Property Ratings at Quail Ridge
I moved from Jersey City and looks like i made bad decision by choosing this community. Ania is good and helped me on moving in but maintainance team is horrible. everything is broken in apartment and maintainance team is not helping on anything. i have Dryer broken from date i moved in. i have readed out to everyone at all level but no help. Toilet is leaking, broken closet doors, AC is not working , windows screens are broken and they wont help you. i would say STAY AWAY.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Our experience was horrible! Mold from toilet leaking from apartment above on ceiling for months. Washer broke twice, HVAC unit leaked also causing mold. Overall, looks like a nice place when you move in until you are there for a while, slowly falls apart. I wish I had read these reviews before deciding to let my college student live in this disgusting place!!! Please all potential renters, take these bad reviews seriously!!!
Not worth it. The apartments are expensive. The area smells like trash. There are houseflies in summer. The management is really rude! Appliances are old. Don't waste your money. It's not worth it. This my honest review! Wish someone had told me before I leased.
Ania was such a great help from the start!! From me looking for a potential apartment, to putting in the application, signing the lease, eventually moving in. She’s been amazing throughout the whole process and made it so smooth and easy for me. The management has been very active as well, sending out reminders once in a while. In terms of the apartment itself, it’s nothing fancy considering it’s build in 1989 I believe. Some reviews have complained that they weren’t like how they looked in the photos. Fair. But I could tell that the management has tried their best to fix and renovate a little. The walls were freshly painted and I could tell that they replaced a new toilet in my unit. Everything was passably clean on my move-in day - I didn’t have to clean too much myself. Overall, don’t set your expectations too high for this price range in the Princeton area. But for me personally, I’m satisfied overall so far - haven’t lived here for too long yet.
Management is active, sends emails, makes phone calls, etc. Maintenance is very timely (always within a few days in my experience). Grass and brushes are maintained. Nothing too special but I find it quite beautiful. Residents seems to really care and are respectful. Wonderful community.
The neighborhood is very quiet, Anya in the office is fantastic but what they advertise and what you get is very misleading. this complex needs an upgrade very outdated the walls are super thin. I can literal hear my neighbor under me snore. the gym is very small and most of the equipment is out of order. don't be fooled by the photos the units do not look the same as advertised.
Very beautiful and safe community to stay. I am living here from past 4 years and everything is so good. Quail Ridge management always makes sure that all the issues are addressed properly. So happy to be part of Quail Ridge Community ????
Many of the buildings and amenities are quite dated, but considering the price point, it was an overall very pleasant place to live. Maintenance requests were always responded to promptly, and the staff were always helpful. I am glad I found this place.
Overall, a very good place to live. Safe, quiet, and nice area.
Very lively community and close to everything like Metro, bus to NY, groceries, restaurants and certainly recommend for the people who has kids
Ania was very helpful in finding an apartment that worked for me and providing support throughout the move-in process. I'm very happy with how smooth the process was and looking forward to living in the complex!
We moved into our apartment at Quail Ridge about a month ago and it has been fantastic since. In our last apartment, we dealt with toxic neighbors living below us and had to get out ASAP. After reaching out to multiple apartment complexes, Ania was our saving grace. From start to finish, Ania helped us find the best apartment at the best price, and was so helpful and responsive. She answered any questions we had, and kept us up to date on any changes or any information we needed to submit. Since living here, the maintenance crew has been great with snow removal, and they just had all of the landscaping allotments redone. Our neighbors are quiet and respectful, and its a very peaceful community to live in.

Hi! We are incredibly grateful that you took the time out to leave such a kind note about Ania. Our company values and puts customer satisfaction as a top priority and we are committed to our customers. It is customers like you that make our job wonderful. We will be sure to share this review with her and the rest of the Quail Ridge team! Thank you again for letting us know.
Leasing agents sell prospective tenants on “renovated” units, but the actual apartments are outdated, smelly, moldy, with appliances that barely work. The walls are so thin you can not only hear your neighbors, but you can also SMELL everything that is coming from their units. There are loud groups of children that start screaming and running around the entire complex, starting as early as 9 am with no supervision all day long. The dumpsters are always overflowing, so trash and waste ends up all over the parking lot. My unit’s drains and sinks were constantly clogged, especially in the kitchen. Dirty water backed up into my dishwasher causing the entire place to smell like rotten eggs, and maintenance did NOTHING. Quail Ridge apartments are glorified dorm rooms, but that might be too high of a comparison. PLEASE take your $$ elsewhere, what they offer online is nothing like the actual space, you will regret it.

