Property Ratings at Regency Apartments at Southland
Good Place where you can enjoy the vibrancy of commercial area and comfort of residential area. It's a gated residential and pet free apartment, safe and peaceful. and It is near the University of Kentucky. You can go to UK by free bus and few walks in good weather. The apartment manager in here is really great person. Every requests of my house demand was treated very successfully. I'm very satisfied to live in this apartment.
Comfortable, quiet, and safe apartments. Assigned parking and gated
I stayed here in one of the fully furnished apartments for 3 months and it was very nice and clean. The gated entrance made me feel secure. Management is very friendly, and the owner also immediately brought us a new TV to use when we said that the one provided in the apartment was not functioning properly.
I've lived in the apartments for a little over a year and I had an incredible experience! The area was quiet, well kept, and felt very safe. The landlord was always quick to respond and maintenance was very helpful with anything I needed. Highly recommend to anyone!
Lived here for 2 years, amazing area, apartments and community. Very quite, gated with large apartments for the price. Close to shopping, bus routes, and UK. Best complex in Lexington.
Secure, well-maintained and generally quiet property with everything I needed. Management very responsive to potential and actual tenants. Only moving due to new out-of-state job.
We loved living at Regency! The grounds were well-kept and it was nice to have a gated community to live at. The location feels safe and there are grocery stores within walking distance. Management was really good about addressing any concerns that we had quickly and were very friendly.
It is an excellent place to live, it has several things very close, for example Kroger is only two minutes away, it has restaurants nearby, friendly neighbors, it is a safe place and it is located in a great area.
We had a great experience living here. The apartments are in a great area and close to restaurants, shopping, UK, parks, etc. The area is gated, landscaping was always well taken care of, the apartment was in good condition and Mark was great to work with. Definitely recommend!
I was very happy with my unit. It was well maintained, spacious, and quiet. I had a furnished unit and the furniture was in great condition. Management was easy to contact and responded to me promptly. I don't think I could have found a better value at another complex. Definitely recommend!
We lived for a year and two months and loved it. We moved to our new home; otherwise, we would have stayed it. It is gated, safe area and the management team is reasonable, responsive and accommodating. Great location with Kroger (walkable 10minute), and other stores/restaurant in close proximity. I'd definitely recommend.
This gated complex was everything I needed in a first apartment. Mark and the team were very responsive to any maintenance issues that came up while I was there. Would definitely recommend! Great family friendly complex!
This was our 2nd apartment living in, and if we weren’t moving to a different state, my boyfriend and I would’ve been living here for years! The condos are super clean, well taken care of, and appliances are in great condition. Reed was more than great to us, by far the best landlord/property manager we’ve met. Thank you Cleremont condos for a great experience!
This was our first apartment in US. Gated, safe and clean apartment having play area for small kids. Helpful manager and good neighbors.
I am a travel nurse and this place was perfect for what I needed. It was fully furnished, clean, quiet, and close to work. I didn’t know the area and it made me feel safer that the complex was gated. It’s also located to nearby shopping. When the weather was nice, I would walk to the grocery store and back home. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Lexington. Mark makes himself available to you 24/7 and that’s a big plus.
This was my first ever apartment fresh out of highschool. Mark made it very easy for me to understand how to get things done. He is super easy to communicate with and the apartments themselves are very nice.
I absolutely loved this apartment complex! Not only is is a gated community but the staff and landlord are so incredible. They always gave us plenty of time in advance to tell us that we need to move cars for new parking lines or to evacuate the apartment in order to spray for pesticides. Which in itself I always appreciated. We never had any problems with bugs because of this. We had a basement level apartment and hardly ever heard noise apart from the train track here and there but nothing too crazy. The landlord Mark was always so understanding of our needs and maintenance requests. Definitely would recommend for anyone, especially anyone with children, to live here. They also have a playground and the bus stop for the nearby middle school is right outside the complex which is a plus! ??
