Ravens Crest

Stayed at this property for over 6 months. No major issues, though I will say - what they refer to as 'newly renovated' is anything but the case. What are and should be considered normal repairs and maintenance, they have termed 'renovations'. Kind of sad really. My unit's previous tenant must have been a dog owner. There are scratches and bite marks all over the baseboards, corners of doors, window sills, etc. It was merely painted over - not even sanded or replaced - it would cost so little. There was paint on the floor and mirrors from the terrible painting job that occurred during the - 'renovation'. I think kinder gardeners could do a better job. The water heater in my unit was actually only half the size of what was in the model and contrary to advertising. As far as their maintenance and up keep - it is pretty laughable. They send a person with a gas powered air blower to clear the side walks - it is rather loud and annoying, especially considering how ineffective it is. Heard of a broom? I know, it takes too much actual work. It's been months and there are multiple units with siding hanging off, swinging in the wind - just a major health hazard. One of the siding pieces fell off the unit from close to 3 floors up - landed on the sidewalk - thankfully no one was hurt. The debri is still there - still not cleaned up. All-in-all, not a bad place. Most neighbors are respectful and quiet. Just wanted to make the unknowns known - hopefully you don't get bamboozled.

Excellent property lay out , residents are friendly the maintenance staff are knowledgeable and clean .. the parking is wide open are far as a big community.. the units are spacious for the price and the lay out is great for condo living.

The staff here is amazing, solving any issue you may have. Most recently an outside contractor was hired to paint our patios. One of the workers cut the string lights I have hanging on the ceiling. The staff went above and beyond my complaints, negotiating with the contractor to secure me a visa debit card to cover the expenses for the lights as well as the inconvenience to my time. I can not say how great it is to live here. The apartments are modern and beautiful with great views. The amenities such as the pool and gym are awesome, and the staff and maintenance team are truly amazing.

The apartments are spacious and the complex is well kept. The updates to the apartments give them a modern look that is hard to find in the area. The amenities such as the pool is a welcome addition during the summer and the gym is always kept clean.

I moved in last October. The staff was really nice and helpful. any questions I had got answered with no Attitude. Maintenance workers are knowledgeable Ask skilled. I highly recommend ravens crest Apartments.

I've lived here 6 years and I love it! It's a great place to live. It's very quiet and safe. Every time I have a maintenance issue they are quick to fix it. I love the gym and pool

My husband and I lived there for 3 years. I’m going to start with the parking lot, they have enough parking spots for you and your visitors, if you don’t have a permit parking sticker on your car you would have until 11 pm which is fine so during the day anyone could come to visit you without any worries. It is also a quiet place. I had packages delivered to my door all the time and they were never stole it, some of the next door neighbors would leave their packages in front of the door for days and nobody never touched it, which it makes me think it is a safe place. We were in the renovated apartments and we just had one time problem with the AC unit, we sent a msgs from the website asking for someone to come to fix it and they showed up quickly. About bugs, we never had any issue with bugs, I’m also a super freak cleaning person so that also helped with that. You may find some nosy neighbors like the ones we had above us, they were very nosy we could hear their alarm ringing for an hour starting at 4 am Or when they were having sex, but I think that would be in any apartment complex, it’s about of luck if you find someone who cares about who live below them. And at last when we moved out we just got charged for carpet shampoo which it was about 30 dollars, they didn’t charge for anything else, I know so many people are complaining about extra charges when they move out but you just have to make sure the apartment is completely clean, like moving the stove or the fridge and clean that areas very well or the bulbs or chandeliers, every single thing. We were just very carefully with everything knowing that we didn’t own the place, if you have that in mind everything will be good. I really missed ravens when I moved in to my new house, now I don’t miss anymore but I would honestly thing it was a really good place to live.

