Since new management took over, the manager and assistants especially B have been awesome to me and my family. The customer service is great, and anything we need or any maintenance requests, its been taken care the same day. I’ve been a resident for two years and I love it.

We lived in this complex for two years before we decided our family was outgrowing this place. A few of our experiences here were completely unacceptable and definitely a big warning to anyone who plans to live here. First, this complex has gone through 5 management companies within the past two years now, of course no explanation to why but I’m sure it’s not a good sign when they can’t even keep the same set of employees in their office. With each management company has also come with drastic rule change, pertaining to everything from parking, trash schedule, and even where they store packages that are delivered to their complex (I’ve had two packages stolen from here, they will simply tell you sorry there is nothing we can do about it). When they knew we were “upgrading” to a bigger apartment under their facility they let us move out two months early despite our contract with absolutely no fees included, even gave us our deposit back, but whenever they found out we were moving out for good a year later (we have children 3, which i feel our family was definitely outgrowing an apartment) was when they decided to play by the contract, they wanted every penny out of us despite the fact that they had not done this in the past when it was to their benefit. They also don’t have an appropriate policy for dogs, we’ve seen every breed of dog in that complex, despite weight, and breed. They will do anything to bring people to their facility, since business from what we have witnessed in the past is plummeting, they will break any rules for you to be there don’t worry about that but when you decide to leave please be aware of what they are capable of doing. And be aware of the frequent rule changes you will have to endure since they can’t even keep the same employees in their facility, i have also spoken to former neighbors who have told me they were attempting to kick them out if they did not agree to let them “upgrade” their apartments and then raise the rent because of the upgrade. Please be aware of what they are capable of doing, very unprofessional, and unacceptable.

Regarding our pet policy, our property-wide policy includes no breed or weight restrictions, but rather we require a screening interview with the owner and pet before move-in date. Regatta Bay has been a great apartment community choice for our family! We've lived here for 5 months and we have really enjoyed it here ! 1st: The location is awesome...walking distance to a beautiful park, splash pad and nature walk/trail. When we venture into the neighborhood, we are minutes from Seabrook restaurants, shopping, Kemah entertainment and NASA area too. For me, driving home in the evenings from work and seeing the sunset over Clear Lake each day is a welcome sight ! 2nd: The apartment is fabulous! We love the multi-colored carpet, black appliances, vaulted ceiling in the living room, huge picture windows, and wonderful view from our patio in the treetops makes it feel homey and luxurious. 3rd: Maintenance and Grounds: The lawn crew arrives on-site like clockwork every Monday morning to mow. The Regatta Maintenance crew can be seen every morning early walking the property and picking up any all trash, or any debris from the night before. I've never seen a can, cup, piece of trash, or paper every stay on the grounds. 4th: Neighbors: We've only lived here for 5 months but we've already made so many friends. The neighbors are friendly, say hi and good morning. We know them on a first name basis and even our dog has made several new doggie friends too! They have a Pet Park on the property which is great for off-leash play time. 5th Office Staff: I can't say enough nice things about Cynthia in the office. She is always smiling, helpful, compassionate and professional ! Moving to Regatta Bay was the best move we've made !
This place has really gone the tubes. It's a nice complex for the most part. Fairly quiet too. However, the gate has been broken for a year now. You pay for a gated community with a gate that never works. You contact BH management and they never respond to your calls about the issue. Parking is a mess. Guests don't park in guest parking as requested. Paid parking is hardly ever anywhere near your apartment. They don't follow the towing rules they supposedly set in place. Many cars in the lot have flat tires or are broken down with expired tags. The pool is ALWAYS dirty. Lots of times the water fountain doesn't work nor do the jets. You will have stagnant water there often. There are ants EVERYWHERE on the grounds. They are now getting into the apartments as well. It is sad because it used to be a nice place to live. I would say put your money elsewhere. Don't waste it here.
LOVE, love, love living here. It’s a very quiet and pleasant complex. The landscaping and grounds are very well maintained. There is a security gate for added safety, the pool is always clean and the gym is nice. I know that some have complained about parking however I’ve never had any problem; but I also remember that I live in an apartment and I’m not going to have front door service. The staff is all around courteous, (they even know your pets’ name) and maintenance is quick to resolve problems. Improvements are constantly being made to make it an even better property. Since we’ve been here (a little over a month) they’ve replaced the pool furniture, added a community grill for barbecuing, and changed out all window screens to solar screens (which aren’t cheap) to help fight against the Texas heat all the while helping save on my electric bill. SCORE! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because nothing is perfect, although this place is pretty close.
Very nice office staff. They are helpful and friendly regardless of how stupid my questions get. The units are going through updating as they come open and the pool area has just been redone. It's a gated community that adds more security. Been here for over a year and haven't had any issues. No bugs and the other residents are good peeps too.
