Property Ratings at Raintree Apartments
I hope this save the life of thousand of Americans . This is the worst and pathetic place I ever seen in the history of America! This place is a serious threat for human dignity and a critical safety and health concern. Roaches anywhere,in bathroom, kitchen, living room , bedrooms,in the fridge, no matter how clean is your apartment. They have infested my TVs, microwaves, couches, mixers, diswashers and lot of things I had to get rid off. On top of that I have to deal with gunshots everyday around, police chasing cars late at night ,terrible experience. What really pissed me off, I got a rude neighbour making lot of bed noise around 5 am with his girl friend and their kids jumping all round ,running with heavy steps . Also terrible smell of smoke or blunt coming out the the bathroom somewhere . This place should be shut down by the government for safety issue. The property office is careless and barely pick up phone ! Stay way from this place ,I already warned you . Wish I could give minus star ! Disgusting place!!!!!!!!!
I wish there was an option for 0 starts to be honest. This place is the worst place I have ever lived in in my entire life; it is completely infested with roaches. They get in your food, the fridge, they sometimes get on your bed in your sleep.. basically nothing you own is safe from them including yourself during your sleep. Another issue is the random gunshots at night. Sometimes there are police officers around late at night when I am trying to sleep. I am not sure why this was a common reoccurrence, but this is your sign it is probably not the safest place to live in. Lastly, the place is just not kept well; people spit everywhere, there is a smell of cigarettes that always infested the bathroom because of the neighbors above, the windows did not work so they had to be closed 24/7, and it is overall a depressing dark place. Please save your time and money. They don't seem to care to resolve this issue since the reviews about these things have been consistent for years with no change. I am glad to finally be out of there. I feel much happier and safer.
Every single day doesnt matter the time you will see a roach!! I kid you not. If im paying this much for roaches to live for free then my pets can live here for free simple ???????
As you have seen the pool I mean what pool roaches infest the place. They also won’t give you your deposit back once you have completed your lease with on time payments and leave the place cleaner then when you got it.
Well to start off this description they are selling you is full of lies. I haven't seen the luxurious set of amenities promised and I have lived here for a year now. The sparkling swimming pool looks more like the busted, old empty hole in the ground it did a year ago when I moved in and was told the pool would be ready for the summer.. it wasn't and still isn't. The spacious sun deck is I guess by the empty hole in the ground supposed to be the pool. The laundry facilities that are in each building have 2 washers and 2 dryers that rarely have both working at the same time. The balconies are moldy and gross and look like they haven't had anything done to them since 1979 when the apartments were built. Now on to the HORRIBLE management.. when I first moved here the management was great, then they changed. I have emailed multiple times with issues and concerns and just general questions and have heard nothing back but ive received other emails about unrelated topics from the person who I sent my concerns with. I don't know how you are supposed to get problems addressed when you have no contact information for the person/people that you are supposed to address these concerns too. I would save your money, time, and sanity if I were you. The review titled "Don't" that covers the ROACH issue sums up my experience on that topic. Thank God my lease is up and I can leave. Maybe this review will get management attention since direct emails do not!
Its okay. Do not move here for a pool advantage. The pool has not been open for years. ROACHES. I am on the third floor. They have had a company come out to treat. My assumption with them renovating in the same buildings that they are scattering. I know I did not come with roaches when I moved in. At night coming in to the building you will see them crawling across the cement into the grass right in front of you.
Extremely money hungry! My apartment flooded every time it rained and the issues was never resolved!!! Staff change so much and no one ever knows whats going on. Apartments are dirty and poorly put together. Over priced for a gloomy neighborhood
First of all, the people who are leaving good reviews for these apartments are making me cackle because this place is a total sh*t hole. I moved into this place in February of 2019 because I’m a first time renter, and let me tell you, this is definitely NOT the place you want to be. I am a college student working part-time and thought these apartments would be a nice, affordable place to live. It’s so not worth all the ROACHES I see daily. You guys... the roaches are so bad and it makes me cringe so hard. I have seen roaches EVERY DAY I’ve lived here for the past year and when I told the office about them, all they told me to do was to get my own bug spray. Wtf. The buildings definitely seem okay to live in when touring this place, but it’s all one big false advertisement. I can’t wait for my lease to end so I can literally run for my life and never look back. I’m just laying it all out on the table so y’all know what you’re getting yourselves into. It’s just not worth it to live here unless you love sharing your home with thousands of cockroaches. Building 239 is a place you never want to step foot in, seriously.
An apartment at Raintree was available at the perfect time in my life. The management was very detailed throughout the initial application process and I felt very supported. The management is very reasonable and kind and will try their best to help you with your requests. Maintenance is also very kind, but is extremely busy with renovations to the entire property, so don't expect extremely quick servicing at this time. I'm sure when the renovations dwindle down that the maintenance response time will become quicker. Overall, I really enjoy Raintree and feel safe where I am.
I had such a great time renting from Raintree! The rent is very reasonable for such a convenient location in High Point. They are very open to pets and have plenty of room for them to run around. P Building had awesome people to live around and the area is very safe and quiet. The management team was always great to me and my roommate; and was always there to hold out a helping hand. The have quite a few new additions they are working on and 10/10 would recommend!
Raintree is one of the best places I have lived. The leasing office team is just simply AMAZING and Sammy, the property manager, is the best I've ever met. Maintenance staff is extremely helpful and always respond within the day. The renovations and new amenities are great! My favorite part of is the fact that Raintree is extremely pet friendly! <3 The rent is VERY reasonable and the area is very safe. My neighbors are friendly and I honestly love this place! Definitely renewing my lease!
It’s a cool apartment complex. Really chill atmosphere with reasonable prices! Pet friendly, definitey a plus! The staff have always been really nice and have responded diligently to maintenance and questions. They have a fire pit and a pool with plans on adding more amenities!
I have family members that reside in Raintree; so I'm aware of their changes since last year. First, there's no car wash area (that's very far in the future), they will tell you have a grounds crew...nope lie, the maintenance crew are also grounds and they pick up little to no trash. They've allowed more criminals into the complex; there's been 3 shooting (1 resulting in death) into dwelling since the new property owner(s) have taken over. They're several pitbulls and other large breeds dogs (so no breed restriction)which will result in an incident just waiting for it to happen. Apartments are just receiving new paint over old paint they also closed in the formal fireplaces. Most of sliding doors don't work & if their repaired you have to pull with a lot force them open & closed. They also don't cater to the elder or disabled community, they're no railing/ramps, no parking, nor do try assign apartments on the 1st floor for them. There's no 24 or emergency maintenance personnel. You can only have Spectrum cable service so if you have Dish or Direct Tv you will have obtain cable. They have filled several pot holes and they made sure that the office was fully renovated but the apartment have glued down fake wood flooring. No new cabinets nor are the appliances new just new to you. You will see piles of trash throughout the complex in which the "renovation crew" has thrown into the grounds. If you're 1st time renter or need housing & your record is horrible then you can surly get an apartment here.