If I could post this comment without a star, I would. I do not recommend this place to no one. There is a pest issue, for one. Secondly, the management of this establishment is not unequipped but unprofessional. Customer service is poor, there is a lack of follow through on anything agreed upon, and just overall a bad experience. Cost is decent for the location, but as far as living there, with this current management group in the onsite office, I'd personally recommend you take your chances somewhere else. Also, for management purposes, the manager Chowdhury should find another line of work because she is absolutely incompetent in this field. As a professional that has been in this industry of property management for a long time, S. Chowdhury is by far the worse manager I have come across by a wide margin.

Moved in a couple months ago and since day one Liuva has been a great help. She is very help full and is always smiling and seems to like her job. The maintenance staff is great when it comes to work orders. I am so glad I rented there here and command it 100 percent.

I lived at this apartment complex for 14 months. During my time here, the staff was very rude and unprofessional. A couple times my packages were sent to the leasing office and when I went to pick them up, the leasing assistant made me wait half an hour because she there were future residents present. So instead of saying excuse me to them and taking the 2 seconds to grab my package, I had to wait half an hour for her to finish with them. Also, after moving out, a bill was sent to me for the last of my utilities with a 30-day due date. I sent the money to the office before it was due only to find out that they had already sent my balance to a debt collector a week before the due date. I called the property manager, who was very rude, to ask why it was sent and she claimed that the 30 days is a "courtesy" and they don't have to wait the whole 30 days. Nowhere in that letter did it say that the 30 days were a courtesy. The property manager also said in the most condescending tone, that if I had read my lease, then I would have known that they didn't have to wait the 30 days. They also gave the incorrect number for the debt collector that they use. Also, when you submit a maintenance request, they don't let you know when they are coming, or if they even came. All in all, living here is not worth the rude and unprofessional staff and I would not recommend living at this apartment complex. 10/10 would not recommend.

I've lived here 3 years and they just upped my rent $101/month AND stopped paying for water, trash, sewage. They have really gone down hill since 2017. They make ridiculous changes and dont ask the residence. They wait til after you move out to up date your apartment... and did I mention my rent increased $101/month for nothing.

Ravens crest will cheat you out of money to pay for "repairs" after moveout, even though on a walk thru done prioir to turning in keys with the staff, stated two miscellaneous items that needed to be replaced. Weeks after i got a bill for over 500$ in damages. They tried to make me pay for carpets and padding they have to replace after 6 years (its in the lease) a consultant there is extremely rude her name is shishmita she has zero business in her line of work if she cant simply be polite. P.S. theyre notorious for placing "violations" on your door for having patio furniture or gardens on your porch but, do nothing about people smoking pot on the premises or the fact that the steps walking up to any 2nd or 3rd floor are missing, broken, or loose. They will not pay for your TV due to their negligence because you fell off such step while moving out. After complaining about it for weeks. Not recommended.

I went in one day and the lady was in a hurry but super nice she told me to come in the next day so I could see the apartment. I got off work early to give ample time to the staff and see if I qualified. Well the young lady who saw me immediately asked if I had a co signer assuming I needed one. when I showed her my pay stubs she said I needed to make triple the rent? makes no sense but ok and than asked when I planned to move in. I felt so unwelcome and not only that but wasted my time.

when I was first quoted here I thought that this place wasn't what I expected until I finally walked inside and boy was I wrong amazing features textures and parking is good too. Love it here

Beautiful and secure apartments, Quite spacious with two bedrooms. Very close to shopping centers. Ample parking plus great administration.

This is the perfect building if you want a quick walk to the metro, great restaurants and outdoor space. The common areas are well maintained and staff incredibly helpful. Unlike other apartments in this area, it has a large courtyard with a pool, lounge chairs and dining tables. It’s like having a touch of country right in the middle of the city.

I looked all over the neighborhood and all I had to do was walk around the corner. Now I have a new home.

When I first viewed the complex at Raven's Crest I was very impressed. The grounds surrounding the office was immaculate. I was extremely impressed with the amenities, ie pool, gym, sauna etc. We were utilities were influenced. This we later found out meant water. The grounds need regular cleaning. The lawn is cut but regular everday trash litters the place. It would be a lot nicer if they employed someone to sweep up daily. The apartment is OK but the appliances are old. For the price I was expecting a little more.
