I am writing to express my dismay and disappointment regarding the imposition of a two-month lease breakage fee on my account following my notice to vacate Railway Plaza Apartments. It has come to my attention that this fee has been levied despite the fact that the primary reason for my decision to move out is the unresolved zero water pressure issue, which has persisted despite repeated requests for maintenance.Despite multiple requests for maintenance assistance, the problem remains unresolved, causing significant inconvenience and discomfort to me and other residents. I have raised this issue with the maintenance team numerous times, hoping for a prompt and effective resolution. However, despite assurances and supposed efforts, the problem persists unabated. It is distressing to note that despite your responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the property, such a fundamental issue as water supply remains unresolved for an extended period. Moreover, when I inquired about a permanent solution to this recurring problem, I was appalled to receive the response that I should arrange for a plumber at my own expense to rectify the issue. This suggestion is entirely unacceptable and unfair. As a tenant, I should not be burdened with the responsibility and cost of fixing structural issues that fall under the purview of the property management. The circumstances surrounding my decision to vacate Railway Plaza Apartments in 2017, specifically the persistent zero water pressure issue that occurred between March and August of that year. It has recently come to my attention that a two-month lease breakage fee was imposed on my account following my departure. During my tenancy at Railway Plaza Apartments in 2017, I encountered significant challenges due to the ongoing zero water pressure issue in my apartment. Despite multiple requests for maintenance assistance, the problem remained unresolved for an extended period, making it increasingly difficult for me to continue residing in the apartment. In light of the untenable living conditions caused by the water pressure issue, I made the difficult decision to terminate my lease early. It was my understanding at the time that this decision was justified given the failure of the management to provide a habitable living environment as stipulated in the lease agreement.The decision to move out was not taken lightly and was made in response to a fundamental breach of the lease agreement on the part of the management.

We love living at Railway. It would be five stars except for the following: The package system is a mess and to make matters worse we pay $5 a month for a service that doesn’t really work. Also management sends out lease violations to the entire building for something that is isolated to one or two units. I understand it can be challenging to figure out the violator but still. Also they constantly are upset that residents are leaving the door propped up yet they haven’t fixed the lock on our building entrance door in over six months so it’s always open. However even with all that said we are happy here and will continue to renew.

I was a resident of Railway plaza a year back and my experience was awesome with them, they helped a lot to get my deposit back while I was in out of country. I will give 5 stars with my past experience. I will give 1 star for their system now, it might impact you mentally and financially. I have recently applied for an apartment with same trust. My application was denied with their recent Two dots buggy AI System. I have got their apologies in mail and I was told to reapply because their system is not capable of adjusting fees. They have collected US address to send the cheque as well. I have again paid the fees and they have reviewed my application manually and I am a resident now. I am getting different answers of my refund fees ($350) now but I will fight all ways to get the money back. I expect anyone shouldn’t get denial in future because of buggy Two dots verification system, and BH Management should at least help genuine people affected by this.

I have left the apartment on 06/30, throughly cleaned, painted and fixed with all the breakages happened. I also got a confirmation that my deposit will be refunded completely However, since after multiple follow ups, emails and phone calls, I am not getting any response when I will get my deposit refund. As per their process, this should be completed in 6 weeks, but it is now more than 9 weeks, forget deposit, I am yet to get the confirmation when I will get the deposit back.

I made the right choice picking this place.The community is pleasant & clean. Issues get taken care of IMMEDIATELY. It has been enjoyable & hassle free for me........
Everything is good, except no cameras at building entries to track. Rent is very high for the facilities what we get.
We moved in 2018 because we liked the convenient location and management seemed easy to work with. We rarely had any issues but if we had to contact the main office, everything was taken care of in a timely manner. Then management changed in late 2019. The lack of care is palpable. The entryways to the buildings are dirty and there’s not nearly as much landscaping maintenance being done. Over the winter with the terrible snows they didn’t salt the parking lots at all and barely plowed. When they did plow we were plowed into the parking spaces so bad that I had to use my snowbrush to dig out. We were left to slip and fall through the parking lot and shovel our own snow. We decided to move to a different property and submitted our notice. Since then we’ve been treated terribly by management. Our washing machine has been broken for 2 weeks and the office will not respond to any phone calls, emails, or service requests submitted through their portal to fix it. It’s clear that once they know they won’t get any more money out of you, management couldn’t care less about you. So much for the community they’re trying to build here. I do not recommend Railway Plaza at all. There are plenty of other complexes in the area with similar amenities and rents and I’m sure management cares more about their jobs.
I have only lived here for a couple of months but anything i have needed from management, they have been super fast and helpful and very friendly. This is something I take into consideration when it comes to renewing my lease and that is something i will be doing because of the great experience i have living here with my child.
I love the new management group here. Their maintenance team is absolutely exceptional. Their office team is amazing, through Covid, they were there to assist us with so much, I couldnt be more grateful for them. Thank you all for making our living experience a rememberable one.
I am resident here for more than 14 years and I consider this place as my permanent residence because I enjoy the environment, safety and continuation of the Best services even though there are changes in the Management.
I am very satisfied how quick they get things done and how they treat you with kindness and make you feel like you can bring up an issue without feeling like a burden or feel like it wont get resolved if you bring it up to them! I feel very safe and comfortable here with my child because of it. I know we are in good hands and makes me assured I would renew my lease for years to come.
My experience with staff was excellent. My apartment was even better. Everything I expected and more was in the apartment that I have. My experience here is peaceful and comfortable.
Staff is friendly and very professional. Im very impressed how much they collaborate together. Far as living here at Railway thus far its a great experience the metro station is up the street and the people in the building a very friendly and welcoming. I think I made a good choice by moving in.

