Gunshots, burglaries, car hacking, rowdy and bad neighbors. Dangerous place. Management don’t care.

We paid for an apartment for my son while he went to VSU. We paid an extra upfront sum that allowed us to get out of the lease in a month if necessary. We were also supposed to receive our deposit back. There was a lot of documentation, and hidden fees added up at the end of our stay even though the apartment looked the same as it did the day he moved in, the day he moved out. We are not finished with this matter, but we wanted to let it be known to hopefully save someone else the headache that we are about to go through.

This place is nice on the inside but there are no lights in the bedrooms, the patio makes everything loud, and you can smell weed from your neighbors. The manger is very helpful though and it comes with a lot of necessities. I think it just needs more attention to detail when you sign. Honestly they won’t tell you unless you ask and then that info may be false. Do the Elite program.
Where to begin... Horrible management, your neighbors are probably selling drugs, gun shots at least once a month, your car will be scratched by your neighbors as they walk past your vehicle, the gym is falling apart, the pool filter does not work and is not maintained correctly (surprised someone hasn’t got a bad bacterial infection yet)... trash all over the place, even though it’s picked up daily, you will see under cover cops trying to find people passing back your back door at night, management will warn you to lock your vehicle and apartment because of increased break-ins around the holidays, BUGS in the units will crawl around at night, maintenance orders will be canceled by management if you ask them twice to fix it, you will be talked down upon by management and they will twist your words around to use them against you. Hmmmm what else?? The list just goes on and on... just stay away from here. That’s the BEST thing to do...
Since I’ve been living in Prosper Azalea, I never had any problems with Management Or the maintenance crew. The management is awesome, and I would recommend anybody to stay out there. They move real quickly to get the job done. I put in a transfer one week, and that following week I was in my new apartment. And with me transferring to my new apartment, I received a brand new 50 inch television, which was totally awesome. Overall, I Love renting from Prosper Azalea. It’s a totally wonderful place to live??????
Just wanted to say that since the new management has taken over there’s been a huge turn around. The office staff is well organized and very helpful. Andrea is very professional, Tess goes will go out of her way to help you, Emily is very polite and knowledgeable and willing to work with you.. Maintenance has had a MAJOR turn around i just want to give them a big shout-out because maintenance has w horrific in the past!!! I know that sometimes it does take time to get your request but they have a lot going on also I think they’re short staffed. Contrary to that I’ve noticed “Kris (K2) his nickname” cool name by the way! Is very polite, professional and knows his stuff !!! He goes out of his way to help you and after completing a request if he see you out he stops and ask if everything is still okay. K2 is very good multitasker works hard and does everything right, no shady work . The other “Chris” is polite and completes every job to the best of his ability he works fast and I think his catch phase is “ knock- knock- maintenance...maintaining” both of the guys are great at what they do and have wonderful personality’s

Thank you so much for your review of PROSPER Azalea City! We have been working hard to improve our community and we are thrilled to hear this! We appreciate you taking the time to review us!
They want us to clean up after our animals or we’ll get fined but they don’t even provide bags or a proper place to dispose of the bag. The dog park has bags of poop all on the concrete and it’s been there for weeks. They have a place where bags are suppose to be but there hasn’t been any bags in there since we moved here.
Just be mindful when choosing this place, because it might be easy on the wallet and conveniently located but if you have a problem with maintence then it takes forever to get fixed or even looked at.
Don't live here! The manager is rude, and has unprofessional ways. They don't stand up for what's right, nor the rules that are on the lease agreement. The head manager will be contacted, and I will be getting in touch with better business bureau if needed.
I had a 1bed/1bath apartment for a year. The staff know me by name and are very friendly. The complex is HUGE, you will have to help your friends find your apt if you invite anyone over. I had a reoccurring roach problem in the fall and winter (tiny ones) and they came to spray within 2 weeks of my complaint. When it wasn't enough they sent them again and that fixed it. The park is nearby and a nice place to walk around, as well as just the complex itself because the trees provide nice shade. My neighbors are fine. Some of them have friends over late and party while others are just little families. Only problem I'm having now that I didn't have during the school year is since summer hit, we've been hearing gunshots. It sounds like it's coming from the complex this one makes a U-bend around, not this one.
Front of the property looks appealing but the back is like they could care less about how it looks. If you tour this property, make sure you get them to take you back there. Maintenance does not have a clue what they are doing. They never actually fix anything. They only patch stuff up. Our AC has not worked right since moving in. Seems like we are calling them weekly about it. We have had water leaks that soaked the carpet and now the apartment reeks of an odor. Probably from mold! Management is rude and will make up lies on you. So basically what I am saying is that if you are looking for an apartment in Valdosta, you would be better off sleeping in a tent at one of the local parks!
a lot drug use going on the tennis court is useless there is no volly ball court or good manegment here that I've seen yet they had my
This is the perfect apartment complex if you want Management and Maintenance to care for you as a renter. If you have any problem, Management has someone there immediately. There is a tennis court, a great gym and a wonderful pool area with great lounge chairs for relaxing. The complex is close to several strip malls but still has a country feel with all the huge pine trees galore throughout the complex. I open my patio blinds and have my own mini woods where all my potted plants and bird feeders nestle under these huge beautiful trees. Evenings I can just sit and watch all the birds, the squirrels, the toads and the bees just taking advantage of my garden. My apartment/home is currently a two bedroom and once a three bedroom becomes available, they will be moving me into a three bedroom. Due to lung cancer I had to give up my four bedroom home for an apartment and a two bedroom is just not large enough for my possessions and a bedroom for my family when they come to visit from Wisconsin and Texas. My second bedroom at present is filled from floor to ceiling with boxes and totes waiting to be unpacked. I do sewing and embroidery to supplement my disability and I cannot even find my machines let along all the supplies for these machines. Current rent for my apartment/home, with water and cable, is $605.00 and when I move to my new apartment/home the rent will be $695.00. It would mean the world to me to have my rent paid for life as, if you know anyone that is on disability, disability does come close to half of what income was while working. The monthly income went way down while the monthly bills seem to have almost doubled, due to medical. The Lord has given me a second chance so far. Given I cannot work at this time, I am a Hospice volunteer five days a week for six patients and I believe this was the Lord's plan for me. Helping people that are in no hope situations medically and have no one to sit with them, talk with them and have them feel that they are cared for. Also, I am being helped by these wonderful people I see daily because I had been in a nursing home for six moths after my lung removal and pretty much alone in Illinois with my family in Wisconsin and Texas. I know what alone feels like when you know you may not wake up the next day. I am truly Blessed in this life in every respect, and if selected I will be able to continue volunteering. I truly hope to hear from you with the wonderful news.. Respectfully, I submit,
I have lived here for a few years and was becoming very disappointed with the ownership. The former owners neglected the residents, property and had absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. The new ownership and management team have gone through great lengths to repair the previous damages. I absolutely love the work being accomplished and appreciate the timely responses by maintenance and the courteous office staff. Previously, I would not recommend this property to anyone. Seeing the changes over the past few months, I now have hope that this property will once again return to a very safe and lovely place to live. I would now definetly recommend and love their prices.
