Property Ratings at Rancho Del Sol
I lived here for 1.5 years. It was mostly great, but the leasing office and property manager (management) are not nice and are super unapproachable. I submitted a service request and requested no one to come in while I wasn't there but they ended up doing so anyway. The property manager claims to contact you multiple times but as someone that is addicted to their phone I can tell you that that is a lie. They do not communicate about the water shutting off some days or when it will turn back on. I had two different units here and both smelled like old people and cigarettes and it never went away.
I've lived here for over 5 years now. Being born and raised in las vegas with my family, you can imagine the different places or apartments I've been to or grew up in and this community is by far my favorite place to live. The ladies in the office are so awesome and take good care of me or whatever I need. I love that they've been the same since I first signed my lease. The maintenance staff are just as accommodating and often come the day of me putting in a request. It's generally a quiet community and I love the location as well. Like any place there are some snags but I do feel as though the staff really mitigate as much as possible and im happy to continue living here

In the last few years of constant change, there has been stability and consistency at Rancho Del Sol. The staff here are friendly and real. They are very responsive and always available. They communicate well and I never have to wait on a maintenance issue. Even during the pandemic when Las Vegans we’re struggling they didn’t increase the rent. They put the residents ahead of profits and that speaks volumes about GSC and Rancho Del Sol.

I feel safe here and it's cheap compared to a lot of places. Dishwasher has been broken since I moved in and they will not fix or replace it. I watch them bring brand new ones in, but those are for the new tenants. They've already got my money, so... Also, when neighbors fight you will hear everything. They must not insulate the walls between units. If you have alcoholics or children as neighbors, prepare to live in hell until they get evicted. The homeless also have loud fights in the wash and it sounded like there was a rape out there recently I had to call in. That was scary. Maintenance people are really nice. If management would let them get me a dishwasher, that'd be a miracle. The guys are good people and have been great about fixing anything else and are super neighborly and kind.

These apartments are my first. It is renovated, comfortable, in a decent location, and homey to be sure but there are many cons that aren’t mentioned. The palms has a nightclub that you can hear WAY too well four days a week from 10-4 AM, the homeless light fires in the trench between the complex and the UFC building that make the whole complex smell like a smokestack, and there is nothing you can do about it. I still love my apartment but if I can’t find a better location on property I’ll be thrilled to move away.

All you hear, 5 nights a week, sometimes SIX, is bass from the club at Palms. Sometimes, they turn it up so loud that you can hear every word of the songs as well. And now that summer is here, there's loud music during the day? It literally shakes my patio door. You will get no sleep or relaxing done at this complex. Of course, the leasing officers don't tell you about this when you're signing. I can't wait to move.
We moved in from NJ about 3 years ago. We are close to restaurants, movies, pharmacies and a food store (all within walking distance). We enjoy the luxury of 2 pools. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bus is a block away if you want to go into town (it's only a mile away). Or you can catch a ride into town for free from one of the casinos near by. This place is comfortable, huge and well placed. I can't imagine being anywhere else but here!