It's a decent place to live. It looks nice, close to the train, and Route 59. However it's overpriced for the square footage, the pool isn't heated and is outside, and parking is limited for residents, and guest parking is a joke.
Me and my two roommates have lived here for about a year and do plan to renew our lease, however there are a few drawbacks. There are so many kids, which is fine, but it becomes grating when they are constantly screaming outside. Also the walls are very thin and our neighbors have been hit or miss as far as being mindful of noise after midnight. The latter issue is far more taxing, and if we still had quiet or respectful neighbors I would probably give five stars.
Do not move in here. I pay an extra 125 for a garage parking pass and was towed from the parking lot. It cost me $218 to get my car back. There are kids and people always blocking the parking lot making it impossible to get out. Dont make the mistake of moving here

The utility charges were not clear. An estimated amount would have been provided. The premium for renters insurance wasn'??t clear. Lot of docs pertaining to immigration are being asked and wasn'??t told earlier about these requirements. Immigration docs are personal identification docs and not comfortable sharing with apartment but we are forced to share PII information.

My building is very noisy. With children running up and down through the hallways all day long. My neighbors upstairs are deeply noisy and there running stomping noises that go on for a long time.

I would have to tell anyone I recommend that there's tons of kids and nowhere for them to play so they pretty much play all over the place. Especially by cars.

The community just being near the Metra station, has nothing else to attract. Sub-par amenities are provided in comparison to the high rent charged.

I have already recommended couple of my friends and they are now residents. But recently one of my friends came to our apartment and was looking for an apartment...but was visibly disappointed with the pond maintenance. Heard similar complaint from other neighbors...I would love to recommend but this needs to be fixed
I'd recommend it for sure but it might be too pricey for a lot of people.
Apartment units are top quality - very nice "higher end" finishes - especially since recent renovations. Community is friendly, office staff is great, and amenities meet expectations. The walls are thin and sound carries too easily from outside, staircases, and hallways. Parking spots are limited too, but the walk is usually not far. Visitor parking is lacking and not the most convenient when you have to park at METRA. Some of the contractors on site including garbage pick up are at ridiculously early times - we've heard garbage pickup as early as 530/6am waking us up each time. Any sounds between apartment buildings from contractors starting early weekday shifts also carries well into the apartments, sometimes as early as 630/7am.

1) The rents are very high. 2) Only commute is easy if working in downtown. The school factor is negated with other school rankings improveing 3) Thoughts - To recover the cost of upgrades its not fare to put burden on the existing tenant.The upgrades should be looked as investment to improve occupancy rate. You will recover the cost of investment in coming years. This will at least bring the rents to a competitive price.

This is one of the best apartments in Naperville/Aurora area. Its close to train station, shopping centers, high ways and in a good school district.

The rent in general is high and could be brought down. While I would recommend, I would think the affordability is a big influence on most.
Clean,safe and comfortable place to live. Great location.
I would recommend it to friends who want an easy commute to downtown chicago. It's only a 5 minute walk to the metra platform and it's hard to beat that commute home.

In my tenure of 2 years I recommended 3 people who moved in, When I checked with them after they moved in overall satisfaction rate is going south. Last referral has to contact multiple times as he found pet hair in apartment he occupied and family suffered Allergy and has to take medications, only after continuous requests, staff agreed to get it cleaned one more time. Now with this experience I am not sure if I should recommend for any new friends or not
Great community to live.Great leasing office staff and right next to train station.
