With its tree-lined streets and large homes on large, landscaped lots, Jackson is an attractive town located about 26 miles southeast of Trenton. The town enjoys a robust tourism industry, home to Six Flags Great Adventure. This theme park is home to the world's tallest roller coaster, Kingda Ka. The roller coast is 45 stories (456 feet) high and goes from 0 to 128 mph in 3.5 seconds. Next to Six Flags Great Adventure, Safari Off Road Adventure takes visitors on an off-road adventure along 350 acres that's home to 1,200 animals from six continents.
Jackson's location is ideal, roughly halfway between Trenton and the Jersey Shore, with less than 30 minutes to both. New York City is about an hour away, accessible via I-95 or the Garden State Parkway. Bus service is also available. In addition to the theme parks, Jackson is home to the Metedeconk National Golf Club, the Pine Barrens Golf Club, Eagle Ridge Golf Club, and the Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area.

Property Ratings at Prospect Pointe Apt.
This place isn’t TERRIBLE but let me put it this way, if i had the chance to go back in time and not sign my lease, i would in a heartbeat. Only reason it isn’t terrible is because we have a more “renovated” apartment. However, Dog poop absolutely everywhere, cameras being installed might be helpful instead of DNA testing dog poop, loud noisy neighbors due to thin walls, maintenance is not 24/7 as stated, things break easily here, way too many bugs in the summer coming through AC units. Not to mention, when moving in, the place was not thoroughly cleaned or inspected so we had to clean up after the old tenants. Leasing manager is rude and very clearly doesn’t care about what’s brought to her attention..fails to fix the issues or come up with any reasonable solutions for those paying to live here. Strongly advise looking for an apartment elsewhere because it’s truly not worth it.
Despite the numerous dog poop stations, people still do not clean up after their pets and nothing is done about it. I have a dog and clean up after it... It's not that hard! They also state that they have an amenity for a dog park. It is the smallest dog park I ever seen and with the field it is in, they could have made it bigger. Furthermore, the dog park is filled with dog poop and it has metal parts sticking out of the ground that basically make it unsafe and unusable. So much for pet friendly. People are always throwing their human food out onto the grass where any animal or child can eat it... my dog included! Some of the things they throw are toxic to dogs! People have thrown waffles, a whole pineapple, chocolate cookies, etc. It is disgusting. There is liter everywhere and whoever goes and picks up the trash almost always ends up dropping a bag off the back of the truck and never picking it up. They also speed through on the grass. People litter their cigarettes everywhere and I have found countless alcohol bottles throughout. They should have someone clean up the grounds ever so often. As a resident, I should not feel the need to clean up around my area other people's messes but I do. Constantly. The cops have been here numerous times no doubt for the same people and nothing is done about it. Someone's apartment got broken in to not too long ago either. I do not feel safe here and feel like I am being watched half the time. Our laundry room does not lock. Maintenance men half a*s fix things or are rude when you call. Went to use the "newly" renovated gym about a month ago only to discover a piece of equipment broken which could have the potential to be hazardous. Nowhere is perfect but the list of infractions here is practically endless. No use calling to the office they do not try to help. Would not have moved here if I had much of a choice.
Complex allows dogs which means a bunch of slobs who don't clean up after their dogs and let their dogs bark all day. Majority of apartments have way over the occupancy limit but nothing seems to be done about it. So you're sharing laundry with dozens of people not to mention a shared water bill. No parking and management allows people to continuously park spare cars in all the visitor spots. There are multiple non working vehicles parked taking up visitor spots. There are also mentally unwell or drugged up people creeping around the lots at night.
This place isn’t joke I’m shocked I’m still here, rent is insane, maintenance doesn’t do a thing, office staff is rude, people don’t pick up after their dogs, there’s stray cats here, eh uh people feed and leave cat food outside, there’s always hypodermic needles outside
I put a down payment on an appt expecting to move in but unfortunately my house fell through several times with the buyers and when I finally close the deal and was ready to move in I became sick and now I can’t get a refund or move in cause they said they change it to many times for me like I made the selling of my house fall through thank you prospect point one of your frontline workers
They charge a ridiculous amount $$$ for rent, and for what??? Shelter and heat?? Place is full of mold. People are dirty. One parking spot per apartment(dumbest thing imaginable). Place is the biggest dump. If you want your kids to start doing drugs then this is definitely the place for you
Had some reservations about moving. This complex 10min from work. Office staff very friendly, maintenance responded immediately any issue. My rear unit very quiet. I'm handicapped my neighbors always greet me and offer help. This move was a good idea. V.H.
