I moved into my 830 sq. ft. apartment last November, and overall, it has been a wonderful experience. While I have noticed some changes with more people moving in, I’ve been fortunate to have a positive living situation so far. I’m new to Texas. I moved here for a new beginning after a string of tragedy interrupted my life. I fell in love with the Humble area. I found Prose Deerbrook apts and fell in love as well. I took a tour 3xs but the staff didn’t frown upon this was always pleasant and welcoming. This is important because you never know what a person is going through kindness matters and makes impressions more than you may know.

The floors are so thin the noise you hear if you don’t live on the third floor is excruciating. For one the air planes sound like the are landing on the roof, an if you have neighbors above you with children don’t expect any peace if you move here. The office staff won’t do anything about the noisy neighbors either. I can’t wait to move.

I am very new to Prose Deerbrook. I chose these apartments because out of the many I looked at these seem to be on point with a few things I find important with my place of dwelling 1. Being upkeep of the community 2. How well lighting is at night. Not once during my visit did I see garbage dumpsters running over with trash. I didn’t see people walking around looking strange. I didn’t see lights burned out and not replace. I didn’t see trash on the ground.

Living here is good but having unpleasant neighbors is one of my concerns. It started with quietness then noise and now we are with more noise. The airplanes don’t bother me at all but hearing food steps at night is very disturbing to me. Hearing a baby cry as well I am parent so i understand but to hear it to my room is different.

Prose Deerbrook Community is an ideal place to live being that it has the environment of inclusion and security, not to mention it is a newly built community and so I love the fresh apartment itself with modern appliances. I am writing this review to express my frustration with the misinformation provided during the rental application process. Initially, I was informed by Mackenzie that approval was solely based on eviction history and felony records. However, upon applying, I was denied due to my credit score, which directly contradicted the information I received.
I have been contacted and or approached by everyone in the office and ALL of them are extremely professional, friendly and caring. I could tell immediately that they are trained well.

I love my apartment, I like management everytime I come through the leasing office they are so nice and we always have small talk, the apartment is beautiful and it’s very quiet on my side of the complex I’d recommend!
Overall prose is a very great place I love the floor plan, it’s very clean and quiet.

Great location excellent amenities, clean and quiet facilities. Smooth move start to finish. Grateful I chose this over my other options in Humble.
Prose Deerbrook is a quiet community. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The convenience of having everything you need within a mile or two travel is a plus. I highly recommend Prose Deerbrook.
Don't move here! Soundproofing is horrible and the assistant manager on staff will make you feel as if your complaints aren't valid. Only fix to an issue I have no control over is to pay an additional fee to transfer. I hate it here!

I applied for this apartment a little after July 1st and was approved. My move-in date originally was Aug. 12th but I called the leasing office (Ava) who gave me the virtual tour, that I was going to arrive Aug. 5th instead. I also mentioned that I will be coming Saturday which is the weekend and if I would be able to move in. She said she lived 15 minutes away and can get here once I arrive. I moved here from New Jersey, so it was a pretty big move. I landed in Texas around 3pm and once I got on the property, the leasing office was closed. I called and also reached out to Ava countless of times but no luck. It was about 8pm when I saw some neighbors outside and told them my situation, they told me they couldn't sleep tonight knowing that I was going to sleep on a bench in the lobby. l crashed on their couch that night and the following night. On Monday, I was finally able to get in my apartment. One of the staff members issued me a credit of $200 for the inconvenience. That was one of my first negative experience on this property, but I am glad I am okay because something way worse could've happened to me that weekend that couldn't be compensated for. I work from home and a few days after moving in, I started having internet issues. Before moving in, they told me the internet is included and that I could work on the property's Wi-Fi. Well after moving in, the internet stopped functioning properly. I was unable to work and started getting concerns from my manager. When I brought this to them, they told me I could work on the leasing office's Wi-Fi because the internet wasn't all the way set up which was not what they told me before moving in. That unfortunately was a temporary solution because the leasing office's internet stopped working too. So, they suggested I should buy my own internet service. When I called service providers, they told me they do not service this area. This issue went on for weeks and I ended up getting fired the same month I moved in. So far, living here has been nothing but a nightmare but unfortunately, I am here for another 14 months.
I love the location being safe and private. The moving experience is awesome with the manager and staffs being very professional and welcoming. Although the construction of the entire facility and setting up of utilities are still underway which is understandable as it is a newly built community, but the management is prompt to address concerns and working diligently to ensure residents’ satisfaction. Overall, I love the fact that I am the first to live in my unit, I could still smell its fresh scent as a newly constructed building??
This place is simply a perfect place to live if one is looking for privacy, safety and security. Not to mention the excellent service and hospitality by all staffs and the manager of Prose! Well recommended!
