Property Ratings at QUAIL RUN
I was approved for a 3 bedroom and getting ready to move before they told me I couldnt. All because I worked 4 hours extra a week at work. Very dissappointed
Hi all ! Currently live here @ the quail. Maintenance - doesn’t work on the weekends.. don’t bother trying. Leasing staff - revolving door. Hire / people like candy. Living conditions - I’ve lived in several different areas, I’ve never seen a place worse than this. Ever. Want peace & quiet ? Not going to happen. You’ll hear consistent sounds all around you .. as in the place isn’t sound proof at all. After being here only a few months, I’ve wanted nothing MORE than my lease to be over. Huge mistake.
Very difficult to get a hold of management for absolutely anything and the apartments themselves are so dingy, there's constantly unpleasant odors and no matter what you do you can't get it out of your apartment. They waited until the very last minute before we actually moved in to paint and fill holes, it was a red flag at the initial showing with the scuffed up walls and dirt. If you decide to make the poor choice and live here make sure you clean it out before you move stuff in, they didn't make any effort there. The neighbors alone make the place unlivable, the cops know the address well due to the amount of domestic disturbance calls.
Property Manager at QUAIL RUN, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review. When I reached out to your property manager, she made clear that these concerns were not brought to her. She is dedicated to mitigating and correcting any issues a resident might have; however, in order to do so, she needs to hear from the resident. She will not even show an apartment unless it is rent ready and says that she most certainly has not moved anyone in with scuffs on the walls. Regarding your move-in experience, please know that the apartment turn is often not complete until the resident is ready to move in. We have to wait for the current resident to vacate before we can complete all of the cleaning, fixing, and refreshing that must be done for the new resident. The manager has only been employed here since May, but in her time here, there has been one - not several - calls to the police regarding a resident. Please be sure to reach out to the manager when you have a concern so that she can correct it. She cannot address your complaint unless you bring it to her. And she is more than happy to do so - providing you with an apartment home in which you are comfortable is her job, and she wants to ensure your satisfaction. Thank you again.
Although it appears better than most in Van Wert, still far from good. We had various problems even getting the lease signed from them not getting the paperwork together and approving us to sign until the move in date. Going in there were high hopes until the first month or so we heard vicious fighting and were worried for the children living there and called the police...for the first time. There were two or three more times for calling the police and on different neighbors as well. The laundry room was community and multiple times we would walk down for our clothes and see various different neighbors going through them. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend anyone lives here that isn't already white trash or a deadbeat that doesn't shower or work.

Thank you for calling your concerns to our attention. I reached out to your property manager, who just took over in May; she indicated that, as long as she has been there, there has been one incident of a tenant calling the police regarding another tenant. As unfortunate as it is that an individual neighbor caused an incident, we would hope that this would not be the reflection of an apartment development as a whole. While it is certainly disappointing to read that you observed residents examining other residents' articles in the laundry room, that is a matter of, again, an individual's lack of respect for his or her neighbors. That personal behavior is not positive for the overall community and certainly needs to be brought to the property manager's attention. I took your complaint posted here and shared it with her so that she can remind any residents who may have examined others' laundry that that is unacceptable. She has fielded several compliments from residents, and these concerns you've shared online are new to her. She is committed to providing her residents with a 5-star experience but needs to hear from you when you have a question, concern, or suggestion for improvement. Please do contact her next time you have an issue, and she would be delighted to address it and work to ensure your satisfaction. Thank you!