I've been living at Prospect Pointe Apartments for a few years now in building five and have seen a lot of changes for the better. Every interaction and request to get anything fixed has been taken care of promptly. Sam is very approachable and is sincerely interested in helping with any issues that may arise. The maintenance staff is also flexible when it comes to working with your schedule if you want to be home when something needs to be fixed or replaced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Prospect Pointe to anyone.

Thank You for your 4 star review we greatly appreciate it. Our pleasure.
We have had multiple bug infestations that management has not taken seriously. My fiancé is up killing hundreds of flies as I write this. They advertise that they take your garbage for you at a convenience and you pay for it, but it just attracts bugs into the apartment. And we just got a letter announcing their raising rent in an already crazy rental priced apartment!

Hi We apologize about your experience in reference to your concern. Please feel free to come by the Leasing office to discuss your concern. Thank You THE MANAGEMENT
Worst place ever! Trashy place, never kept up, rude staff, never fixed anything!! Parking atrocious, laundry never worked, pool closed most the summer, and possibly the ugliest fake "stainless" appliances ever!
I will be renewing my lease and staying another year! The office staff and maintenance people are super helpful. The community is pet friendly and my neighbors and I walk our dogs together almost every night. Prospect has become my home, I locked myself out one night and called the emergency service and maintenance was at my apartment in 15 minutes. I am very happy and definitely recommend these apartments.
Everything starts out great and they advertise a drug-free and quiet place for your family and kids. They even placed us in the apartments near the playground since I told them we had two small kids. Things went smoothly to start and then it all went downhill from there. Just to name some of the major things ... The playground was destroyed within the first few months of leasing, the heating vent leaked and maintenance “scheduled” several visits but never actually came to fix anything - including the dampened rug and rotten subfloor that was caused by the leak. The latest problem is tonight - it is currently 37 degrees outside and our heat is not working. My sweet neighbor next door came knocking to let me know she called the emergency number for maintenance that I had no idea existed and the nice man who was on duty, I guess, brought us an electric heater. My kids are sleeping with 3 blankets each tonight. From what I understand, the property managers were aware of the problem because they knew our boiler was leaking and did nothing to fix it. My family and I are moving out just in time. I only hope that this gets better before it gets worse. My husband grew up in this neighborhood and it was a place I would have liked to raise my children but not like this. If anyone reading this is teetering on renting here, don’t. Once I told the manager we were ending our lease, he actually seemed concerned and asked if there was anything he could do to have us stay ... I mentioned some of the issues I put here in this review and got nothing. No response. No care. I guess he felt it was his obligation to seem like he cared ... guess what - they don’t. I read reviews before I agreed to rent here and I wish the others were as honest as I’m being. Like I said, it all starts out great.
The newly renovated units are amazing !! The staff and maintenance team are extremely helpful. The grounds and pool are really super great to walk my dog!!
I enjoyed the pool all summer. New management has been making improvements. Place looks better and people in the leasing office have been helping put my service dog on the lease. I was concerned when the new owners took over, but Prospect has improved a lot.
My renovated apartment is really nice, the kitchen is brand new. I have lived in other rental communities and find the service here has been excellent. The office staff is very helpful. I am new to the area and they helped me with getting my child enrolled in school. The area is convenient with shops and main highway not far.
I have been living here for almost 5 years and this complex has continually gone down hill since we have lived there. The owners allowed 7-8 people to live in a 2 bedroom apartment. Repairs take days to schedule and are never fixed the first time they come out. There is one person in the office who cares about the tenants but there is little she can do to help you out. The maintenance guys are decent but again, they can't do much to help either. People leave broken down cars in the lot making it impossible so people park illegally in the fire lane, the office just tells residents to call the cops there is nothing they can do (they won't even send out a memo to let people know cops will be called if they park illegally). If there was a fire, the trucks wouldn't be able to get through the lot. There are kids that hang out in front of the buildings yelling and throwing balls around hitting the buildings. People are obviously dealing drugs out of more than one building and the owners are aware of this but again, don't seem to care. This is the worst and more stressful place I have ever lived, I can't wait to get out of here.
