Located in Central Washington, the city of Yakima is both peaceful and quaint just 60 miles southeast of Mount Rainer. It’s located inside the Yakima Valley, which is noted for its abundance of apples, hops, and wineries. Locals are afforded many award-winning wines in Yakima, the heart of Washington Wine Country.
The area’s economy is mostly fueled by agriculture. Yakima Valley produces a lot of hops for beer production, making it one hoppy city. Residents look forward to satisfying their shopping needs at Valley Mall. The Casino Caribbean is right down the road from the Yakima Speedway, a popular attraction. In addition to multiple neighborhood parks, the city encompasses a local arboretum which has overflowing gardens, natural greenery, and large trees.
The Yakima Valley Museum houses an extraordinary exhibit full of native artifacts, relics of early settlement life, plus a 1930s Art Deco soda fountain. It’s off Tieton Drive in front of Franklin Park.

Property Ratings at Quail Ridge
Poor insulation, traffic is insanely loud because the windows are not insulated, people race up and down the street with their cut off mufflers, neighbors will literally put a speaker on their front porch at night and blast it, their kids run around screaming until 2 am, there's handprints on the windows from the neighbors children running up and trying to peep inside, neighbors will let their dogs out in the shared back yard area and they will poop on your patio, they have tow trucks come at 8 am to tow cars in the parking lot which is also loud, the sprinklers are broken and spray everywhere including onto the front door so you always get soaked if you come home after 10pm or leave before 7am, the sprinklers flood the lawn and parking lot so you're always stepping into a puddle, management doesn't respond for weeks at a time, very shabby and expensive for how poorly constructed the buildings are. Ventilation is awful and the heater/air conditioner don't work upstairs. Good to start if you can't get an apartment anywhere else or if you don't care about it being loud and shabby
Reasonable rent, allows pets, park like, AWESOME STAFF! Especially Gabe!
So I've been living here since 2011. Everything is in walking distance & also a bus line is right on the main road. Very convenient. Almost all the 2 bedrms are town homes, so you don't have noisey neighbors above or below you. Well maintained & the staff here is very helpful. We don't plan on moving anytime soon.
