Property Ratings at Reed Townhomes
Not luxury, but pretty nice. Several things built cheap that they will hold you responsible for at checkout. VERY shady checkout process. Do NOT rent here. The lease may state "damages above normal wear and tear", but they took advantage, overcharged ($47 to replace 2 light bulbs?! Give me a break), and did not stand by the checkout out paperwork that is signed speaking to the condition at move out. They claim we owe them money for a unit that was in great condition on our part and needed work on their part. They charged us for things they never came to fix from work orders that they were responsible for. We spent hours cleaning and they want to charge more than a days worth for cleaning. Poor communication with tenants about check in and out. Decent place to live, but overall negative and unfortunate experience and happy to be out of there.
After the constant thefts, cars racing down the street, vehicle vandalism, and harassment by the management team, we are finding another place to live. Since moving in a year ago, we have had extensive damage done to our vehicles, and one vehicle stolen out of our driveway twice!! This is a dangerous area for kids and is overrun with criminal activity. These "luxury" town homes do not have airconditioning and were cheaply built. The management team does not talk to its tenants, but rather leaves harassing letters taped to your door for you to come home to. If you are looking for a safe, quiet, and comfortable place to live, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This place was by far the worst renting experience I have had.
Only been here a month and it is a great unit, in a quiet area. I love that I can have my big dog! Nice staff too.