I recently rented a renovated apartment and must say I am very happy. The quality and design is really nice. Most of all the service has been great. Sunny the maintenance person does a great job and always arrives quickly. I had a problem in the middle of the night on a Saturday and Sunny showed up and made it all look easy.
My fiance and I were looking for an apartment, we came to tour at Prospect Pointe and loved everything we saw. After moving in we came across a few online reviews that made us question if we had made the right choice. I can definitely tell you we did! The new management has been nothing but helpful and the maintenance staff is fantastic. If we had seen and listened to the online reviews we probably would not have moved in. Moral of the story here is never judge a book by its cover! This honestly a great community and our neighbor is the sweetest woman you would ever want to know.
I moved into a renovated apartment on September 1st and it has been great so far. The apartment has new cabinets, appliances and carpets. Maintenance staff has been really nice and fixed any issues fast.
Trust. Me. Bugs everywhere, cockroaches, laundry unit always flooded, mold everywhere, dog bag stations always empty, garbage always overflowing and a management team that is literally worse than having no management at all. You're better off living in your car! If you live here, you will be stuck here for at least a year with no way to get out of it and I promise you will regret it and wish you never signed. Any review over 1 star is the management team writing it themselves - please pay attention the the 1 stars and take them to heart. I have read reviews about apartment complexes in the past from over worried young parents saying a place is 'unsafe' and have ignored it and went to look for myself because I'm laid back and I know it's usually an over reaction. How bad can a place be? Trust me!! I'm 24 years old and live with my husband, we don't have children or anything and are very laid back people who are extremely hard to bother but we are saying this place is not safe for ANY couple/family/single person. Sketchy people walking around everywhere, scratches on our cars, people in the lot smoking at night who lurk and make you feel unsafe walking your dog, but most importantly, the most sketchy nightmare of a management company you have ever heard of! These extremely rude, snooty managers who act like they are above you and you are not human seem to have taken over overnight in August 2016. They will not take messages, they will not give you their bosses info, they will interrupt you and treat you like a dog, etc. If you sign your lease with them you are signing your blood and will be taken advantage of for every penny you have (even some you don't have) with no way to escape for at LEAST a year! Do not trust these people with your money or safety!! If the price is what attracts you to this place, please trust me, it's a low price for a reason. Shell out the extra money if you can for another place, ANY other place- it's worth your peace of mind!

Prospect Pointe is now under new ownership and is willing to address any issues that you may have. We are sorry for your bad experience. Please contact the management office so we can resolve all issues.
I hate it here and can't wait to move when the lease is up. Our laundry room was unusable for almost a year when they said it would take 3 weeks. Have sent in several requests to have repairs done and nobody ever comes. Walls are thin, neighbors are loud and there is constant police activity. They charge way too much in rent. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
All the apartment is worst . The leasing office does absolutely nothing but hand out excuses as to why they can't fix things properly. They make it very difficult to get to them in person and drag their feet on everything except when it comes to collecting rent. Absolutely DO NOT MOVE HERE. the head office manger give me a bad attitude whenever coming to ask for anything . DO NOT MOVE HERE
Way over priced for what you get. The pictures and model apartment they show are far from reality. I have moved from one apartment to another because of leaks and bad neighbors and each apartment is worse than the last. The leasing office does absolutely nothing but hand out excuses as to why they can't fix things properly. I have had a leak in this new apartment for months now and they have yet to fix it. Maintenance can't do anything and NO ONE in charge answers the phone. They make it very difficult to get to them in person and drag their feet on everything except when it comes to collecting rent. Absolutely DO NOT MOVE HERE. It might look nice online but trust me it's a nightmare in reality.
Good for the fact I have my own place but apartment gets a trembly hot during the summer besides that I think my apartment is ok to stay in.
I really can not stand my current apartment, i am in the process of relocating out of state because the rent is to high.
I've lived in prospect pointe for a year now and it's alright. For the rent that is charged I expected a better environment. However I was new to the area and if I would have known what it was like before I moved in here I wouldn't have. My lease is up for renewal and I'm not renewing it. May be ok for first time renters but not so sure about long term or wanting stability. The building I live in water main for the laundry room was busted for several months before they fixed it. They don't make repairs when you put in a request. They are more so about money. I guess that's why it was so easy to get accepted. Although my credit is well.