I moved into a partially renovated 2 bedroom apartment this past October. I love it here. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and help with any issues. It's always hard finding an apartment that accepts pit bulls, but this place does and I love it! The apartment itself is wonderful and spacious. The neighbors are great. In my opinion, this is a wonderful place to live for a great price.
I have been a resident for 12 years. Love my apartment , the staff is absolutely the best, always professional and so compassionate to needs of the residents. Raintree Appartment your staff and the family oriented environment it what keeps me here. Raintree Apartments is such a great place to be
The apartments look nice at first but once ur in there are bugs in the apartments the wall are so thin you hear everything the neighbors do. When u call the office they say they will call you back to let u know something and u never hear back from them. Just beware it’s not worth the money you pay to live here

I have been living here for about a year. The apartment community is great that I've seen so far. I don't really have any complaints about the neighbors. I've never had my car broken into or been worried about someone robbing me. The community seems really friendly. I actually accidentally left my trunk open one night and one of the neighbors went door to door to the entire building trying to let the person who owned the car the trunk was open. Nothing was missing. I do happen to live next to the only people in my building that tend to like their loud music once in a while but they do respect the quiet hours when they are in effect and the walls are somewhat thick. In that I mean when they have it blasting, I can hear it outside and in the hallway, but once I get in my apartment right next to them it's muffled and mostly just the bass of whatever they're playing. For these reasons and the fact that they allow my husky is why I gave the two stars. The reason they get no more stars from me is the apartment buildings themselves and the management of the apartments. The hours of the office are terrible to me compared to other apartment office hours. They are only open from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri and they are closed on the weekends. And they're closed an hour for lunch, which is not a solid time, it's just whenever they want to go lunch, that's when they're closed, though most times they close for lunch around 12 which is lunch time for most other people too. I just feel like they could at least give 8 hours in a day to have the office open to potential and current residents. The buildings need some major renovations. There are cracks and holes all over in my apartment, which makes for a buggy situation. They do have pest control but they do not keep is consistent monthly as they told me when I was signing the lease. They just wait until it gets so bad people complain and then ta da, here comes pest control. The laundry facilities are a joke, I just use a laundromat for two reasons. 1. The laundry is on the first floor which has molding in the walls from not being kept up and the washers/dryers are constantly breaking. 2. The 2-br does not have WD Conn. like I was told when first touring the property. The pool hours are 9-6 and management recently decided to close the pool on the weekends because "someone left trash around the pool", which I find unethical to deny amenities that are being paid for by your tenants, to your tenants because of "someone".
Pros: The apartment community itself is great. People are friendly and I have never had a reason to fear my neighbors. Never had an issue with theft, even when I accidentally left my trunk open in my car. Someone actually knocked on every door in the building until they found the car owner to let them know. Amazing! That and the fact they allow my husky is why they get two stars. Cons: The office hours 9-5 and they are closed for 1 hour for lunch and they're not open on the weekend. Even though their website says that Saturdays are by appointment. The pool hours are just as bad 9-6. The sun doesn't even start to go down until 8. Also, this year they decided to close the pool on the weekends without warning because "someone left trash in the pool area". I find a bit unethical to away part an amenity that all residents pay for because they don't have a way to identify who the "someone" is. The laundry facilities are as big as joke as their pest control. The buildings need some major renovations are there cracks holes everywhere, which is great for bugs. The first floor where the laundry is has mold growing on the walls from poor maintenance. They tell you that they clean the hallways and bring pest control once a month. The only time you get pest control is when they get enough complaints about the bugs in the building.

I have been living here for almost a year I hate having to go up three flights of stairs with groceries and two kids. Cockroaches everywhere I have notified but either the exterminators or the landlord hasn't done much but they have multiplied. Wish I could live in a much better nicer place my lease is up in about two months. Hope this place fixes up the negatives of this Apartment Complex

There are many things I could say but the over all things about my apartment is that it is a cozy 1 bedroom it has a fire place that is awesome. The area has lots of Trees. I have lived here 11yrs. The Rent is reasonable and I know I will be here a lot longer and currently for the last 3yrs. I have been living here on a part time job and to know that it's affordable for me to do that even though it's hard is awesome.
