Property Ratings at Reflections of Island Park
The neighborhood is peaceful and the pool is not bad, but is kind of dirty. The fitness center is poor quality, the TV and AC don't work which makes it a sauna. Overall their customer service is below par. They are hard to get a hold of especially if you try to contact them off hours and when you leave a message they often don't get back to you for days. Their form of communication is jamming papers through the door which doesn't work if you don't come home everyday. Their community internet/cable was not working for about 2 months but still had to pay. My AC, fan, and garbage disposal waited about a month to get fixed and the AC still isn't working well. The front gate has not worked except for about 3 days for the entire year. The office doesn't want to answer your calls which makes it hard to cancel your lease or get something fix. I work normal working hours while they're open so I have called 5 times and sent them a message on their website and still no response. In addition they switch the company for their automatic rent payment, gave 4 day warning and I was out of town, by the time I came back they had charged me a late fee.
I found consistencies in how the rules are applied, the rules spoken and written never seemed to be consistent. Make sure everything is clear up front. The apartments are older, hence a lot of maintenance issues. These are usually handled in a timely manner if they occur Monday through Friday. Garage is awesome. There is a lot of noise from neighbors upstairs. Pool rules are not enforced. Memorial Day, the pool was full of non-residents. It was trashed with pool toys and debris on the ground. One couple with a child said they had special permission to swim by the management. This is in conflict with management's stated rules.
Found the rules spoken and written never seemed to be consistent. Make sure everything is clear up front. Front office is a little scattered. Nice spacious apartment. Garage is awesome. Be ready for tons of noise from neighbors-I had to hear domestic disputes. Pool noise is loud late in the night.
I love having a garage attached to my apartment! My apartment is huge and my KING BED fit in my bedroom with room to spare! Maintenance has been quick fix my few small issues. Love it so far!
I cannot imagine living anywhere else in Shreveport! I love living so close to shopping, dining, and also close to all interstates! Office staff and maintenance are always helpful and quick to respond. Do yourself a favor and only move ONCE to Reflections! I lived in two not so good complexes before I found this great one!
We have only been in the apartment for just a few weeks. We have had a great experience so far and I'm sure will continue to do so. The office staff and the maintenance people are very nice and helpful. We love it here! ?
This is the absolute best apartment community I have ever lived in! Not only are the apartments HUGE, but you get an attached garage, access to the pool and gym, and a great neighborhood to live in. I would highly recommend this community to anyone. It may seem expensive, but when you take into account all the perks (not to mention lovely maintenance and office staff) it is 100% worth it! I absolutely hated to move out, but I will always remember the luxury of living at Reflections of Island Park.
This apartment has been great. It's spacious and the first floor apartments have garages with direct access into your apartment. The garage door is a little small so you have to be very careful when driving in or out of your garage. Everything is pretty well maintained and if anything is wrong, maintenance is pretty quick to come fix it.
I have truly enjoyed my stay here. I don't have to worry about a thing from the cable bill to parking. All the residents are friendly and the staff are helpful. This is my home and I love it.
I have lived here for 3 years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. I love my apartment and the garage is amazing!! I do not have to wrestle for a parking spot anymore like I have had to do at previous places. I honestly have no complaints, just a great home.
