Property Ratings at Reflections Apartments
Unfortunately this place deserves 0 stars but that’s not an option. Feeling unsafe at the place you call home is unsettling to say the least. If you’re going to listen to one review let it be this one. Roaches, trash, theft, poor management, poor maintenance, and guaranteed amenities that have not worked since I moved in. I’m a female in her 20s on a tight budget so my expectations looking for an apartment were never high but this experience has been worse than I could imagine. I have had to put in over 20 maintenance requests since may. Most of which are the same request being re put in because they were not done properly the first time. I got my car stolen off of the property which I am lead to believe would not have happened if the gated community i was promised was actually gated. The gates have not worked since moving in in May. One of the pools was green for weeks and not usable. The pest control has sprayed my unit 3 times and we’ve seen an increase in bugs ironically. I have talked to the property manager as well as the regional manager multiple times trying to get out of my lease without having to spend two months rent to break it. Although they were understanding with my frustrations it’s disappointing I was never given any resolutions or plans on how to improve my situation. I know my problems are not the property managers fault or the regional managers fault but a little accountability from the company would be appreciated. My car was stolen i believe on 11/26. I made my property manager aware that Monday since it was the thanksgiving holiday and then weekend. I asked for the camera footage 12/3 and then again on 12/5 and she said she doesn’t have footage going back that far which was surprising to me since it wasn’t even a week. I had an in person meeting set with the property manager and was greeted by a vape sitting front and center in front of my chair when I sat down which I found wildly unprofessional but makes sense with how this has been handled. This review doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the other issues I’ve had. Lesson learned on this place.
The apartment itself was actually nice, but the leasing staff…. AWFUL. They WILL try to over charge you. I was charged for 3 pets (there’s a 2 pet limit… so how would that even be possible) for the first couple months I lived there. Talked to the leasing office multiple times and they never took care of it until they tried to tell me I had a balance on my account from not paying for the 3rd pet. My rent wasn’t prorated for my move out until I had to talk to someone about it in person because no one answered my emails. I was charged $200 extra on my move out balance. They don’t care about the people that live there. There was also an incident where the knob on the door broke to get into the apartments… no one could get in or out, HUGE fire hazard!!! They didn’t fix it for hours. The leasing staff will also lie to you and tell you something different every single time. I was told by multiple different leasing staff information regarding my apartment then when it’s brought up to the community manager they have no records of what I was told. So they either lied or changed the dates so it would be after I signed paperwork… like they were trying to avoid a legal issue that could arise from the situation. They act like they try and help you but in reality they are just after your money and could care less about you. My advice… run and never look back unless you have a lawyer and $1,000 laying around.
When I moved into my apartment it was as if they didn't even know we were coming. The toilet was broken, the tub was not finished, the window in the master bedroom was broken, the stove didn't work and my key was not activated. The staff while nice, was exceptionally unprepared and the maintenance staff unprofessional. Upon awaiting repairs for our apartment the suite we were given keys to stay in was not clean, sheets were dirty, cobwebs were in the corners, and it had bed bugs. The original presentation of an apartment here at Reflections may seem okay but the underlining overall conditions are below average at best but more accurately put unsatisfactory and disappointing
If you want to live in a frat house, strip club, auto body shop, theft city, dogs barking & roaming free central and etc....Then this is the place for you. You would think being a tenant would give you a say so but no. You will end up not getting sleep, having personal property damage and 9 times out of 10 speaking with property manager as well as staff with such issues and being brushed off. If you have a family, morals, bills, personal property, a car and etc... This is not the place for you.
If I could give this apartment complex zero stars, I would. At first it seemed like a nice place to live. Move-in went smoothly and maintenance was quick and the maintenance people were friendly. However, I noticed terrible mold behind the fridge as I was moving out, my dishwasher barely worked, and there was a huge roof leak and they left my place dirty after they fixed it. I also experienced 3 break-ins. After the second one I requested a security camera for the building for my safety and the safety of other tenants and it was DENIED. This company does not care about the safety of its tenants. Because I was a full-time student I was unemployed when I rented this place, they wanted a large deposit. Despite my high credit score, they made me pay a $500 deposit. I agreed, because I would get it back anyways. It's been 2 months since I was able to break off the lease due to the break-in and they never gave me back my money! Now they are accusing me of owning a pet when I never did, and they are charging ME money after such an outrageous deposit. Never met such an unsympathetic, vile company in my whole life. I think they were taking advantage of me knowing that I was not from the country, and I'm thinking of getting my lawyer involved. For your safety and bank account DO NOT move to this place.