Dear Susanna, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry your experience at our community didn’t meet your expectations. We take our customers feedback seriously and work on doing better in the future. Please feel free reach out to the management office at 609-799-5727 with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. Thank you for being the best part of our community.
This is your warning! They sell you on beautiful, renovated apartments but once you move in you realize everything has been done the cheapest possible way. Disgusting living conditions, dog poop and trash everywhere. Pay an amenity fee and no amenities offered. Pool and gym closed most of last year but they pocket our money anyway. In winter, they do the most minimal job plowing leaving black ice for up to a week after it snows. Children are loud and have 0 respect for others apartments. Running, screaming, sitting outside your door/sliding door, throwing balls at your windows. Parents just watch. Bikes left everywhere. Management rude and unhelpful. We’ve been in a pandemic and they have done the bare minimum for their tenants. Constantly having things break in the apartment and Maitenence takes weeks to come. Then when they do they tell you to live with whatever’s broken. Walls paper thin, black mold when we moved in, the apartment was left dirty, trash in cupboards. Save your money. These are over priced and not worth it by any means.
Had stayed in Quail ridge community more than a year and never faced any issues with maintenance service offered by management as they are very prompt in addressing it The community is really cool and enjoyed my stay with family
Quail Ridge apartments is a clean, quiet and safe neighborhood. It's family friendly and green. They could do some improvement on the parking lots and add some sidewalks since many people go for walks with kids or jog. When it rains, it's a bit challenging to navigate the parking lots. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay
The staff is so rude! I can't believe they let people who are that rude work at a place that is supposed to be your home. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. When you call they don't answer and when they do it's with the worst attitude. I have even gotten hang up on and I could hear the guy that I was talking to say "ugh are you almost done?" then hang up. KEEP OFF THIS PLACE DO NOT RENT HERE!
I moved to Quail Ridge 5 1/2 years ago & it was the BEST place I ever chose. Only reason I’m moving, my daughters need their own bedrooms. Kudos to Joe and his maintenance team, Howard and Eric are the BEST!! They are professional, very nice, helpful and they always get the job done!! No complaints at All. Kathy, Amy and Kate are AWESOME and helpful!! I will miss you all. Thank you sooo much for a WONDERFUL stay!! ??
I’ll list off our past experience living here. Moved recently. -Black mold covered toilet when moved in and we had to clean it ourselves -AC unit leaking onto water heater -Dryer filled with curry smell from previous renters -Spare rib bones found in hallway light from previous owners or Quail Ridge staff -Shards of glass found in dishwasher -Doors and windows not properly or well insulated -Loud and noisy inconsiderate neighbors -Kids run around everywhere. Kids can be kids but these children are the absolute worst. -Slow maintenance due to high unit count -Garbage in middle of parking lot. If you buy a unit facing the lot then the trucks will wake you up at 5 every Monday. Also, renters do not shut the garbage lids, causing a smell to look over the direct area. -Breezeways are never clean and cleared of junk. -MORE ON THE KIDS... they leave their toys and bikes everywhere. Management never did anything about it. Very annoying. -Walls are thinner than a piece of paper. You can hear everything your neighbor is doing. -Wiring isn’t in the walls. Wires are run on the exterior of the wall and simply painted over. -No sprinklers or fire extinguishers given at purchase. -Smoke detectors aren’t even in the kitchen -Air vents filled with dust and probably mold -Terrible paint and patch work job on unit walls. Completely lackadaisical and half-attempted. -Moving in - hampered by extremely ill placed walls at the front door. Don’t bring any large or over sized furniture. -If you have a back deck then you better hope that it doesn’t collapse. Ours was half hanging on the building and the nails were separating from the wood. -Older units don’t have an accurate thermostat. You have to get an indoor thermostat to properly see what the indoor temperature is. -Not all the rooms properly insulate or cool of from heat. Uneven temperatures. -As I said, windows aren’t well insulated at all. I hope you like the heat and cold. -Did I mention the packs of kids and obnoxiously loud neighbors? There’s a lot more. The only plus is the Caddyshack on the golf course, for those who like a small but great local bar, next door and accessibility to the Turnpike and RT’s 1 & 130. This place is the worst. Don’t move here. Don’t move to any of the apartment complexes in Plainsboro. Stay far, far, far, faaar away.
Pro: Great area to live. The crime rate is extremely low compared with other parts of New Jersey. Had an issue with our dishwasher and I called the 24hr maintenance phone number. Within two days they had repaired it. Multiple pools and tennis courts. Situated between US-1 and 130. Perfect for taking the Turnpike or I-95. Con: Front office staff can be a little difficult to get a hold of.
Moving to NJ was a giant step in my life. Moving into Quail Ridge was so simple and easy. There were many different styles of apartments to choose from and we were able to find the one that fit our needs. Besides a few mechanical issues that were taken care of in a timely fashion upon us moving in, I truly have found living at Quail Ridge a pleasant surprise. Our neighbors are friendly and quiet and there are plenty amenities for everyone. Nearby shops and restaurants make Quail Ridge a prime location.
My husband and I have lived at Quail Ridge for almost 4 years and each year things get better and better. Everything about this complex is wonderful and when the day comes that we move out, it will be a very sad day. Keep up the great work Quail Ridge!!!
After a very draining and extensive search for the perfect apartment, I finally arrived to the answer I was looking for. Quail Ridge offers more than expected! The complex is quiet and mellow. Being a single young person, it is extremely difficult to find an apartment that is (jersey) affordable and NOT in a ghetto. For the right price and all the amenities they have to offer, I feel this is the best bang for your buck! HIGHLY recommend, even to just check out!
I have lived at Quail Ridge for almost a year now and I'm comfortable with commenting on my community. When I first started the process of looking for a new apartment due to my transition with work, I looked at each community in Plainsboro... and I am very happy with the decision I made. I have had minor issues with the maintenance department but nothing major.... The office staff has always been very helpful. Overall my experience has been positive and I will recommend Quail Ridge to anyone who is looking to move into a well-kept, community oriented environment.

Hello. Which floor is your apartment? How's the noise level if you have neighbors upstairs? THANK YOU
The staff are very rude. They won't answer your questions or address your concerns once you move in-- you are on your own. If you have a noisy neighbor, then good luck to you and no one in the office will care.
