Prospectors nicknamed Oro Valley the "Valley of Gold," and while they didn't find the precious metal, they did discover a spectacular landscape. Surrounded by mountains, Oro Valley is rich with outdoor adventure, ranging from rock-climbing, caving, and hiking to horseback riding and bicycling. The desert landscape is tinged with gold, from its rugged mountains to its sand dunes. Be sure to visit Catalina State Park, a 5,493-acre park featuring several hiking trails, including the Romero Ruin Trail, which leads through an important archaeological site -- the remains of a Hohokam village.
But it isn't just a stunning landscape that will entice you to rent an apartment in Oro Valley. This fast-growing city is quickly emerging as a hub for the biotech industry and is home to several pharmaceutical companies and medical campuses. Businesses located in or near Oro Valley include Honeywell, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and Sanofi-Aventis.

Property Ratings at Pusch Ridge Apartment Homes
New manager is not helping at all, we ask her for different stuff always late, never smile. But the previous manager (Kelly) was amzing nice, fast and helpful.
I have lived at Pusch Ridge for 5 years because they are so quiet and peaceful (very little noise from adjoining apartments). They have plush carpets and nice new appliances. I had the option of having one wall painted. It really brings in the comfort of a home into my apartment. The neighbors are really friendly. Lots of people walk each morning. also if you love animals, they are very pet friendly here. The staff is very respectful upon entering my apartment. As I have a cat and they are cautious of Koko. All the staff here are always helpful. Anytime I've had to call them they have came to my rescue very promptly. The layout of this apartment complex is very unique No apartment looks directly into one another and you are still able to keep your privacy. I would recommend you come and check out Pusch Ridge Apartment Homes and talk with Loni or Sergio.
I have explored living in several separate apartments in the Oro Valley Area, three of them in the last five years have been located at Pusch Ridge Apartments. I am what many people call a “frequent mover” because I feel like a person (especially one in her 70s) should take pride in the place where she calls home. After personally vetting several apartment areas, I can say with confidence that Pusch Ridge is ideal. For someone like me who has a bit of difficulty climbing stairs, Pusch Ridge has many ground floor units with a variety of scenery. I have lived in units near the main office/pool area (which is rarely occupied and typically quiet), on the edge of the property facing the canyon (more of a wilderness feel), and currently live near the on-site dog park and children’s play area. Each of the units were quite spacious and in spite of the variety of locations, each of them were very quiet. What I think really sets this apartment community apart from others are the service and amenities Pusch Ridge Apartments offers. The staff is truly helpful and accommodating. For example, I am very particular with the way I like my appliances to be. I found the locking feature on my washer to be irritating and with one conversation to the staff, a new washer more suitable to my needs is already on its way. The grounds are very well maintained and cleaned out weekly, providing a neat and tidy look to the community. Parking is included and comes with covered area (important because of that Tucson sun). The staff has always given me parking immediately accessible from my unit which is a huge plus! In this day and age, security is also an important feature to consider in selecting a new apartment. Pusch Ridge has password protected gate systems which keep solicitors out and allow visitors conveniently in. There is also ample parking for multiple visitors even on busy holidays (my extended family had no issue finding parking steps away from my unit for christmas). Each renter gets a remote gate-opener which is very convenient. I feel truly secure in my home and am confident that the things I store on the two patios included with my unit are safe. Altogether, I am very happy with my experience.
Pusch Ridge Apartments is a great place to live. Its a quiet neighborhood but the people who live in the area have interesting stories and are friendly. The apartments are in great shape. The staff is always willing to help you no matter what your issue is. Lastly, the drive out of the complex faces the mountain ranges. That view is always breath taking.
What Spectacular views of the Pusch Ridge Mountains! Every evening as the sun sets, they seem to turn pink in color; A wonderful and well maintained community with terrific Staff and Management; While taking walks in the evening or early morning, you will feel a sense of calm and peacefulness surround you; All amazing, since you are living in the very "heart" of Oro Valley, with all that you need, right at your very fingertips; Victoria T., Oro Valley, AZ
Spacious, worn apts/pool, move in ready issues, maintenance short handed, staff helpful, you pay remodel called up grade. Heavy traffic police monitoring. Trade= NW surround mountains, Catalina State Park, helpful merchants. Biosphere 2, The Loop for bike blazers, an aquatic center, or just quite. Area all age agreeable.
The leasing staff are very nice and helpful. Maintenance is prompt when called. The property is well-kept and appealing. Fun community events (free food!) are held almost monthly in the clubhouse. I enjoy my apartment and have no major complaints about its appearance or function. This community is quiet and family-friendly. The overall location right off Oracle Road is super convenient to get to most major retailers, fitness centers and schools. I'd recommend living at Pusch Ridge to any of my friends looking for a safe, appealing, reasonably-priced apartment in Oro Valley.
