Koreatown is a vibrant LA neighborhood fille with hidden gems, bars, eateries, and a collision of cultures. As the name suggests, the atmosphere in Koreatown is heavily influenced by Korean culture. The neighborhood is a favorite destination among foodies city-wide for its endless selection of authentic Korean restaurants, but the community has a much more diverse character than that: the broad range of cultural influences is exemplified in landmarks like the synagogue and contemporary art gallery of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the Latin fusion cuisine of Roy Choi’s restaurants, and the popular German/Korean/Hawaiian tinged gastropub, Biergarten.
Although the area is a hot spot for LA residents’ day trips, Koreatown is known as one of the best places to live in LA. Most locals rent their homes and enjoy parks, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance of their apartments.

Property Ratings at Radius Koreatown
Elevators are always down, garage gates stay broken, allowing homeless people to get into the garage. Theft in storage’s,vehicle theft and vehicle break Ins. Maintenance is extremely slow and rude. Leasing office is extremely rude and incompetent. Bad smells in hallways, unkept lobby, stairwells and amenities. No paper towels in gym. No designated area for package delivery. Two separate buildings, building 680 had the pool so if you live in building 688 you have to walk on the sidewalk outside the building like a visitor just to get to the pool, how convenient! Loud maintenance constantly, which is horrible if you work from home. Overused appliances. My refrigerator didn’t get cold the first day I moved in. How that was overlooked tells you a lot. No concierge to assist with packages. Packages are stolen or missing. Radius is here to take your money and that’s it. They do not care about residents or their concerns. This is ran by Equity residential who doesn’t have the best track record. They’ve been sued recently and in the past. The rent here is insane for all the consistent maintenance problems. No luxury !!! If you value your money and time DO NOT sign a lease here! So many residents have moved out, it’s quite a shame. I’ve never seen anything like it!
Can't trust this place. Horrible service. Can't believe I was stuck here for more than a year. Unhealthy environment, bug infested no matter how much you clean, no proper security, car break-ins all the time, terrible management skills, terrible customer service, fake luxury. Please save your time and money. 0 stars.
BAD BAD BAD experienced I never had in my life while living this apartment! Please those of you who thinking about to move in this apartment, I am highly do not recommend this apartment!! Seriously I am telling only the truth. I am not a picky person or anything I lived other apartments for almost 8 years, never this happened. Read reasons I listed below: 1. One of my biggest reason why I decided move out because LOUD NOISES from above my unit (on the Ceiling). I can hear everything my right above unit residents are walking and stepping sounds and makes horrible loud noises it is not just a little noise it is a seriously THUMP sounds. You will be hear every single thing like moving chairs right above your unit and shut the door’s sounds etc. If you move in this apartment, you will be hear all the terrible loud noises on the ceiling especially walking sounds. I am not kidding. 2. Managers are nice only Michelle and Edwin, but powerless. Even if they are try to contact above unit resident, I believe manager had been notice them to above unit residents about continuously making loud noises, NOTHING CHANGES. You will have to complain to them every single time. 4. Representative told me call security for above unit noises, When I was sleeping at 2am and loud stepping sounds makes me wake up in the middle of night at 2am and call security NEVER EVER pick up the phone. You will ruined your day for less sleep. how am I suppose to do that then? 3. Security and residents smoke weeds. If you smoke weeds too, you will be totally fine, but I am NOT! I can smell everyday in my unit even if I open and close the door. 4. If you are live at 688 S Berendo St, on day time you will see no one there at office and front. Everyone (staffs, securities, and representative) are in the 680 S Berendo st apartment. 5.Rent is expensive compare to all I experienced. I am a not sensitive person AT ALL. I was sleeping well at the other apartments even if I lived apartment right next to the freeways ( cars’ sounds and street noises etc.). Even if there are construction going on or cut the grass in the morning, I was sleeping well EXCEPT for this happened what I just explained and experienced in Radius apartment. I am still living this apartment and now I am writing this review at 4:20am I was wake up at 2am because of walking loud noises from my above unit.
