Although surrounded by inhospitable desert, Phoenix is one of the largest cities in the United States, and the nation’s single largest state capital city. The area contains numerous galleries and museums, putting the people in contact with everything from the European masters to Native American craftsmanship to modern originals from Phoenix’s diverse artistic community. The Downtown cultural scene has developed into a top-notch feast of visual and performing arts, with symphony performances, live theater, and the popular First Friday exhibitions. Phoenix is also an excellent city for sports fans, being one of the few cities in America with local franchises in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL. Several thousand students attend the two Arizona State University campuses in the city, as well as the over-50,000 who attend the main campus in neighboring Tempe.

Property Ratings at Red Hawk
I've been tenant for approximately 3 1/2 years and it safe to say this community is pretty pleasant to live in. Office (Josh) and maintenance staff are pretty great no complaints. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. Larry and Lenny have been pretty great to me to say the least.Their professionalism and work ethic is amazing.
Major complaints: -Apartment was NOT clean when we moved in, stains all over the showers, sloppy paint job, nails sticking out of the carpet, stuck drawer that was never fixed, dents in the countertops, I could go on and on. -NOT a safe place to live. Started out okay, but now there's constant crack heads getting in through the gate, car break ins, balcony break ins, and now recently my husband was threatened by teens scoping out vehicles when he caught them. -Forced valet trash that was not mentioned in the lease, but they can't get better security even though that's what all the residents want. -Pest and pigeon problem. -Lafronce at the front desk is rude and unfriendly, makes you feel stupid on the phone. I'm really disappointed because I really wanted to love living here. The rent just isn't worth a lack of safety and the shape of the apartment upon move in. We will definitely be leaving as soon as our lease is over. We're literally counting down the months to find somewhere else.
There a lot of issues with this community. They keep the front where they’ll take you on a tour looking very nice and the office and pool are kept up. The rest of the community is trashed. Maintenance doesn’t clean up anywhere. If you walk through you’ll be walking through fallen palm trees and bird droppings everywhere. They claim this is a gated community but the back gates are always left open. Cars are constantly broken into and packages are stolen from doorsteps. Homeless people have started sleeping in the community and the management won’t do anything about it. They send out communication that residents should avoid the homeless people and call the police if you feel unsafe. Dog owners are a constant problem here. Nobody picks up after their pets and dogs bark all day and night. Management refuses to do anything about this as well. Look elsewhere. You can find much better communities for the same monthly rent.
The good thing about this apt they do bbq and activity with residents! The work orders get done in 24 hours . Office staff is nice and helpful. The down fall no parking , stray cats & baby kittens, dog & cat poop on ground . And big dogs are here leaving mess on grass and walk ways because there owner don’t pick up . People play music and are loud around pool area . There are people from street that come to dig trash and leave mess. You have to buy internet to make a phone call !! It’s the area .But other then that it’s ok it’s APT living !!
The worst place ever staff is rude hard to get a hold of and just rude can't believe how they treat there fellow residents there, I wouldn't recommend it this place is just bad id rather stay homeless than to leave here honestly, they will try to charge you for anything possibly can!!! This place will just ruin your credit that's all they try to do!!!
Lived here for 1 year. It is very quiet. I couldn't hear my neighbors they keep the landscaping very clean and the women in the office are very nice. The only thing I disliked was how close the parking spots were my car got a lot of damage due to this and the feral cats that are all over the apartments they scratched up my car.
Pros; -Gated. -Thick walls can't hear the neighbors at all. -Beautiful Property, the pool area is beautiful... bbq area, misters, and hot tub with fire pit -Close to A LOT of places to eat at and places to shop. Downtown Tolleson is walking distance. - It's very quiet at night. -Very friendly staff. . Cons; -Spider webs, I don't really mind them because they're good for my garden. -A/c is out of date, it's not digital so electric is a little high in the summer. -They say pet friendly, but it seems like all of the residents hate dogs, one bark (during the day) and you get a call from the office. It's the best place I've lived, so far, and I plan on staying as long as my job stays close!
A week ago, I would have given this a three star rating. Upon move in we had a thermostat from the 70s (even though these apartments were built in 2003) but I called maintenance because the air wouldn't turn off, and they were here in less 10 minutes with a digital thermostat. It's quiet here, it's beautiful. The only down side, you can smell the farms of humid days and it's really not that pleasant.
I love living here and have been here for 3yrs. My apartments are very secure and serious about their residents security. We have patrol that makes you feel safe all times of the night. And they make it very easy to contact them in the event you need them! This is the best place to truly call home. And the ladies in the office are totally awesome.
I have lived here going on 3 years with my boyfriend. Everyone is very friendly. They know us by name and not by apartment number. If something needs to be fixed they are quick to respond. The grounds are kept nice and clean everyday. I really like it here.
