Oklahoma City is a thriving city right at the heart of Oklahoma. The city’s thriving economy is complemented by its exciting nightlife and entertainment options. Downtown is home to the Myriad Botanical Gardens and the Oklahoma City Zoo, two extremely popular family-friendly attractions. The Myriad Gardens also include the Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park production at the Water Stage.
The Oklahoma City Thunder has built a dedicated fan base, and things always get pretty wild around the Chesapeake Arena on game days. The arts community is quite active with galleries, museums, theater productions, and a music scene incorporating everything from underground alternative bands to the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
The city has been expanding in recent years, and Oklahoma City proper is much easier to get around with public transportation than most other cities in the region, including rail service.

Property Ratings at Quail Lakes Apartments
The apartments are spacious and updated. The office staff is super friendly and the move in a process was easy!
Great location, very family oriented. Safe place to live.
Everytime i come in with a problem The office ladies are quick to help me out, if they can’t figure it out the assistant manager or Lacey the main manager step right in to fix my issue.Maintenance gets my work orders done in a timely manner, let’s also not forget that we have security that is also fast if they are needed. 10/10 would recommend to my familiars friends.
Apt was dirty and constantly problems with rodent and bugs. Lacy the manager is a terrible excuse for a human being.
Stay away I've been here for a year and a half it's cheap for the area you get what you pay for my car has been broken into had to replace glass and there have been shootings amongst other things. I'm getting ready to leave now my lease ends on the 31st .at the beginning of the month I filled out my 30 day notice online which is my fault because I've had plenty of problems with there online system before so I should have known better. After playing phone tag with the office. I went to see them .apparently now I'm on the hook for another month of rent after my lease and the assistant manager threatened to send my case to claims if I didnt pay and there was nothing anyone could do. So now I'm left with 2 choices dont pay and take the hit to my credit or pay another month somewhere I'm not staying. Save yourself a head ache and find another place to stay.
Looking for an apartment that has horrible management, maggots and leaks? Then this is the place for you! Manager does not care for the tenants and has a horrible attitude. They always say they came and fix things but they never show. (I have cameras so I know when someone has been there) and after I tell them I have cameras then they look into it and tell me they will come 'back' out. Pool is only open during office hours and closed mondays too. They do not fix anything, they care more about cleaning other apartments to get more people in than to fix the issues current residence are having. Our neighbors leave their trash by their front door so we get maggots from them, it took the apartment over a month to send someone to spray. When pest control was supposed to come, they didn't show. Called the office and told them pest control never showed, and was later told that other people also called saying the same. If you want something done, you have to call daily to remind them. There is no communication in the office, when I ask about something being done they don't see it in the computer. I referred my sister here and I regret it BIG time.
I moved in a little less than a month ago and I regret it already. I had to move in quick so some of this is my fault but the unit looks like the unit example apartment on the surface only.Appliances were not the same and of poor quality except for the microwave. Cabinets are all water damaged swollen, discolored and my kitchen counter tops were painted instead of being replaced. several light switches that dont work.parking close to your apartment is a fight everyday. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for housing
Old appliances and managed poorly. Apartment wasn't as move in ready as claimed, nor cleaned all the way.
This is the wonderful building if you want a quick walk to the mall or any restaurants. we have nice staff and it very quite. There is a nice schools all around us. I'm really happy that are fixing everything in the building cause it was time too. Lisha A, Oklahoma city OK
It's not a bad place to live for the price of rent. The exterior of the building needs some remodeling but the inside isn't that bad. Maintenance seems to get things done in a timely manner when needed. Management is friendly. I haven't had any big issues.
Have lived here for 3 years. They keep the complex clean and come whenever I need some maintenance done. The only reason why I gave it a 4 is because they tore down the pool and it looks horrible. I also wish they would replace the picnic tables in the back and take down the dead trees.
Since these apartments are on the line that seperates edmond and okc the rent is very reasonable. The apartments are older but they are spacious and comfortable. The rent is cheaper here than most places anywhere near edmond. The only down side to the area is the traffic. You really never hear it in the complex but trying to get out is a problem and even worse during the holidays. I dont blame the management for this because it cant be helped. I have lived here for 3 years and plan to stay on a bit longer. Its in edmond schools and my kids love it here.
Pros: Cost: The apartments are well priced. Even when you add in extras like washer and dryer, and covered parking, the apartments are affordable. Staff: The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They are available during business hours and respond quickly to messages left after hours. I have never found them to be rude or discourteous. The complex manager is available if needed and is professional and friendly. Atmosphere: The complex is quiet and seems safe. I have never had any issues with loud neighbors, late parties, or people hanging out in the parking lots. There have not been any issues with crime during my time, that I am aware of. I haven't even had issues with people parking in my paid for covered parking spot, which I honestly thought I would. Apartments: The units are large and come with good amenities. Some like mine have fireplaces. Dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and garbage disposal are all included. My unit also had brand new carpet when I moved in and the counters and wood floors have recently been redone. Cons: Age: The complex is old, and while management is obviously working to update it, it has a lot of the problems you would expect with old buildings. For instance, my air conditioner has not worked adequately all summer. The unit runs, but it doesn't keep up with the heat. I'm running 200 dollar electric bills and still sweating in a 85 plus degree apartment. Maintenance has been out 5 or 6 times, but nothing has changed. I will say though, maintenance and management has been attentive to the problem, have come within 24 hours every time I have called, and have installed additional ceiling fans and a window unit to try to help with the heat. Grounds: as with a lot of complexes, the grounds do get ignored sometimes, especially in areas that people don't go in regularly. Trash builds up and doesn't get cleaned up regularly. There are several areas where the cement on sidewalks is cracked and uneven so water pools when it rains, and then mud and dirt are left when it dries. Grass does appear to get mowed regularly and kept up. All in all this is not a bad complex, especially if budget is high on your list of concerns. It has worked well for me, but my financial situation has changed so I will probably be moving somewhere a little nicer (newer), though more expensive, when my lease is up. Definitely consider Quail Lakes, just remember you do get what you pay for.
