The Antelope Valley region sits in the northernmost stretches of Los Angeles County. Antelope Valley also constitutes the western portion of the Mojave Desert, located between the Tehachapi, Sierra Pelona, and San Gabriel Mountains, which all lend stunning mountain vistas to the rentals in the region.
Antelope Valley’s largest cities include Lancaster and Palmdale, in addition to a slew of smaller cities and towns that each boast their own unique identity and sense of character. The region’s more affordable cost of living draws plenty of Los Angeles area commuters who don’t mind a longer commute time.
The rental options are just as diverse as the region itself, with an array of apartments, condos, townhomes, and houses available for rent throughout Antelope Valley. Popular spots for outdoor recreation include Angeles National Forest and Castaic Lake State Recreation Area, as well as Greater Los Angeles’ renowned beaches, which are about a two-hour drive away.

Property Ratings at Racquet Club Apartments
Cons of living here: Gate is always broken. Trash is always overflowing. Mailboxes always broken or broken into. Cars getting broken into constantly. Never security footage available when needed for authorities or insurance companies as their security surveillance is terrible. Staff is delayed in responding to maintenance requests, you have to literally go to the office yourself to ask what is going on with minor repairs! Not allowed to have any size grill on patio. Not allowed to have plants hanging or plant hangers. Staff is almost always not in the office during listed business hours or in the office with the door locked with prospective tenants standing outside reading the hours sign and appear irritated. Apartments are run down as they only paint over the rusted hinges and outdated cabinetry. Dog poop everywhere. Homeless inside of "secure" Property. Laundry washers are out of order frequently Hot water maintenance occurring a lot without timely notice. Hot tub doesn't heat up and is always dirty. Flooring is poor quality. Rent is raised spontaneously without a 30-day notice. Pros: Close to freeway and shopping centers. Close to hospital

Office staff communication to the residents is terrible. Water is shut off after inaccurate messaging to residents. Mail boxes are broken into and destroyed with no plan or communications to residents as to what is going to be done to repair them. Security is terrible. Front gates are damaged and do not close. Packages are stolen from property. When asked about any of these items front office staff seems as if you are bothering them. If you are looking for high rent and poor service and communication this is your place.

11 minutes ago I've lived here about 8 years and one of the things that attracted me to this place was the fact that my unit has a washer and dryer inside of it. Well I was just notified that after all these years, supposedly they don't have to right permits for the washer and dryer to be in the unit, so all washer and dryers are getting pulled out . And a $75 rent reduction is supposed to be sufficient. The car port lights dont work and haven't in about a year or more. The lights in the back of the complex don't work either. The upstairs bathroom grows mold and mildew on the walls and ceiling due to the moisture from showering, even when you run the fan. Last year my rent got raised over $300 and when I asked why, I was told the owners want everyone to pay the same rent. Well, my neighbors have the same non upgraded apartment as me and their rent is way lower than mine. I'm paying for an upgraded apartment with no upgrades. They're slow at repairing things and some things in my apartment I bought the items and my son repaired it and other things have never been repaired. I'm wondering what's going to be taken out of the apartments next....the dishwasher? The downstairs toilet? I I wouldn't recommend moving here . When I first moved in I would, but now? NO.
First I would like to say thank you to the staff in the office of Racquet Club Apartments. They were very kind and nice it was very helpful during this transition I waited for a while to do this review I'm a mother and family oriented the building she should be a project quiet community worthy of raising a child I do appreciate the complex I live in Sure Staff in the maintenance in the structure in which they run the Racquet Club Apartments how's that we feel safe for that we thank you Racquet Club Apartments and staff

Thank you so much for the great review! We are so glad you enjoy living at Racquet Club Apartments! I hope you have an amazing day!
The apartments were great, pretty spacious in each bedroom. Lots of cabinet space in the kitchen as well. The only thing that was not okay was the water was off everyday. Sometimes they would turn the water off without notice & I could be in mid shower.

We are so happy to hear you like the cabinet space and our spacious apartments. Yet, I am sorry about the water issue we had at the property. It was necessary for us to turn the water off due to plumbing maintenance we were performing on the property. I hope your overall experience at Racquet Club was good and I hope you have a great day!
We love it so much that we moved and then came back! Our apartment is so cute! And the complex is so quiet. The staff is friendly, and they act fast when something needs to be repaired