We rented from them for 13 months. The unit had an absolutely wonderful location close to shopping and north side jobs. We overlooked the fact they were unsafe (thefts, thefts of received packages, and burglaries were the norm in the neighborhood). Don't worry you are required to have renters insurance, they won't make you move until your second claim in a 60 day period we were told by our neighbor. We were not bothered by our outdated, inefficient, and loud appliances (stoves and stackable washers) because we are old and almost deaf anyway and had low expectations for the place. We overlooked the very aggressive, rude, and unprofessional manager Denise and the Sales lady Sam both because we are good people and know it takes all kinds to make the world go around. We didn't mind that the maintenance staff was unprofessional (we noticed the maintenance staff often didn't bring tools or supplies needed at time of repair, wrote us rude and condescending comments on our orders, were nosey in our belongings, and didn't call us using our actual phone number on our profile before entering our unit because we expected nothing of them anyway. It didn't bother us that the trash heaped over into the street from the one trash compactor where we had to haul our trash to on our car's hood or carry halfway across the property because we always just hoisted ours up into the compactor even if we had to pole vault to do it. We were okay with fact the gates would go weeks without being fixed stuck open and people drive the wrong way, because we own two old junker cars and didn't care who came on in. The pizza man could, and that's all that mattered to us! The big court yard in the middle is a good place to let your kids run loose and get out of your hair. Good luck from our family to yours.
Be very careful to move here !!!! Not refundable deposit !!!! customer service is a terrible !!! The worst place where I lived in the world !!!!! Personally, my opinion of this place.
I have lived here for 3 months and overall I do like the complex, but recently I came home from work and my place had been robbed. They stole a lot of stuff and must have taken their time. I feel they live in the complex whomever they are and now I don't know if I want to stay. There are no cameras on grounds and the staff seemed not to care very much about the robbery. It is a gated community, but the gate really serves no function other then to malfunction all the time. Other then that the apartments are very spacious for the money and built in washer and dryer is a major plus. I know bad things happen and overall the complex is very nice, but be aware if you move into any place you should get a security system installed right away. I still like this place but its hard to be more positive when management scoffs off something as serious as a robbery.
I have looked at so many apartments and this one is it!! Reflections is one of the few apartments that comes with a washer and dryer AND has the most square foot per dollar. The pool is awesome and the bark park is pretty cool. Most issues were solved within 48 hours and the dishwasher works well. I have lived here for 4 years and plan on living here till I get a house!
Just moved here with my two daughters and so far we love our townhouse! Every maintenance request has been on time. No complaints yet!
As a United States Marine, we are trained in to have incredible attention to detail and to maintain dedication and motivation to carry out our mission to the best of our ability. The Reflection Apartment Homes embody that sense of accomplishment and dedication to customer service as well as making you feel like you are at home, the staff is virtuous and friendly. The homes are clean, respectable and modern. Of all the places I have lived through out my career both inside and outside the military. Reflection Apartment homes has been the best apartment that I have had the pleasure of living at and would immediately recommend Reflections, or any Ardizzone Group complex. They have shown a fantastic attention to detail and commendable customer service and I see myself staying with Ardizzone for many years to come.
nice apartment. The washer and dryer in the unit is a huge plus.
For the price you pay, this apartment is a very good value. Washer and dryer in unit was a huge selling feature to me. The apartment itself doesn't have a whole lot of frills, but I don't need them. Compared to area apartments, this is one of the best, in my opinion.
We have lived in our townhome for about 2 months now. We were recommended from friends that this was a great apartment complex and they enjoyed living here. We checked them out and we really liked the townhomes. The price was affordable. Our apartment had new carpet and was very clean when we moved in. We have had 2 maintenance problems but the apartment complex was quick to fix them. Our air conditioner broke and they were here to fix it right away. The apartment complex staff is very nice and we enjoy living here. The community is safe.
I have lived in different apartments over the past few years. I feel Reflections Apartments actually do have great management and do care for their residents.
i have been living here for 5 years, i like the way the apts are kept up , grass cut on a regular basics, quiet everyone keeping to them selves , near alot of shopping areas, when you trust God he will put you in the right place , this place has lots of parking areas, walking spaces for your dogs also no one will give you a great place to live, stop on by the Reflections will...................
I love my apartment. Rent could always cost less but considering what I have it's the best deal I found. The maintenance staff fixes everything so quickly. I have read negative reviews about that on websites but I always get help the day after I notify them. The place keeps up to date and they are very easy going. Overall pretty quiet atmosphere especially for an apartment complex. I would recommend.
The good Washer and dryer in every unit, a dishwasher, and a place to grill. The maintains team is so great they are fast and friendly. Only downside, the insulation is not the best so you will spend more on heat in the winter.
Reflections is the best! I've been a very satisfied resident for 4 years.
The Reflection Apartments are truly awesome. From well kept Grounds to awesome unit amenities you can not choose a better place to rent. The units are very clean from corners to under the sinks and that is really hard to come by for an apartment. I love this place!! look no where else you have found your home if you choose the reflections!! Professional staff and centrally located to EVERYTHING you need and the PRICE is great!
I renewed my lease for two tomes so far. It's a really good complex, nice apartments, very good neighborhood .
This is a good start up place to live . The location is great. The management/ mantainence do a good job at taking care of issues.
