Property Ratings at Regatta
My wife and I moved here as our first apartment. When moving in we were told the pool was open 24 hours a day. Since moving in we've been told it closes at 10 and that anyone in the pool after will have the police called on them. In addition they now require each person using the pool to wear a band showing they're a member of the community. That's okay except they're $50 each. They also charge a cam fee of $40 a month that they can change as much as they want. When moving in we didn't have much time to research and were told we could turn the inspection form in whenever we can. We've since found out it needs to be turned in within 48 hours of moving in. This is understandable but the blatant lie is not. My car was also towed and I've found that the towing company they use is predatory. The biggest reason we chose this apartment was the fireplace which was broken when we moved in. We called to get it fixed and when maintenance showed up they berated my wife about it not being an emergency. Maintenance will also show up whenever they want even if you tell them to only come on certain days. My wife is anxious around maintenance now because of this and because they've come in while we're sleeping several times. The complex also keeps trying to sign us up for renters insurance even though we have a policy. The sinks and washer and dryer smelled horrible when we moved in and after calling maintenance they did nothing. The gate is closed inconsistently at best and there's never enough parking. The app they use to pay rent is also horrible and you have to use it as they no longer accept checks. I'm sure there's more too but that's all I remember off the top of my head. Tldr they'll charge every fee under the sun and maintenance will spit in your face while the amenities you moved in for don't even work.

We apologize for the negative experience you had with our maintenance staff. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we will address this issue to ensure better service in the future. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Overpriced. Sketchy people walking around at all times of night because no working gate. No access to amenities after business hours. There is a 300$ late fee for being 1 day late on rent. I’ve seen tons of people moving out, I’m sure everyone else is tired of them taking advantage of people financially during a pandemic too. DONT MOVE HERE

We're truly sorry you feel that way, though we'd be lying if we said we recognized the community described in your review. In fact, we're quite proud of the five-star service we provide to each and every member, to say nothing of the warm and welcoming environment we've cultivated over the years. If you'd like to discuss your thoughts further, please feel free to contact us directly. A member of our leasing team will be more than happy to clear up any misunderstandings you may have. Thank you.
Got stuck with a $1400 bill to replace the carpet when I moved out, despite the fact that the poor condition of the carpet and vinyl was documented when I moved in. I even gave them photos. They want to upgrade their units, but don’t want to pay for it. Be ware. If you move in, document everything and keep copies. And watch where you step. There is dog poo everywhere.

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the charges on your move out statement. We would love to speak to you about your concerns. Please call the office and speak with the manager so we can help.
there is a new management team and they are awful. They told us there was a new team the day before rent was due and brought a new system on that won’t work with my bank. I went there to get help and they did nothing. The next day I received a note saying I have 1 day to pay or I’m evicted. Glad I went to you in the first place!! The old management team also owed me money for a broken AC unit I was paying for. I never got the full refund and this new management company had been no help trying to get it.

2020 has pushed us to our limit at least once. I got out of Denver a month ago an moved to Regatta Apts. Yes, only a month but review ready. This has been a relaxing great ride! Such a welcoming, friendly an responsible community. From office staff to neighbors every has been great. Quiet evenings because everyone seems responsibly employed Lol. We pick up after our pets an put trash in the dumpsters, that simple!! My apt is cheerful, love the high ceilings. I can’t hear my neighbors thru the walls an my central air works great yet so quiet. The neighborhood is nice an shopping is conveniently close. I do not miss Denver in any way!! Happy life!! You won’t be disappointed.
Brenda and the office team is very friendly, fast, helpful, and work really hard. Moved in for a week already. Glad i chose Regatta. Plenty of parking spaces and the community is very clean. The residents are very responsible of cleaning up after the pets. The interior of the house is very clean and did a great job of prepping for the next tenant to move in. I lived at other apartments before but so far Regatta apartment is very nice and clean(plumbing, outdoor storage, walls, kitchen, and everywhere in the house is excellent) The maintenance team Andy and Rex and other members are very friendly and efficient as well. Definitely a wonderful place to live and glad I made the right decision!!! Thank you to all the staff.

