Property Ratings at Red Bank Run Townhomes
I've lived here for a year, and waited a year purposely just to write this review. I absolutely love it here. I love that I have a washer and dryer, the only con to it is that they are on top of each other and not in a really comfortable way but still nice and grateful to have them. I love my dishwasher and garbage disposal, although the dishwasher is old, still gets the job done. The floor boards are old as well so the steps creek really loud walking up and down them. I love the amount of storage space I have here. I have one big closet in the living room which I can fit so much in and still have so much space left! Meanwhile upstairs I have another closet, small size in the hallway and a huge walk in closet in the bedroom and in my second bedroom another good size closet. The heating and air conditioner are good. Fair warning about the electric bill. everything is electric in the apartment and that's how they get you, the stove is electric as well as the heat and add on the washer and dryer running. The electric bill doesn't get too bad but it's still something to watch for. It's a nice quiet area, the people are nice, you can be outside and leave your stuff out and people are very respectful of the property. With all being said. I love it here, I've made a home here and aside from the price of rent and electric I am happy here.
They have accepted tenant rent by the 15th of the month without legal fees for the entire 7 years I lived here. Now the new district manager "Dana"decides to inforce the rules so rent is due on the 1st late after 5th okay that's fair...As of the 7th court $275.00 in addition to rent and late fee. They can have this ancient dump! I was already on the fence about moving, well not anymore.
The maintainence is unprofessional. As work orders are not done within a reasonable time. & You don't feel comfortable living here & The appliances are old & used.
This used to be a better complex. Now there are so many kids running amok and ruining it. They block the streets while walking or riding bikes and they do not move for your car. Now the kids are stealing from people's cars all over the complex. They may not even live in the apartments but it's not a gated community so people can walk wherever whenever. And they do. Numerous times I have been woken up at night by people outside walking through with groups of people and they make a lot of noise. We've lived here two years now and have already signed a new lease. Unfortunately I'm now wishing I could get out of it.. Other than the problems with the horrible children and strange people walking through, the maintenance is great. They're very prompt and are always updating the buildings. The office staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I love 99% of my neighbors. You also can't beat having two stories and a washer and dryer in the unit. All the good things aside, I know for a fact we will not be signing another lease here next year.
