Property Ratings at Rancho Sierra Apartments
I moved in ten years ago and finally moved out recently. The three key reasons I stayed so long were kind and fair management, good maintenance and no scorpions and spiders. Check them out.

Hi there! We are so glad to see that you have such a great impression of Rancho Sierra because of the stellar service of our staff! Thank you for sharing your experience, and as always, if there is anything we can further assist you with, please feel free to reach out to us!
I have lived off and on at this apartments since I first moved in 2006. I lived there till 2011 moved out and return again in 2018. Moved out in 2019 to get married. But coming back home ! Staff amazing. Apartments clean and safe property. If you want a safety and staff that care. This is your place.
I've been living here 4 over 10 years. Whenever I have an issue, it is dealt with. If something breaks down it is always fixed promptly. If I ever have a rent issue , they always work with me. It's been a great 10+ years. I am ready for a two-bedroom and I plan to stay here. Thank you Rancho Sierra Apartments.?
Management is awful unless you are liked. We have lived here way too long. The apartments are average not updated at all. The apartments are infested with roaches and kids are everywhere. The laundry room is not the best at all and pools are not sparkling blue. I would look other places. Moving to Chandler
Inflexible and rude on several occasions. I wouldn't recommend signing a lease here. Slow to repair in every instance and repairs were shoddy when performed. There are plenty of other complexes in this area that will provide a much higher level of service and amenity.
My family has lived here for 2 years. We liked the location (close to the 51 and Scottsdale), and the apartment (one of the patio homes). We were initially told about recent upgrades, but upon move in, it looked more like they just put in a new stove, microwave and fridge, but the rest of the apartment was rather dated. Not a deal breaker, but in 2 years, the rent has increased substantially while nearly no improvements to the overall property have been done. Understandably, when storms would blow through, clean up is not always immediate. I found, that although the maintenance crews would travel through daily, all downed tree limbs were left for over a week, leaving the grounds looking messy. Any repairs we needed done were generally handled quickly and professionally and the office staff have always been pleasant to deal with. Although we asked for our lease renewal terms 2 months out, we weren't given our renewal lease until 6 days before we would need to give our 30 day notice. Overall, I would recommend the place as the cost was much lower than other places closer to Scottsdale, but personally, I could not justify the cost for what we were getting.
Everyone in the apartment office, including maintenance is extremely nice and knows me personally. It's nice to get a warm smile and wave every morning leaving for work. They are always there to help you with questions you may have or any help you need regarding getting work done on your apartment.
We moved in less than two months ago, and it has been the best apartments ever. I have always lived in semi decent apartments, and this is by far the best. Right when we walked through the office door, we were greeted by friendly faces, and the smell of freshly baked cookies. They instantly connected to us and made us feel at home. I highly recommend that everyone moves here.
It Just wasn't right from the beginning. Place smelled like cigarettes, my fault for not inquiring as a non smoker. Was disgusted from the start, my clothes attracted smell & I had to go to work smelling like this for couple of months. I Informed the apartment complex about issue on my 1st day of inspection & their response was, " if I needed to move I had 24 hrs to vacate.", without me not having a second plan, I had to stay. Even my dog has developed allergies & my health has not been the same since. Apartment still smells little smokey, although I have tried many things to get rid of smell, i haven't been successful & my non smoking friends don't visit me, due to their allergies or asthma. I have been thinking of finding another place, smoke free since they only allow tenants to rent only a 9 month lease, which ends in December 2015. Even the tenants smoke near pool & Jaccuzie, I can't even enjoy the pool area. Sincerely disgusted & sad Annette Almanza Apt 1193-bldg 19
Ive lived here 7yrs and really enjoy it. Its a nice complex with trees and owls. 3 pools 1 heated in winter. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Its quiet and peaceful. A lot of residents are longtimers which says a lot. Its walking distance to each level of schooling. All immediate necessities are across the street. The rent is very reasonable for the apt. Nice neighborhood. And immediate access to the freeway. I highly recommend this place to all decent people.
Rancho Sierra apartments are extremely average. I am so excited to get my first apartment in the city of Tempe where I can continue school as a sophomore at Arizona State University!! :)
I like this place and it close to everything and i have cousins live there