This recommendation will make our team's week! WOW thank you so much. We have been thrilled to welcome you to Regatta. - SRG Residential Customer Care
Not even halfway through my contact, first of all. Accepted the apartment and moved in with a list of issues; leaks, floorboards coming undone, mold in several areas, toilet not set properly. Since then, I've had thing stolen from my balcony, an attempted break in from possibly my neighbor, have put in several maintenance request that have to be repeated apparently. On top of all that, they removed my air filter and I got paintchips and dust EVERYWHERE which I haven't had resolved after more than a month.
I really have enjoyed my time here, I been at this property for almost 2 years now, the only reason I am moving out its because my roommate it's moving away, so I can not afford it all on my own, otherwise I would love to stay here in this property.
The apartment we have is nice, we enjoy our space. However, rent goes up every year and there's hidden fees, known as cam fees, and service fees that you are required to pay each month, that at first we were told would go down over a period of time, they haven't gone they have gone the opposite, up!
Our experience while living at Regatta Apartments goes with few criticisms. We have had to put in around 3 maintenance orders over the time we have lived here (9 months). They were all addressed in a timely manner, with the exception of the one order that may have been most important though. Our shower wouldn't run when turning the nozzle, we put in a maintenance order and after going unaddressed for almost 4 days I called to confirm our work order was on maintenance's radar. Since we live in a 1bd/1ba unit it was dire to get our shower running again. They had it fixed by the time I came home from work that day. The level of response I have received when needing something fixed has been very well received by the maintenance crew. Some other orders we encountered - water heater (they replaced it), clean air filters (they replaced them), and constantly running toilet (they fixed it). But know, for two of us we pay around $45.00 a month in addition to rent solely for Common Area Maintenance Services. So you'll receive the service you need, but you're paying for it too. The first people you see when entering the office present themselves very well, and have never turned me away. They are helpful, and willing to answer your questions. I recommend stopping by the office, the phones are often tied you and you're left leaving a message to their machine - though they've already returned calls within several hours. The amenities are well kept, and enjoyable. Parking can be a little tight in specific regions of the complex, but they offer parking garages so you either suck it up and walk past 3 buildings to get to yours, or quit complaining and spend the addition $100.00 a month and have a reserved garage. You don't hear your neighbors through the walls, or from across the walk way, and there are lots of kids in the complex with a bus stop located right by the front gates. All around - Regatta has been good to us! - Kait M.
We moved here from Indiana and the Regatta has been nothing but helpful. Being this close to the city and paying a good price for a one bedroom with all of the amenities that they offer is a great deal.
I have been living at The Regatta for a little over 2 months now. The staff is extremely helpful and so is the maintenance crew. They have at least 12 different maintenance guys on call. This community is gated, which I love, although the gate is usually broken and left open at all hours. The parking is good, it is rare that I don't find a spot close to my building. The apartment is AMAZING. It really feels more like a home than a apartment, the high vaulted ceilings and gas fireplace really help. I love this place and don't see myself moving for awhile, I highly recommend it.
The staff is super nice when you’re looking to move in. Forget that once you’re in!!! 1st week there, my niece was actually yelled at for not knowing where to go (she’s 11!!) Maintenance is really bad!! Takes 3 times to request things to be done & even that isn’t a guarantee that the work will get done. Still waiting on a dryer to be fixed that probably caused an electricity bill to more than triple!!! Kids are at the pool screaming after closing time. Parking is a joke!! You get home late, better have your walking shoes on!! Parking lot is in need of MAJOR repairs. Gates to go in and out of the complex don’t work, more than they do! The gate opener you have to pay for, still hasn’t worked even after trying to reprogram it. I’m so glad we’re only in this apartment for another 4 months while our home is rebuilt from a fire. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Way overly priced for the what you get!!
It has everything my boys could want . The staff is very helpful and is willing to work with you .
Fee for this........ Fee for that.... The Regatta Apartments staff was very nice and helpful when we moved in. Now, whenever you enter the office/clubhouse staff is rude and un-willing to help. We have given our notice to vacate and were informed that the tenants must pay to re-paint / clean the apartment at a 300%-400% mark-up. Upon move in tenants must pay a $200.00-$300.00 “service fee” and an additional security deposit. Upon move out it is looking like we going to pay an additional $300.00-$400.00 re-paint / clean fee. As tenants at The Regatta Apartments you pay your own water/sewer/trash..... This is fine, but at an average of $60.00 per month for a one bathroom unit??? Don’t forget the $16.50 service/billing fee attached to your monthly water bill! There was a fire here a while back and now we live in a construction site with zero parking. I am still wondering after all these fees that we have acquired and the marked up utility cost what we are paying our monthly rent for. FYI it is not cheap to live here. Look elsewhere and read/ask questions before signing the lease. We are going to buy a house.
