An hour northwest of Minneapolis on Interstate 94, Saint Cloud is a charming small city on the banks of the Mississippi River. Saint Cloud State University is central to the community, both literally and figuratively: in addition to the 15,000 students enrolled, the university is one of the city’s biggest employers, and a dedicated fan base supports the school’s hockey program (the legendary Herb Brooks coached the Huskies back in the 1980s and his name now graces the Saint Cloud State hockey arena).
Just north of campus, Downtown is a charming riverside district with a strip of restaurants, bars, galleries, and performance venues along St. Germain Street. The city is home to over ninety public parks, ensuring that you’re never more than a few blocks from trails, lakes, and relaxing green spaces. For weekend excursions into the great outdoors, Saint Cloud is only a short drive away from Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge and Mille Lacs Lake.

We all have people, things, or places that irk us. I always keep my mind open. I love my apartment, it's spacious, clean, has working utilities and I have a good balcony for musing too.
Property Manager at Quarry Commons, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We are glad to hear that you have had a positive experience with us at Quarry Commons. Please feel free to reach out in the future if you ever need anything from us!
Lived here now for a few years. The neighbors are really friendly and always willing to help out if you need something. The grounds and building itself are very well attended, unlike some buildings in St Cloud. The litter is quickly cleaned up, and the parking lot is kept clean. The building itself is cleaned well and often, the carpets cleaned regularly. The apts themselves are spacious, (I have a 2 bedroom), and the maintenance personell does a great job of addressing issues as soon as humanly possible. He is very efficient and can fix most anything on site. But what truly sets Quarry Commons apart from all the rest in St Cloud is the manager, Aliene. She is always here, long before the office opens and she is here long after it is supposed to close. She handles everything in a professional manner, but knows most of us by first name and really gets to know you. She is always greeting people with a smile and a "how you doing today?", then she takes the time to really listen to the person talk. Aliene is so patient with the tenants and does her best to give everyone her full attention. Trust me when I say that this is rare for an apt manager. I would definitely recommend Quarry Commons.
I have lived here since 2015. I love to live here. I have moved to 3 different apartments in the complex. I don't want to ever leave. Prices are fair, the apartments are great. Aliene is the best manager I have ever had and is great to help and makes it good to live here, she talks to us and cares about all of us. Doug is fantastic and the best maintenance ever, he is quick and knows how to fix anything. I have been at 8 different places since I came to this country. Yasin Hussein
Great Apartments!! Great Office Mgmt!!! Maintenance is great!!! Reasonable Prices and great location. Very comparable to other apartments.
Me and three other friends lived here for about 6 months and could not stand it any longer. The building common areas (stairwells/hallways/entrances) were always trashed and smelly. Residents would leave garbage bags in the hallways for days and let their kids run up and down the hallways at all hours of the day and night. The lock on the main entrance of our building was always busted off and it would take maintenance over a week to come and get it fixed so that the building could be secured from non-residents. It would only be a few days before someone would re-bust the lock and latch again. That was the main reason we left; The building felt unsafe. The apartment itself was really nice and maintained well, big spacious closets and living space, but the bathroom sinks and showers were constantly clogged. We also welcomed in new management during our short stay here, and they were so rude and pushy. We had one month were the office manager charged my account twice for rent and would not refund me, instead said that it would carry over into the next month.. Talk about an overdraft fee! Very rude and inconsiderate and I would not recommend. The list could go on and on.. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this neighborhood.
I moved in , in a rush so there was noo time to be picky but isn't good place. The apartments are great and I love the fact of the big closet , is aweful because of the neighboors...
