Spacious houses sitting on sprawling tracts of land with meticulously landscaped grounds characterize the Philadelphia Main Line, one of the most sought-after regions in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Main Line in Delaware County encompasses the northern part of the neighborhood around Newtown Square, about five miles west of Downtown Philadelphia. Renters have options of modern apartments and Colonial-style homes.
Commuters appreciate the easy transportation offered by this neighborhood. Interstate 476 runs along the western edge of town while SEPTA and Amtrak lines provide mass transit. For shopping and dining within the neighborhood, West Chester Pike is the place to be. Retail centers filled with hotels, restaurants, and shops round out the modern amenities within town.

Property Ratings at Radcliff House
Thanks for everything. I enjoyed my time at Radcliff. The apartment was in an ideal location for city and suburb access. Parking was never a problem and the crew was always so prompt in removing any snow/ice that it made getting to work less of a hassle than it would have been otherwise. Please extend my thanks to the office staff and maintenance crew at Radcliff, especially Steven. They always addressed my inquiries quickly and efficiently. When living in an apartment there are some things, as a tenant, that are just out of my hands. I am grateful that I could rely on others to address those needs. That is a difficult find in apartment living.
Property Manager at Radcliff House, Responded To This Review
Hello! Thank you so much for your 5 star review. At Radcliff House we strive to make each of our residents experience exceptional and we are more than happy that this was the case for you. We will be sure to pass your kind regards along to the maintenance staff and the leasing staff!
I lived here for the last 6 years, and am so sad to leave! Anytime I had a maintenance issue it was quickly resolved, Steve and Bruce are the best! Loved having the washer and dryer in my kitchen, granite counter tops, hardwood floors, and tons of closet space- I will certainly miss my walk-in closet. Management is A and there is nothing negative to say about living here.
Radcliff House is located within walking distance of many shops on County Line Road and Lancaster Avenue -- such as CVS, MOMs Organic Food Market, Farmer's Market at Rosemont Mall, a cleaners, pizzeria and Ho Choi Chinese Restaurant. The Post Office, Ludington Library and Bryn Mawr Film Institute are a little farther but are accessible by foot or car. Radcliff House is right next to the Norristown high-speed line, and is within walking distance of the bus on Lancaster Avenue and the train that can take you into Center City Philadelphia or west to Paoli. If you have a car, you get your own numbered parking space, which is helpful because you can always count on having a parking space for your car. The management strictly enforces this policy, which is to the benefit of the tenant (in most cases). Management is on premises in the office Monday through Friday. The Maintenance staff has always responded quickly to problems -- usually same day or at least next day. The Maintenance staff is friendly and easy-going. I give the Maintenance guys high grades.
Our stay at Radcliff House has been a very comfortable experience due to numerous reasons. First and foremost, the neighborhood is quite and safe to go around. For people, who have just moved into the country like us and do not have a car, this place is ideal as there is easy access to the train station and stores. The apartments are very spacious for the rental price they are offered at. The staff (both management and maintenance) that looks after the apartments are very helpful in solving all the issues we have. They take very good care of the common public area and keep it very clean. The unique thing I have observed about Radcliff House is that it is preferred by very young and very old people at the same time, which is a testimony to the fact that everyone likes it in some way or the other. Additionally, the apartment sits in an area, which has many amenities like hospitals, food joints, etc. To top it all, the surrounding landscape gives a very green and rich ambience to the apartment complex (at least in the summer :))
Radcliff House is in a great location. It is very easy to get to central Philadelphia; and , it is in the heart of the Main Line. The setting is pastoral, even thoiugh it is in the heart of Bryn Mawr. Maintainence is terrific and the personnel are friendly. The apartments are spacious and well maintained. Radcliff House is of great value for the money.
Radcliffe House is the answer to your peaceful suburban living. It is located close to many convenient places such as CVS, McDonalds, Acme, Starbucks, Rosemont train stations, Bryn Mawr train stations, Roberts Rd High Speed line station, UPS, USPS and so on. Let me start by saying this. It is very QUIET and peaceful place. There are not much contacts between the tenants and the noise level is very low. Our manager, Ryan, listens to us and does her best to solve any problem we have. If you are looking for somewhere very peaceful and quiet but not so much excluded, Radcliffe House is the place you are looking for.
Wonderful location on Philadelphia's Main Line. A quick walk to public transportation, shopping, and great restaurants. Only a short drive to great hiking spots, such as Valley Forge. Open and spacious living areas and closets. The staff are always friendly and helpful! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and safe in your home. Having a washing machine and dryer in an apartment is rare, so we love having both in ours! Being cat friendly, having access to a gym in the complex, snow plowing in the winter and personal parking spots are just a few more amenities that we are able to enjoy. Only one con is that the walls can seem a bit thin at times, so noise can sometimes be an issue. Overall, a grand place to live!
This is a really great place to live. The manager, Ryan Mann, is extremely well organized and pays attention to detail. Service requests are taken care of promptly. The apartments are very clean and quiet. I never hear any noise at all from the other apartments! The amenities are great: clean, easy to use laundry rooms, a great pool at a neighboring complex, a fitness center in the building, and plenty of parking. Best of all is the location. Bryn Mawr is a great place, and from the complex you can easily walk into town. You are close to the town, and yet with the tall trees around the complex, you really feel like it is a retreat from your busy life. The rent is very reasonable. I would highly recommend this complex for anyone relocating to this area.
Radcliff House Apartments are the best apartments in this area - seriously! Located in the heart of the Mainline, right down the street from a 24 hours McDonalds and 24 Sunoco Gas Station. Less than a five-minute drive from Villanova University. There are several apartment complexes in this area, so what stands out about Radcliff? Well, for me, Radcliff offered everything I was looking for - patio, washer/dryer in unit, cats welcomed, on-site gym, parking, heat included, and a secured building. And QUIET, which is important to me when I am studying. Maintenance responds immediately and does a great job clearing snow during the winter months. Management is incredibly friendly, understanding, and genuinely caring. This is my second year here and I don't have any plans of leaving soon! -K.P., Bryn Mawr, PA
My girlfriend and I have only lI've done here for 2 months but so far we love it. Conveniently located next to the Norristown High Speed Line and a few blocks from Rosemont SEPTA stop, getting in and out of Philadelphia. There are numerous restaurants in area so it's very difficult to be bored.
After a long day of work, Radcliff House lives up to its name, a home more than anything else. The beautiful interior design allows residents to enjoy the joy of preparing meals while having a conversation with a breakfast nook between the kitchen and living/dining room areas. The balcony space is big enough to set up an outdoor living space to enjoy when the weather permits. The management and staff are incredibly supportive and efficient. The gym and other common areas are always maintained and clean. Nothing beats the environment and atmosphere here at Radcliff particularly when it is located in close proximity to the NHSL, Lancaster Avenue and the Regional Rail service. I find my home at Radcliff my sanctuary after work and on weekends when I have the time to enjoy the surrounding nature and the large amount of space I have.
Radcliff House is very conveniently located to the R100 (Roberts Road) high speed line for quick access to the city; Rosemont regional rail is also only a 10 minute walk away. The property manager is very helpful and responsive as well.
This apartment is very spacious. Everything is in working order even if not the most updated. The kitchen could use more drawers but has plenty of counter space. Lots of closets. Laundry room is updated and machines are always available, no laundry in the apartment. Had some problems with ants but staff was pretty prompt in taking care of it. Easy access to public transportation. All in all a pretty good place for the rent.
