Property Ratings at Providence Pointe
The units themselves are nice. Everything else, not so much. Almost no one here cleans up after their dogs, people openly smoke weed in common areas, there are semi-regular car break ins, people run their dogs off leash, and homeless people regularly cross through the apartments to get to Reynolda Road. Yes it’s cheap and the units are nice but I don’t think management plans on addressing the serious issues with the complex. Anyone who is concerned about safety or has a family should look elsewhere.
Wonderful Management. Jasmin has been so friendly, helpful and courteous! She helped me out with the information about my apartment and helped me get all of my information in, I work about 65-70 hours a week, and she was extremely helpful in staying in contact with me (and not in a bothersome way) to get the apartment. I requested to see if they had a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment asap, and she really helped to get this done quickly! The apartment is super nice, very clean when I moved in. The maintenance crew on site keeps everything working and clean. Never any trash laying outside, amenities are wonderful, the gym is nothing but pure love (its available for us whenever we want, using our own code to get in) the location is super secure and I love that each apartment has its own security alarm system. Jasmin you ROCK!!!
Love the floor plan of the apartment. The appliances are not great but if any issues come up, the maintenance staff is amazing! I like the property overall. There is a small dog park, a couple of charcoal park style grills in a mediocre picnic area, a nice theater and a nice pool. The grounds are minimally maintained by mowing and trimming. The security gates are not functional most of the time and will be coming down permanently at the end of the year. If you enjoy spending time at the pool you’re going to have to deal with foul mouthed, disrespectful kids from outside the community rough housing and dominating the pool area all day. Management has no control over the kids trespassing and tell the residents to call the police to have the kids removed. They come back in immediately after the officers leave. If you say anything to the kids about not using foul language, they get rude and threatening. After 2 and a half years, I will not be renewing my lease
I’ve been living here 8 months here, everything is kept clean, staff is really nice and communicative. Maintenance is always on point. Gate hasn’t really worked that much but it feels a safe environment at night time. Overall great experience, neighbors are amazing. And never had a complaint about anything whatsoever.
I came from Northern Virginia, and Iived in several places before I found Providence Pointe(home). I actually loved those apartments, they are by far the area. They are kind of pricey, but this is one time you actually pay for what you get. Because they are lovely, clean, comfortable setting, quiet. If you into fitness you could work out anytime. If something was wrong, and needed fixing, they had maintenance there right away. And, they were so nice, the staff and the maintenance crew. And I felt extremely safe there, there were quite a few police officers there, which was great. I am a very classy woman. and believe me when I say these are the best!! I , unfortunately had to move because I lost my job, and a week later, my son got sick and lost his job. So, we couldn't afford it at the time. But, I intend to go back now that I am in Real Estate. People say, you can get a house of your own for that amount of money, I say, right now I don't want a house of my own. And, when you think about its really not that much more expensive than anywhere else. You may have to wok harder to live there, and to me, to feel safe its worth every penny. Orita Waller
I relocated to this area for work, and had very limited time to find an apartment. Of all the places I toured, Providence Pointe was by far one of the best apartments I had found, in a convenient location, for an affordable monthly rent.. While there may be cheaper apartments in the area, or mor convenient locations to major highways or shopping areas, I have found the the quality, and upkeep of the property, as well as the friendliness of the property staff is some of the best I have seen. I am very grateful to Providence Pointe and the leasing managers and maintenance team. They do an incredible job. Gated community, with clean pool, business center, movie theatre and fitness center. You should give providence pointe a tour, you won't regret it. They always have good specials, and reward you for refferals.. I highly recommend. Convenient to highway 52, i40, Hanes mall, Downtown Winston Salem, Wake Forest University as well as Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods, Food Lion and Walmart.
We have lived here for 8 months. I like the area and the amenities. It is close to everything without feeling like it's too close. Relatively quiet compared to other complexes I have lived in. The staff is always helpful and nice. I would not hesitate recommending Providence Pointe to anyone. I do wish the parking was a little different with spaces assigned and visitor parking limited to places other than right in front of tenant's building. I think the parking in front lof the buildings should be for tenants and overflow located elsewhere.
I moved here from Idaho and had no idea about the area. This community has been wonderful I love the gated access and the huge pet park. I would recommend this community to anyone looking to live in the Winston-Salem area.
Lived there for 2 years and had a little problem with the mold and it was poorly treated but after I moved they more concerned about carpet that can be taken up than mold in the wall.... problem and parking is an issue around the front units.
