Property Ratings at Quail Hollow
Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Red flag number 1 was no deposit. All there was was a pet fee which doesn’t count towards any move out expenses, no big deal. Upon moving out they hit me with a $1230 bill to replace the carpet in the entire apartment. I will add, my dog scratched the carpet in two places and it was obvious but aside from that there was nothing wrong with it. As I’m paying my balance off I get an email telling me I owe an additional $600, they tried to tell me I didn’t pay full rent upon move in even though I’ve paid every single month, no one ever reached out to me and told me I owed anything. BECAUSE I DIDN’T. They didn’t care, she began to poorly explain why I owed this extra money and it wasn’t clicking because it didn’t make sense. It’s almost like she didn’t know herself, she was just going along with it!?! I am very responsible when it comes to paying my bills on time so this really fired me up. After a few “passionate” phone calls I get an email basically saying “Never mind”. All I could think was, what if I didn’t stand up for myself?!? I just got medically retired and I don’t have money to be throwing at them that I don’t owe in the first place, they didn’t seem to care. I don’t Necessarily blame the young woman that works there. She seems to be the only one in the office a lot of the times and I hated having to take out my frustration on her, I don’t believe it’s her fault this happened as she did not work there when I moved in. As long as you’re okay with setting aside some money for Frivolous move out expenses then I guess this place will work. If I could go back I would definitely keep looking.
These properties are not safe for yourself or your service members. Simply put, if you or your service member faces any safety concerns, Quail Hollow will not address it. Aggressive dog breeds, lack of apathy towards service members, leasing issues - this living facility only cares about their bottom dollar and not the well-being of you or your service/family member. Do your research and keep looking!
We loved living here, it is very quiet and safe. Great for families (or anyone). Don’t listen to negative reviews. Upon move in, they fully inform you that you will be required to clean the unit yourself at move out. The reason for this is they charge you next to no deposit (usually used for cleaning in other apartment complexes). You can also hire a cleaning company to tackle cleaning when you move out if you prefer. The units have great storage. The staff is helpful and maintenance needs are dealt with quickly and efficiently. There are lots of grassy areas for pets or kids to play, and they keep the grounds clean and maintained. Move here!!
This property is awesome. The yards look great! The Staff is super nice and helpful! And the inside of the apartments still look new. If you want a great place to live I suggest you move in to Quail Hollow!!! Pearl Abilene, Texas
