Property Ratings at Rancho Ladera
These are NOT luxury apartments. Maybe 15 years ago but in 2023? Absolutely not! Like the headline says this place has a sewer roach problem make sure you close your drain in your shower or you will see up to 5 of these bad boys a week. Parking sucks... I've seen a suv with out of town plates with no parking decal taking up a covered spot for TWO weeks.
Looked and looked through out the area for a place and kept coming back to Rancho Ladera. The office staff has been great and the maintenance people great as well. One if the main reasons I was looking when I found Rancho Ladera was my old apartment always took so long to fix anything. I found right after I moved in that the I need maintenance for a minor issue with my washer, I called the office and with in a couple of hours it was fixed. There was an issue upstairs, the office called me and asked for permission to enter my apartment to make sure the leak was not coming downstairs, the leak upstairs appears to have been a hot water heater. It was fixed same day.
Did a lot of apartment searching....this place was one of our top 2 choices because community is clean and staff is super friendly and helpful. It won us over because of location!!!
Rosa & Hayle (sp?) were so helpful when I was moving in. I love my apartment, the grounds are kept nice & my dogs love the dog park. It is a small & very quiet complex which I like. And the people I have met here are so very friendly. Also, a minor maintenance request was addressed & fixed quickly. Melvin was great! I look forward to living here.
We didn't live there long but it was enough to know that it was a terrible place to live. The office staff was not helpful and one in particular was rude and disrespectful. It's overpriced, mediocre, and definitely not worth the trouble. If you have more than one car don't expect to find parking anywhere past 7pm. The office staff will brief you to park at the church just down the street. Again mediocre! We had trouble with more than one of the appliances during our stay and after getting them fixed and them breaking again we just gave up. Also if you have pets prepare to hand over your wallet. The fees are ridiculous.
The staff are very rude and unprofessional. The units are old and look like they haven't been updated since the 1980s. They are very small and drab inside, hardly any windows. Air conditioning barely works, sometimes took hours after turning it on to go down three degrees. Parking is horrendous, sometimes I could not get a space anywhere in the entire complex. Worst place I ever lived and I was so happy when our lease ended.
Lived here for 7 years. Very much would live here again if I was living on this side of town. Rosa is always very helpful and understanding. Maintanence was always quick and polite. Also the rest of the staff was polite and helpful as well.
I was so excited to move in here, the complex is in a great location, and is quiet. However 12 months later and I cannot wait to get out. After multiple AC failures, the ceiling in the bathroom leaking and never getting fixed, high rent, bad parking, and employees who just don't care, I'm ready to leave Rancho Ladera behind me.
I moved in June 2017, everything has been great until dealing with rat(s) in apartment. It has been a month since I have first reported this incident and yet I am still dealing with the rat(s). If looking for a place you may want to consider other options.
good apratment complec been here for a few years now but just keeps going up people that run it are great and very kind but might half to move because price is to hight
Gorgeous neighborhood with great mountain side views, nice and quiet and you couldn't ask for a more responsive and courteous office staff. One gentleman in particular named ---- was very polite and professional. Highly recommend
-Very nice people in the front office! -Stays quite throughout the day -My apartment has vinyl flooring that cleans easily -They spray for bugs frequently so pests are no issue -Assigned parking
This is the perfect spot for people who are looking to just start creating your life. This lovely place is called the Rancho Ladera. If you are looking for one bedroom, two or three before they have every floor plan to fit your needs. I currently live in a one bed room and I couldn't be anymore happier with what they have offered me. It is in the perfect location for anyone who drives to work. It is right by the I-10 witch is the freeway that leads to all the different freeways. If you are looking for a thing to do their is a lot to do in this area and then downtown Phoenix is about thirty minutes away. The chandler mall is about 15 minutes away and then mill ave in tempe is 10 minutes away from where they are located. this is the perfect starting aparment for anyone movie away for college, moving out form your parents, or just trying to start you life on your own. It is the perfect comunity for many reasons. If you were to drive by you would think it was a resort not an apartment complax. I would tell everyone about this because for the price and the loaction you are getting a great deal.
I have lived in 3 different floor plans here at Rancho Ladera and I have been very satisfied with all of them. The office management is quick to respond to any needs that we have for our apartment. The maintenance crew is always willing to fix things in a timely fashion. The community itself is quiet and the people who live here are very friendly. The grounds are always kept up. I laugh that I will retire here! I would definitely give this place a thumbs up. Bonus...........you are within in walking district of the reserve entrance to South Mountain.
The office staff make this place. I usually ask to work with John specifically. He's super efficient, professional, and knowledgable. In the 2 years I've lived here, all of my needs have always been met. The complex has easy access to the I-10 and there's a small dog park on the grounds. Bonus! Overall a great place to live
