Property Ratings at Providence Park
Nice Apartments, Rude office Staff. Specifically a lady named Meagan. She called me concerning packages I had that were not picked up by me. Which is fine, I continued to inform her the chaos of finding packages in the mail room that are not properly placed in the right area of residents last names which many residents have had trouble with. She goes on to give me a statistic that 99% of mail packages are placed in the right area which is untrue. As to discredit my concern in a rude manner. I have stood for 20 mins in the mailroom before searching for my package that was placed in the wrong area on multiple occasions. Office staff needs training on how to professionally create dialogues with residents and be polite towards them. We pay money here we deserve respect without the condescending tones, attitude & unnecessary judgement.
Never had any issues the staff has always been very helpful. Also very family oriented apartment complex very quiet and peaceful.
I’ve lived here a little less than a year and it’s close to everything I need! My commute to work is great and there’s plenty of things to do in the area!
Spend your money where it’s appreciated. Unprofessional, uncaring and inconsistent. Action speaks. Talk is cheap.
There is a big hidden problem which might not come to your attention even if you see your apartment thoroughly before renting. Look outside your window and if you see those huge air-conditioners next to your rooms, do not rent the apartment. The noise will give you sleepless nights. Don't expect the leasing office to reveal this problem. I would rather prefer sleeping in a flour mill than at home. My 2 bed has literally turned into 1 bed because one of them is useless, I need to bear with this for the next 7 months.
Property Manager at Providence Park, Responded To This Review
We are so sorry you have had this problem! Your Service Team responded within 15 minutes of your notifying us about this noise and they worked on it diligently without stopping until it was completely fixed. We are glad you are happy with the results.
The good news is that the advertisements are true that the apartments are huge. It sure looks good but the bad reviews are right onThin walls and some pretty lousy residents Management is pretty much fake smiles and bad attitudes Super lazy mainetenance staff For the price you should get much much more.
I found out about the car break ins and other crimes via word of mouth. It seemed that after enough heard and began asking questions of the office, that’s when notices went out....longer than 24 hrs later. In regards to evidence, the maintenance mgr piled up a long list and when asked for THEIR evidence, there was none. I agree they are looking to bill the renter for everything and that piles up with higher charges even though they rare pro-rated as a the complex responded. Location is good.
Property Manager at Providence Park, Responded To This Review
Providence Park Management is very quick to send emails to all residents any time an incident occurs. Most recently an email was sent to all residents just as soon as we were notified, letting them know that several cars had been entered. In every single case, a door was left unlocked. Even though not one car was broken into, valuables left in vehicles were taken. In the email to all residents, Management reminded residents to make sure to lock all car doors and to not leave anything visible inside. If you did not receive that email, please lets us know so that we can make sure the email address we have for you is the most current.
Musty air conditioning, leaky washers, poor customer service, inefficient a/c vents, no ceiling fans
Be careful when vacating the apartment. Take pictures and have an official walk through to eliminate their opportunity to claim extensive damage. If reporting issues, take pictures and report via email vs phone messages. Crime in the complex is not widely reported. Find out through other tenants. There were numerous car break ins that were not reported to the community. Community tenants are good
Property Manager at Providence Park, Responded To This Review
Our goal at Providence Park is to give our residents back 100% of their security deposit. The Move in Inspection form is an integral part of the move in and move out process. If a resident does not return their Move in Inspection form, we must assume that everything in their home at move in is perfect and we conclude anything found at move out was from the resident. Providence Park does not ever charge more than the cost to clean or repair damage and in every case, damages are prorated so the resident is not stuck paying for the full replacement cost of something which was damaged. Residents are notified within 24 hours via email or letter any time crime has occurred, even if it happens in our area and not at Providence Park. Fortunately, very few notices of this kind have had to be sent in the last 3 years.
Recently moved in and it's pretty great so far! The people are nice and lots of our neighbors have dogs just like we do. My boyfriend and I just recently graduated from college and this is a great place to start off at because it's not too expensive. I have student loans along with other bills so we were really struggling to find a place that we could enjoy for a good price and we found it!
I recently moved to Charlotte from New York and found Providence Park Apartments to be the nicest of any of the complexes I checked out. The apartments really are huge (as advertised) and close to major roadways, shopping, grocery stores, banks, drug stores and dry cleaning. The staff that showed me around were really friendly and live in the complex themselves. The grounds and amenities, including the pool, grilling area, clubhouse, gym and business office are clean and maintained. There are also community events that take place each month. This is a great place to live and the pricing is right.
