Don, helped me work through the lease paperwork quickly and easily even though I wasn't in state at that time. The apartment area is not noisy and has easy access to light rail. As a young woman, safety is of the utmost importance to me. The Ray has tight security. There are several fob readers, and you have to scan your fob several times to get anywhere in the building, including each apartment. This is a great place for young people to live safely and comfortably.
I've lived at Ray for a little over a year now and just absolutely love it! The units are modern, fresh, light, and efficient. The balcony's are spacious and the nest thermostat is clutch when you're in and out of your unit all day. I've had great experiences with the management team, they are warm, welcoming, and professional. The location is so convenient as well, with it's adjacency to the train line, its central location between Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and its proximity to the U of M campus. I've lived in 4 different apartment buildings in the twin cities and none of the others compare to Ray! Highly recommend this spot!

I have been living in this location since 4//4/2021, so I have been living here for just over a week. I had checked out a variety of different apartments before choosing RAY. Many of them offered awesome services and locations, but I chose RAY for a variety of reasons. When I first pulled up to visit the location, I felt noticeably comfortable in the area. Additionally, of the apartments I checked out, none had better parking than RAY. As far as parking goes, I had the option of a nice parkin garage, parking lot adjacent to the building, or a $25/month parking lot about 2 blocks from the building. I chose the $25/month option, and I am very happy with the choice. The light rail stop is directly between the apartment building and the additional parking, and the extra crosswalks make that lot easily accessible. Additionally, there is so much nearby public parking that I almost decided to not even choose the $25/month parking. I have had a great experience dealing with the management. Britney, the residence manger, helped me work through the lease paperwork quickly and easily. I have also had the opportunity to meet two of the residence maintenance crew, Dewey, and Chris (Dewey if I mis-spelled your name, I am sincerely sorry!). Both individuals are fantastic people, and I know that if I have any issue that one of the maintenance crew will kindly come and help me out. One thing which was especially important to me was overall noise levels in my studio apartment. I have been here for a week, and I can say that I do not think I have heard one of my neighbors in their apartment a single time. Occasionally you hear a few footsteps in the hallway, but they are transient and the noise is gone within a few seconds. I am sure they are all great people who I would love to meet, but I am profoundly happy that in this concrete walled apartment, I do not have to hear anybody else. To reiterate; I have been here for a week so far, and I had a great experience moving in, as well as living here so far. Thanks! -Jim Swenson
I moved from out of the state and the management team made everything easy. I got pictures of the apartment before I signed the lease. Move in was quick and easy and I have not had any issues since moving in August 2019. It Is close to the green and blue lines and there are fun restaurants in the area.
Only 39 underground parking provided. I am on the 8th place on the waitlist of underground parking, as I moved in Mid-August. I didn't know before I sign the lease. Basically, if no one moves out, you won't get the parking spot. It drives me crazy, especially, it's Minnesota. I would not recommend this place if you cannot make sure you have reserved parking.
The studios are very modern and conveniently located near the lightrail and buses. I really like the Nest thermostat app. Washer/Dryer in unit and the gym in the building are so convenient

WOW, what a beautiful place to live! Wonderful amenities, dog friendly and professionally managed. Our son was one of the first people to move in when it opened in August 2017 and he LOVES living at The Ray. (He recommended it so highly that now WE are moving in!) Brita (The Community Manager) has been amazing. She is so knowledgeable, responsive, helpful, patient and friendly. We can't wait to make The Ray our Minnesota home!

Small studios feel much larger in person due to high ceilings and strategic floorplans. Apartments are quiet and clean. I'm a professional doctorate student who enjoys the quiet and privacy Ray offers. Only a 10 min greenline ride to the University of Minnesota campus. I love the modern feel of the apartments and I love that the apartments come with a nest thermostat I can control with my phone or Google home. I enjoy living in such a conveniently located apartment that is safe and feels like home for me.