After looking at twelve other complexes in the area I was very surprised when I walked into this rental office. The manager was kind, professional and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and was able to come up with solutions to any issues I came up with. She was patient with me and when I viewed the complex I was very surprised. The master bedroom was huge and each unit has a fireplace. This complex is clean and quiet and has the amenities I was looking for. The residents are very friendly and there are community wide functions. It is located in a very good area and is convenient to shopping and grocery stores. I would highly recommend choosing this complex as your new home.
Someone can rent an apartment for a place to stay or you can rent an apartment that becomes from the first day a real home. That is what the Pusch Ridge Apartment Homes gives you. We have beautiful views of the mountains, the grounds are very well landscaped with the trees and green grass. To pull it all together we have the best staff working to keep it all running both day and night.
I moved from out of state to this Heaven. Not only was my transition smooth, I got to Pusch Ridge Apartments to meet the most helpful and amazing staff, the view is amazing and everything is amazingly kept really nice. It is very peaceful and quiet and everyone seem so nice. I have not had any problems so far with the staff or anything breaking down in my apartment. It sits conveniently between grocery stores and shopping plazas and overlooks this breathtaking mountain which I enjoy watching the sun set. The pool is kept so clean and looks so refreshing. If you are looking to live in a little paradise look no further because this is the right place to live!
Every morning I wake to beautiful views of the mountains at sunrise, provided by a 24/7 heated pool area to relax and start the day or unwind in at the end of the day. The grounds are neat and clean and quiet, even on the weekends. Staff here is friendly and professional, and they provide many opportunities to get together and establish that "neighborly" feel. Maintenance orders are processed quickly. Pusch Ridge is a place you'll want to call HOME.
I personally have had so many bad experiences with apartments. Bad neighbors, lousy maintenance and management who did not understand what it meant to have a life threatening circumstance and still expect the rent on time before the courts were involved. Pusch Ridge apartments? Those are the apartments that are beautifully sitting next to the Catalina mountains. You get to wake up with the view of the sunset traveling on the mountains and desert. Not intrigued yet? Well, get this. Have a pet? Great! Pusch Ridge apartments not only are pet friendly, but have a massive dog park that for your pets to enjoy! They know how your dog plays and as well..you know. They have doggy pick up bags almost every where on the property! With Pusch ridge apartments, they are so great with maintenance, they do hard, multiple jobs in a hurry. For instance, I had a time frame of 24 hours to fix my dishwasher and my toilet, and they came within 2 hours that I was gone to the store, and left me a brief note of what was done! They even checked my dishwasher just in case! :). They have plenty of apartments with carpet and wood flooring which makes it convenient for both wants..and again, pets. The management is beyond great with hospitality and friendliness. They understand your needs and as well offer great community partys, prizes or friendly reminders. So, if your looking for a home and not an apartment, take a look at Pusch ridge..I promise you will feel just like your at your home sweet home.
Very nice apartment with a fair price and great location. Fantastic view and everything you need.
My husband, son and I moved into Push Ridge a couple months ago and I've got to say, I love it here. We've lived in multiple apartments all over Arizona for our military career, and we simply decided on this place after much shopping around. The views of Mt. Lemmon are lovely, especially in the morning. The apartments are up pretty much right against them; close enough to get that spectacular view, but far enough away that you don't get all the mountain wildlife, like cougars, javelina, and rattlesnakes. The next good part is the friendly-ness of it. I love everyone in the office; unlike most places, where the staff acts like your best friend UNTIL you move in, Loni and everyone down in the office are always willing to work with you. My mom needed me to watch her dog for ac ouple days, and after calling the office to ask if I could without getting a penalty, they told me 'of course. Family comes first.' Which should be their motto here. The pool is clean and kept up, they have a small playground that my son LOVES going to, and the community is safe and a place I feel comfortable being when my husband is deployed. My only complaint is the 'bark-park' being a bit...bland. But other than that, I recommend Pusch Ridge to literally everyone who is looking for an affordable, safe, family and pet friendly place.
I love living at Pusch Ridge Apartments! The views are wonderful! I have been here about a year and have had very little to complain about. The apartment is priced well for being in Oro Valley and it has a good reputation, I know I checked. I have a three bedroom apartment and it is really big, nicely laid out. I really like the smaller community feel, the fact that it is set back off Oracle a little bit makes it feel like a quaint little community tucked back into the natural landscape just for us. It is pet friendly and has a "bark park" (love the name). I like my neighbors and the wildlife. The office staff is also very friendly. I think if you choose Pusch Ridge you would be very happy here.
Pusch Ridge was an awesome find! Excellent and friendly customer service, great apartments, outstanding and friendly maintenance response and a very quiet place to live. The 24/7 pool and hot tub is a wonderful option. Great find!
I love my apartment but I wish AZ had program for seniors to reduce rent.
