The Cheyenne Hills neighborhood lies four miles south of Downtown Colorado Springs and all of the city’s cultural and nightlife options. The neighborhood features the World Arena, Colorado Springs’ premier concert and sports venue. The arena hosts plenty of big-name acts all year round. In January and February, locals flock to the venue to watch the Colorado College Tigers play ice hockey.
Cheyenne Hills gets its name from Cheyenne Mountain which lies less than six miles to the south. The mountain rests within Cheyenne Mountain State Park, which contains over 2,700 acres of prairie-to-mountain land, 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, a campground and an archery range. In only a 12-minute drive, locals can hike, bike and camp inside this lovely park.

Property Ratings at Quail Cove
Since moving in, my bill has not been correct, I've been overcharged consistently. I attempted to have this corrected. I was told I would get a credit. A credit was not issued, I was overcharged again. I paid in full again, then was issued a Late Fee despite paying on-time and being overbilled. Management is aware of the situation and has done nothing to remedy it. Their Resident Portal also allows you to create Maintenance requests. But I was informed by an Assistant Manager that these don't follow what I would typically expect. For instance, if you have an issue with an appliance per Quail Cove, you'd create a ticket, Maintenance will then essentially create their own ticket with an outside vendor. Then once that ticket is made, but before the work is done, they will on the resident portal mark the Job as "completed" but in my case there is not a firm timeline when the work will actually be done and will likely be take them more than two months to actually have the work done on site. We had Bear Problem over the weekend, and I learned our "Emergency Maintenance Team" that answers with "Hi this Jane Doe with Quail Cove Maintenance Team" isn't actually on the team and what actually matters, Jane Doe doesn't even have a login to view the maintenance tickets.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share feedback. We genuinely appreciate your patience as we work through these issues. Regarding the credit, we’ve verified and issued the credits for July and August to your account as of August 8th. We also corrected the late fee issue upon learning about it on August 12th. The delay in addressing the late fee was due to the weekend timing and the fact that your communication came directly to the manager rather than the property email. We have since resolved this matter and will continue to monitor for any further concerns. We’ve also instructed our maintenance team to ensure that work orders are marked as complete only when the work is fully finished. The dumpster was secured, and we’ve informed our team to take extra precautions in the future. We understand that communication has been a challenge, and we are working to improve our processes to ensure timely responses. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any further concerns or need immediate assistance.
In the winter expect to buy ice melt and or either slip and fall or most issues not taking care of “maybe later”

Hello, We deeply apologize for your experience. It seems like you are disappointed, and we would love to hear more about where we fell short. Please reach out to our team at your earliest convenience.
I highly do Not recommend living at Quail Cove Apartments in Colorado Springs, CO. The management and maintenance team are extremely unprofessional, rude I can not stress enough how rude they actually are, and will literally rip you off for rent and other bills. They will not communicate properly or professionally no matter how polite or patient you are with them I can not stress how unpleasant it is interacting with them.

I am posting an update to my last review "stay away...". They responded to my review not only here but also in other places where I shared my negative experiences. However, after I reached out to the Quail Cove apartments 80906, (emailed K and N in the office), I never heard any thing back. So you know these responses from them are fake and superficial. Their only purpose was to show the good PR. Behind the scene, they would not do anything to resolve this. They had a debt collector (number shows from Denver) call me yesterday. I clearly told the collector that I would report to the police for harassment, and am ready to see them in small claims court. SO if you want to avoid such issues in the future, stay away from Quail Cove apartments 80906. There are plenty of choices in that area.
I lived at the bottom level of building 4, and had terrible experiences with my neighbors who has no sense of living in an apartment. They had their dogs running, jumping up and down inside their apartment, barking. They smoke inside their unit and they had late night parties way past the quiet hours. This neighbors above my level was transferred from another unit due to excessive noises per the office people. Since they are military, the office did not want to evict them to make the military look bad plus the military is the major clients of these property. So they lied to me about the whole eviction process took time. They offered me more expensive units but I could not afford them and had no choice but moved out. Then they told me I owed them 2 months of rent as penalty. What kind of business values do these people have? I contacted the Echelon Property Group people https://www.echelonrents.com/about/leadership. I called many times and sent multiple messages to have further conversations. No one has ever answered. I hired a mold testing company to conduct the test. The results are there are molds inside the unit. I am sharing my story so that you know what you are getting if you chose this Quail Cove apartment, 80906. These are old apartments have loud water running noises. Floors are squeaking. People who have not trained their dogs plus those people who have no sense of values will be the worst neighbors you do not want to get. Stay away from this. Another note to share is there is one office personnel N, who once told me that the people who lived above my level was about to send their dogs for training FOR ME! As you all can tell from my story, this property group is all after your money. They do not care much about the quality of your living there. Otherwise they would have sent people for mold testing and removal after I sent in the bathroom ceiling stain pictures when I moved in. By the way, other benefits of living on the bottom floor include having all kinds of bugs coming into your apartment like ants, spiders, flies, mosquitoes, etc. In your patio, you will also get layers of dog hairs and cigaret butts from the people who live above your level. I have way too many photos to post. If you are interested in knowing which unit and specific evidence, please feel free to contact me. Again, stay away from this apartment. They are interested in your money, not the quality of your living there. This one star was given only to the maintenance people.

Thank you for reviewing Quail Cove and recommending our community. Sincerely Quail Cove
This was my first apartment with my husband and I absolutely loved it here...we lived here from 2010-2011 and the property was beautiful. The apartments were very nice (maybe could have used a few updates?) beautiful fireplaces and very large bathrooms. Washer and dryer hookups but there was also laundry in the clubhouse. A pool, gym, hot tub, sauna. Really nice lake to walk around or go fishing.

Friendly apartment with beautiful view of the mountains and lake, lots of room and decent price. staff is friendly and in door hot tub is amazing
We only just moved in but the community here is friendly and helpful! Bedrooms and bathrooms are nice size.- both of our rooms have queen sized beds and there is plenty of space to move around the room. Lots of storage all around the apartment. The appliances could be updated (others may be updated but ours is not). The living area could be bigger. The balcony is nice size and the storage unit is a large open space. The pool, laundry room, workout room, and property is well maintained. Located off the main road - the neighborhood is quiet but close to a lot of amenities. The lake and park is less then a block away and you can fish! I would recommend this place but just make sure to walk through their sample apartment so you know if the space will work or not.
This is a nice place to live! The area is great because it is a walk to Quail Lake. It's about 5 minutes from the interstate and minutes from the movie theater, shopping, and numerous restaurants. The staff is nice and friendly. The grounds are properly kept and look great. It has a nice big pool and a big gym for a good workout. The apartments are nice and cozy. They have a sizable balcony with a big storage.
