This property is intended and operated for occupancy by students, faculty and staff in higher education, but applications from individuals not involved in higher education may be accepted.
Encompassing the entire west side of Florida State University, the University neighborhood consists of several smaller neighborhoods, like Amelia Circle, Elberta Empire, and Mabry Manor. The neighborhood stretches from just north of Highway 90 south toward Seminole Golf Course and Club. Because it is so close to campus, University consists of a variety of housing -- ranch-style houses, townhomes, apartment communities, and student housing developments help make this eclectic area even more interesting. Mature trees shade the streets, and residential areas with cul-de-sacs create a suburban feel to this downtown neighborhood. Residents enjoy proximity to Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium, home of the Seminoles football team.

Property Ratings at Quarters Tallahassee
The property is safe (gated) and well cared for. The management and staff are always friendly, courteous and willing to lend a helping hand to ensure that each one of the residents (and their parents) needs are met. If a concern arises they are always available to listen, care, and offer solutions. My daughters first roommates were not “a good fit” thru no fault of the property whatsoever-the kind, caring, compassionate way the situation was handled is something I will never forget. They didn’t HAVE to help her find a solution-but they DID. My son waited until the very last day of a renewal offer to forward me the email. I saw it after 5pm. I frantically emailed Mary Jo (property manager). She responded AFTER HOURS ON A FRIDAY NIGHT and helped me do all of the paperwork to ensure we got the best deal possible on his renewal. She did this ON HER OWN TIME from home…because she cared enough to want to help. My daughter switched post grad plans causing her to need 2 pre-req classes that would require her to remain at FSU 1 semester more than we planned. Hayden & Mary Jo worked tirelessly going over every option available to ensure that my daughter would have seamless housing for the extra semester-not because they had to-BUT BECAUSE THEY CARED ENOUGH TO WANT TO HELP! They answered all of our questions about what the best options would be for her…and the most economical way to go about doing it. The above examples are priceless to me. Knowing that my kids are in a safe, clean, friendly environment while so far away from home is a comfort. People like Mary Jo and Hayden are a big part of the reason why both of my Noles have been residents at this property their entire time at FSU. It’s not located right on top of campus like some of the new highrise apartments-BUT it’s close enough that they can get there in 5 min. My son and his friends walk to football games most of the time. It’s right next to Publix and close to shopping and restaurants. They don’t charge for parking-and this property has more parking than any other complex I’ve seen. The price is reasonable compared to what some of the other complexes charge. They offer a lot more than most of the others as well. The common areas and amenities offered are plentiful. Management and staff always have fun events going on for the residents. The atmosphere in the office is warm and friendly…and welcoming! Thank You to The Quarters and especially Mary Jo and Hayden for all that you do!
The quarters at Tallahassee is a great place to live!! Having my son away from home at college is tough but the office staff especially Kolton made this move a great and positive experience for us!! Highly recommended!!! Monique
Let me start off by saying the best part about living at players is the maintenance staff. Marty and his team are responsive to requests and are always willing to open the ac closet to fish out all the cat toys the cats have shoved in there. As for my issues with Players club. I lived there for 2 years and my first year had very little problems. Besides the odd noise complaint or maintenance request, pretty smooth sailing. The issues happened after I resigned for a second year. Bajas in the strip mall right next door decided to start having concerts again that go until 4am most weekend nights. There is also constantly people in the parking lots across the street blasting their car speakers and drag racing up and down Pensacola. I know the complex can’t change it’s location, but if you value sleep, pick an apartment with less nightly noise or buy good earplugs. My other issue with players club is the office staff. About a year ago the property managers changed and that’s when things started to change. Staff turnover is high. It is full of college students who look bothered when you go to pick up a package and you are taking away from them face timing friends. The staff is also careless with fees, giving you fees before checking your file to make sure it's accurate. The office staff doesn’t know what an emergency is. We had our door lock batteries die on a Friday night. We called the on call number to put in a request to have someone come fix it. They said it wasn’t an emergency and to put in a maintenance request and they would get to it on Monday. I’m sorry what? Two single women living in an apartment over the weekend with a door that does not lock? Absolutely not. The only reason it got fixed on Sunday was because Marty came in to check emails on his weekend and saw our request. There are a few other constant little problems that just bothered me about the place. The gate does not work and you will end up having to call yourself every night. The elevator is constantly broken. There is a complete disrespect for the property by other residents. Overall, the price they are charging, it’s not a nice as the pretty granite countertops make it seem.

Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.
i’m honestly a big fan of the speed that management handles all issues and how close it is to campus. players club really makes it worth the price which is something i was looking for coming in my freshman year. residents (mainly students) keep to themselves and it’s overall very quiet, occasional pool parties when the weather allows it but nothing major. extremely convenient also that we’re next to a publix. overall i would definitely recommend players club to students

Everything is pretty new. The only concern I have is that they do have cockroaches in the balconies so that’s not great. However, it’s a pretty good option.

If I was on my death bed and the one thing that could save me was living in a Greystar Property, I would choose the former. I’ve lived in Tallahassee for six years and this is BY FAR the worst apartment complex I’ve ever signed at. The management team is unpleasant, disinterested, and incompetent. When you have to deal with an issue (and trust me, you will) their go-to line is “we’ll look into it and give you a call back”. Do you think they do either of those things? Nope, never. Here are just a few of the issues we dealt with (writing all of them out would be a novel): - The elevator is constantly broken. Most recently during move-out, which left residents on the top floors stagnate. The staff was notified on Friday morning, during the elevator company’s operating hours. However, the staff failed to notify the maintenance team or elevator company. As a result, it was still broken on Saturday and we were informed that we would have to wait until business hours on Monday for the elevator company to be sent out. As a side note, the elevator certification displayed expired six months ago. - During our five months at the apartment, the A/C broke a total of five times. The first time was during the heat of August on a Friday literally one week after moving in. We were told it was not an emergency and that maintenance would come to take a look on Monday. The heat was unbearable and we were forced to pay for a hotel until it was fixed several days later. - We were informed upon signing that we would rarely pay for utilities given that there is a $30 monthly credit. Please don’t let this fool you. We were hit with a nearly $80 bill (per roommate) each month. We immediately addressed this with the Assistant Manager, Adrienne, who said she would “look into it”. When she failed to do so, we contacted the manager, Mary Jo who finally authorized an audit. Come to find out that there are issues with our A/C unit that no one can seem to identify. This apartment is only two years old and yet there are countless issues with the bones, which just goes to show how poorly it was made. - If you like to sleep, this is not the place for you! We didn’t realize upon signing, but the complex backs up directly to Bajas Nightclub. Music will literally shake your window until 3 am most nights. If I can give you one piece of advice during your apartment hunt, it’s please do not live at Player’s Club. It’s not worth the sleepless nights, constant stress, and hidden fees/charges

We appreciate the time you took out of your day to write this review. We apologize for any negative experience you may have had while living with us at Players Club apartments. We have always maintained proper documentation for our elevators as required by law but as machines, they are unfortunately prone to error. Additionally, utilities will vary from apartment to apartment based on how many people occupy the unit and the amount of energy being consumed on a monthly basis. Please feel free to reach out to us personally at playersclublmm@greystar.com to resolve or explain any current issue you may have.
Players Club has been so outstanding! The staff make you feel at home. They're nothing but nice, friendly, and welcoming. If there ever is an issue, which there rarely is, the maintenance has always handled it in less than a week. The fact that we have a gated community made me feel completely safe moving in on my own. Beyond the gates, we have emergency calling too. The ammenities are amazing since we have saunas, a huge yoga room, pool, and study room (all of which I''m frequently at). They even have monthly events to go to and socialize with. Everyone here tries so hard to do their best for you and it shows. Beyond the apartment and staff, it's also great that publix is right next to us and we have bus stops right across from us for school. All in all, I'm thrilled I renewed and can't wait for this upcoming year.
Great place to live with a handful of amenities to enjoy.
Very very friendly staff, super close to campus, walk to publix. dunkin is perfectly on the way to campus!love everything
