up my son right up front by the leasing office I love it here! They even have a gym with a rowing machine !! I love my closet it’s so BIG. I get 2 of them in my huge bathroom it’s my favorite part of the whole place. It’s quaint and spacious at the same time. I also love how big my patio is :). There is shopping, nail salon dentist restaurants all walking distance. Moving here to Denver from Florida without even looking at it first was a lil hesitant but Jeremy was great! He even took pics of the apartment I was getting so I could get a feel for it !
When we first toured Promenade Place, we fell in love with its charm and character. The grounds looked nice, and the buildings felt secure because they were gated. The location is great due to its proximity to light rail stations, bus routes, restaurants, and shopping. That’s why Promenade Place continued to be in the top three choices of places to live, even though visitor parking isn’t ideal (street parking is limited, and visitor parking in the garage area is used by residents). We came back for a second tour, and while we were unable to see the actual apartment into which we would move, we signed our lease. It would take several follow-ups from us with the leasing office to finally receive our welcome/acceptance letter. When we finally saw where we were living, the appliances were much older than what we saw. We’ve lived here three months and some things still aren’t fixed. Whenever there is an issue with neighbors, I have to follow up at least twice with requests before anything is done, if at all. From noisy neighbors, to a bird feeder that was attracting squirrels, to neighbors letting their dogs run through the hallways without being leashed. Labor Day weekend was the worst. Someone’s pet had defecated in the interior hallway, and they didn’t pick it up. In the same area, someone spilled something slick, and it’s very slippery. I sent an email to the leasing office on the weekend, but since the dog waste and slippery spill was still in the hallway, I went to the office to let them know. I was told their email servers have been down for the past few days, so they didn’t read my email. But I was assured maintenance would come and clean up the mess. As of this morning, three days later, the floors still haven’t been cleaned. Before we moved in, I asked about recycling. I was told you can just leave recycling in the entryways. There is recycling, but it is always full and difficult to find. The result is the entryways always look junky as there is recycling everywhere. It would help if property management walked the buildings/grounds. People smoke in the stairwells, and I found an exterior door that had duct tape on it so that people could enter the building bypassing security. There are so many properties in the area where people can live. It would be nice if Finger Companies would take a little more ownership in Promenade Place so that residents would be proud of where they live.
Be aware!! There is common practice not to return lease deposit after the end of ;lease. It happens to many residents. The administration is holding the deposits, putting unexpected and not agreed on services into the final bill, in order not to release the deposit. Overall, the Promenade Place office service is bad and unprofessional for any case of lease change, renewal, or closure. My positive experience of staying 27 month in Promenade Place apartments, has been completely ruined at the time I received my last closing bill, with the notive that they will hold my deposit. In the current competitive situation, having bad administration office is a big disadvantage! Take this into consideration closing your lease in Promenade Place!
I recently moved to Greenwood Village from Nashville, TN and after seeing 5 different complexes, I knew that Promenade Place was the perfect place to call my new home. I live with my significant other in a one bedroom and we have more space than we need with huge closets, double vanities in the bathroom, and a huge tub. The staff and office workers are so nice and welcoming. The complex is in the process of upgrading the pool and workout room (which is already in great shape). The area is very safe and the community has a lot to offer because everything you may need is within a 10 minute drive. Overall, it's a great place to live.
I lived at Promenade for 3.5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed my time living at this complex. Great pool, community room, gym, and amenities. Staff was great to work with; any time there were issues, they were always accessible and available. Notably, they would actually work with you, instead of dictate to you like most apartment complexes. I would recommend these apartments to anyone!
I have lived here for almost a year now and out of the 14 years I have been renting Promenade Place is by far the very best place I have ever lived. There are a ton of reasons why I love this place and I can honestly not think of negative thing to say! First off the staff here is AMAZING! They are always friendly, know everyone here by name, are always willing to go above and beyond whenever possible, are on top of any maintenance issues that may arise and keep the grounds here immaculate! The apartment itself is amazing too. I challenge anyone to find walk in closets as large as the ones they have here. They are also very energy efficient, I have lived in buildings newer than this one in a smaller apartment and had much higher utility bills. They are also very secure and its upsetting to see people post anything that says otherwise. Several times I often fall asleep and forget to lock my front door. The parking garage and all of the grounds are very well lit and often times I see security doing their routine checks of the grounds at night. I have walked home several nights at 2 AM and never once felt unsafe. This is the only place I have ever recommended to people I know who are looking to move.
