Property Ratings at Quail Creek
New owners and new management- moved here because it was quiet and reasonable. If there was an issue, management talked directly, but now its a note or email or text like every other day. It is annoying.

I've lived at Quail Creek for nearly one year now. Very well kept grounds. The maintenance men are very polite. When it was 90 degrees outside, our air conditioner blew out. We called the maintenance men and they came within the hour to examine it. They immediately ordered us a new air conditioner, and paid for it to come in as soon as possible. The management and staff are 5 stars. I had two problems though that stood out to me. The first one was that the walls and windows aren't very sound proof. Now I understand that they won't impenetrable to sound waves, but I would be sitting in my room and people would be talking outside, I am able to hear every syllable. I often times would get woken up by people talking or a leaf blower. The other problem was the size of the bathrooms shower head location and the sink. I am 6 feet tall, so when I take a shower I have to bend over. The shower head is probably at a height of 5'9". The sink is also very short. It doesn't even go to my waist. It's not a handicap unit because it's on the second floor.

The office staff is above and beyond helpful. The ladies are very nice, and always professional. The maintenance supervisor is a great guy. This man goes above what his job duties are, no doubt. I've heard this from my neighbors too, as well as other residents when I was by the office. He's truly a nice man and has been helpful in many ways. The whole staff (I feel) want you to be happy. If you have a problem they waste no time fixing it. The apartment grounds are always clean and well kept. Parking has never a problem and the parking areas are kept clean. All of my neighbors are respectful, friendly and keep the noise down. Like most apartment complexes you can hear your upstairs neighbors. I might have gotten lucky because I seldom hear mine. What I do hear is the wood creak in areas in the celling, but for the age of the buildings they are in good condition. The location is great, your close to everything. I would recommend Quail Creek to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, clean apartment with a lot of amenities and friendly people. Tyler, is hands down the cleanest town I've ever lived in with the kindest people. Quail Creek is another prime example of what Tyler is like. Ya gotta love N.E. Texas and the people that live here.

They will try and charge you to replace all of the carpet in the unit even if it doesn't need to be done. They'll also leave eviction notices on your doorstep if payday and rent falls on a Saturday and your paycheck doesn't clear until Monday. Absolutely greedy.
Lost our home. The family found the apt. Has laundry area, pool, and excercise area. Garbage is never to long between pickups[good in the heat]. Shade and a covered postal box pickup next to office. Packages left at office for pickup if necessary. For older apts. they are in good shape. Maintiance done on regular basis and if problem occurs will be taken care of quickly. Have seen new flooring and carpeting replaced when tenants leave so new tenants have a better apt to move into. One big plus, being able to have a pet.