Good customer service and they repairs quick nice look neat have everything u may think of good everoment just like brand new
I LOVE THE APARTMENT I LIVE IN, LOTS OF SPACE AND I FEEL SAFE IN MY APARTMENTS. IF EVERY A PROBLEM, MAINTANCE IF ALWAYS ON TIME. ALSO NICE PRICE FOR 2 BR 1 AND HALF BATH. FULL SIZE WASHER AND DRYER INCLUDED.
When I first moved to Reflections I had issue after issue. I've noticed a 360 degree turnaround in Management & staff! Everyone's finally working as a team and that's what it's all about! Kudos to the Reflections Team!
I have lived at Reflections Apartments for the last two years, and just currently signed my lease for a third! The apartments here are affordable, and so close to so many great stores and restaurants in or near the 86th and Ditch area. The staff at Reflections is very accommodating and helpful, and they really make themselves available for all of the residents. I have needed to call maintenance after hours many times, for issues ranging from a broken light to no running water. All of these times, maintenance has been on top of the situation and so helpful in getting the problems fixed. I appreciate that Reflections is a gated community, and I feel safe living in my building and walking in the surrounding area. I would recommend Reflections to anyone who is looking for an affordable, safe, and friendly community to make their home!
Was looking to relocate closer to work. Had looked at houses, townhomes and apartments. My very last stop was Reflections. My studio apartment is bigger than some one-bedroom apartments I looked at. Very satisfied. Quiet neighborhood.
Reflections is an amazing complex. They have added a dog park because they are understanding to all residents needs (including dogs). Maintenence is super face and always provides the best repair crew ever! I live living in such an amazing place!
I live in a studio at Reflections Apartments in Indianapolis. It's spacious, has a washer/dryer in the apartment which is great, and the maintenance has always been really quick to respond to my requests. You do have to pay extra for water, trash, and need to have renter's insurance which are all things I would like to see advertised on the apartment website b/c a heads up is nice. If you pay your rent online, there is convenience fee ($5 I think) which seems a little ridiculous to me. Overall, it is a pretty good place and reasonably priced.
Well I haven't been here long enough to really rate it and get all the secret details but so far I'm pleased. Things seem to be going well. It's not too loud or too smelly. Overall a good location too!
Cleanness property ever, you can hear a pin drop in your apartment; parcels, if not at my door I know its in the office. Extremely good services; you ask and its done quickly; two security doors; quit and very safe, a wash and dryer in my apartment, a lot of space in your apartment, double closets; heat and air-conditioning when you take a walk ever so quit; everywhere; perfection as heaven.
I've lived in many apartments and homes all over Indianapolis. From north to south, east to west, the northwest side has brought me my greatness achievement! Being a single female, the location and safety features of Reflections is ideal. I have easy access to grocery and even clothing stores and superstores, and my pick of dining options from fast food to finer dining. Major roads and expressways are within easy access and the gated community and locked entry ways bring me the safety I need. Not only is the location of Reflections ideal, but the amenities are quite superb. Living in a studio, I have a washer and dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, the option of a gas stove and a walk in closet. The pool and workout faculty are well kept and always an enjoyable experience. I have never been bothered with excessive noise and everyone is always cordial and polite. I have and will continue to recommend Reflections to anyone looking for a new home. It has been a wonderful investment for me!
Hello, My name is Tamora and I've recently moved into Reflections 4 months ago and I have to say I've loved every minute of being here. From the neighbors to the staff to the maintenance team. I was welcomed with open arms, the process was easy straight forward and just like that I had my keys, and the same day I moved in. The community is quiet, the grounds are well kept and groomed, there are two nice sized pools and a workout room available 24 hours with your gate key. They are pet friendly so they have a dog park and also playground for the children. The staff sees to your every need and the maintenance team gets the job done as soon as possible. I have to say I couldn't have picked a more affordable beautiful apartment to live in.
One of the reasons I initially chose Reflections is that it's the prettiest complex on the street. There are trees everywhere, flowers, the whole deal. When I asked management if I could plant in the plot next to my door, they said I could, and gardening has been one of the chief joys that make me feel like I'm truly home. What I didn't discover until we were moved in was that there are a lot of food options nearby. Two 24-hour supermarkets and a bunch of restaurants along every step of the price chain (though mostly cheaper, thank goodness). Maintenance has been very handy, too. When we moved in we had to give them a rather long list of requests to get everything up to what we needed, but every time we've had a request they've shown up within 24 hours. I mean, EVERY time. I've learned a lot about how the machinery in my home works as a result of the friendly technicians at Reflections. Overall I'm pretty happy! There's a reason the last time we moved we just moved to a bigger place within the same complex. It's been a good experience.
I had been in reflections for past 2 years...its been a great stay altogether...in winter get into hibernation mode and in summer assemble for play, potlock and grilling in the ground...quite a fun and never ran into any issue which makes more important to continue over here.
Reflections Apartments is a quiet community that is near my school and any restaurants in which I would care to eat. Shopping is also nearby, with Walmart and Kroger within 3 miles. I feel secure with having to access a main locked door just to get to my apartment's locked door. Also, being a student, you get your application fee and administrative fee taken off the first months rent. Great place to live.
