Property Ratings at Quail Hollow Apartments
Roaches are everywhere, breezeways are FILTHY. You pay extra every month for amenities that are not accessible. Communication is poor. Move-in for me was a nightmare of disorganization and miscommunication. The complex does not care about their residents at all. Stay far away from here if you can.

Paying way too much to be living in infested roach home.. haven’t had pest control in almost 2 months. I know it’s new management, but that’s no excuse to live this way. Imagine everytime you go cook for your family it’s roaches falling off the ceiling, and crawling behind the stove, and all over the counter while you trying to prepare a meal.. this is ridiculous!!

Broken appliances, mold, ceiling is caving in (after they "fixed" it), broken screens and glass all over the front. If maintenence shows up they don't let you know first. The office doesn't answer the phone EVER. It's been two months we have been trying to get our appliances and the mold fixed, called, emailed and showed up in person but they refuse to come out. Told me they would leave maintenence a note in big letters if i wanted, but it probably wouldn't help. Constant water leak in the road. Been there for months. Awful place, renter beware.

I’ve lived out here almost 2 years. I asked to move to a 3 bedroom apartment. In order to do that you have to pay a transfer fee & bonding fee which is about $800 and a new deposit. I have looked in the lease and see nothing about any of these fees! Whenever I mentioned for that information to be shown to me, I didn’t get an answer. The office staff are nice but it’s hard to get in touch with anyone when you call. I have submitted work orders & called the office for just a battery to be changed in a smoke detector over 2 months now and still haven’t gotten it. The ceiling is beginning to peel and my bathroom tiles are coming out the wall. I submitted a work order and again no one has come…. it’s been over 3 weeks. The pool is always closed, I could probably count on my two hands when it’s open. Other than that, my neighbors are awesome. Very quiet for the most part, the apartments are kind of spacious and the master bathroom is a great size. These apartments are very old and instead of fixing some appliances they should really consider buying new appliances and installing into apartments. The price is over priced for what you are getting technically.

Management is a joke! When I moved here in January, it was perfect! Any issue I had was taken care of right away! I felt wanted and complete. Than here comes new management that makes you feel like your issues are not important! You’ll wait a couple weeks before your issue is addressed!! I called a week ago and told the lady my water wouldn’t turn off and nobody came out or called me back! 2 hours of constant running water and I had to go buy my own tools and fix it on my own. Other than the office staff, I love my apartment. It’s roomy, it’s comfortable, my neighbors are nice and respectful.
Ineffective, unprofessional, revolving management. Out of touch corporate owners. No routine apartment maintenance or cleaning in common building areas. Issues with flooding, mold, mildew, bugs, discourteous residents, excessive dog feces on grounds, etc. Very limited access to ammenties. Inadequate convenient parking. Lipstick on a pig mentality.
I applied for this townhome and my application was denied. I have been waiting for over a month for a refund.I call the office numerous times and I was initially told I would get a phone call when they knew something. A week went by and no call. Dropped by the office and nothing.. Office staff advised that they would check on it and still nothing. The last time I had spoken to someone they advised the check had to be resent out since the initial one was never cashed. no frustrated and tired of getting the run around.. This is bad for business.
We have been in this complex for four months and have had multiple problems from day one. We have had no air for a month, they have lost our lease in the office twice! switched management without letting us know and tried to charge us almost $100 more for rent twice! Do NOT move to this apartment complex unless you want crappy service.
Quiet place to live, however, if you enjoy going to the pool in the summer be prepared for it to be closed A LOT. The past 3 years it seems to be closed and has green water every other week.
I've been in this apartment complex for about 10 months now. Moving from Charleston to Columbia I'm glad I choose this place. They are very welcoming and helpful. The staff is great even maintenance. I would recommend this area to anyone