My roommate and I lived here for 2 years and it was great. It's quiet, neighbors are friendly, and any maintenance issues are taken care of super quickly. Gated community made us feel safe. Great place for families. Tons of kids playing all the time. Assigned parking means you never have to hunt for a spot. Close to UK, shopping, and restaurants.
My roommate and I moved in the summer of 2018. The manager was very friendly, the apartment very clean, and people seemed friendly. Two years later, it all stands. The manager is quick to respond and help. Everything is well kept. And the neighbors are great. Highly recommended.
This apartment was very spacious with large rooms and nicely renovated bathrooms. There is plenty of closet space with a little storage area. I especially liked having a full size washer and dryer in my unit. Convenient location. It was close to shopping, dinning, Kroger field and hospitals.
Surrounding area has everything you could ever need. Amazing location and quiet complex. Police live on sight so it is very safe as well! I'd recommend this to anyone needing a place to stay in Lexington.
Very helpful staff and friendly people around the complex. Great benefits along with the rent prices. Furniture provided was also very good.
I live the apartment for one year and do research in UK. My daughter and I very like here, it makes me feel like living in my own country. When I came to Lexington last year, Mark picked us up at blueglass airport. He also can provide friendly communication with you about release.
I have been a travel nurse for 5 years and this place is absolutely the best place I've stayed si far. Its clean, safe, well maintained, and furnished with nice comfortable furniture. I loved that everything was included in the price. If I ever find myself back in Lexington I will for sure be back here. If you are looking for safe, clean, everything included short term housing this is definitely the place for you!
Great apartments in a safe neighborhood. I lived there for a year and my apartment had newly installed washer, dryer unit. These apartments have a lot of storage space for one person and the administration/maintenance people are very helpful 24x7.
We lived there nine months. We loved this property. It’s a safe, comfortable and well managed place. The management is very responsive. Our apartment was a furnished one including washer and dryer. Since we had a newborn baby, these machines were very helpful for us. The apartment is heated with gas. During winter you can heat the house comfortably and what you paid is much cheaper than the electric heated ones. It is just 10 minutes to Kroger by walk. Good location to reach UKY as well as hospitals and city center.
Very nice neighborhood, Very clean apartments. I enjoyed my time!
The are is quite, everyone is very friendly and the manager is very helpful. Thank you for eveything.
I've resided here almost 2 years now and never been happier with a rental. The entertainment, shoppes and restaurants in the Southland area are awesome. Marikka's Volleyball Bar, Winchell's, the Good Foods Co-op, Old KY Chocolates all within walking distance. It's close to public transit and in the best school district in town. My nephew lives with me and I can honestly say I wouldn't feel safer having him anywhere else other than at the Regency Apartments!!
We moved from California, sight unseen. The manager was VERY accomodating. He measured windows and specific walls so I could plan the rooms before we arrived. He was very responsive and went above and beyond to help us feel most comfortable about the move. The landlord is on top of fixes and went out of his way to seal our door because he noticed on his own that we needed a door seal. Whenever we have had an issue with our apt it has been addressed asap on the day I reported the issue. I've never been left waiting. The community's playground is awesome and the gate makes it feel safe. The only thing I don't love is being near the train tracks - not something that can be changed. You can hear the trains but the pros definitely out weigh that one con for us. Grounds are always clean and families are friendly. The price is very reasonable for what you get and how you are taken care of.
We've been here for a month and so far we love it. The area is quiet, everybody is very friendly, and the premises are always clean.
Great price, great location and safe place. Guests are getting more for their money when compared to other apartments in this city. The Regency Apartments is within a 10-minute drive of downtown Lexington and the University of Kentucky. It is within a 2-minite drive of Kroger, TJ Max, Save a lot,or Good Food, very convenient. It offers laundry facilities, free parking and excellent household services. The householder Debbie gave us a very warm welcome when we moved in. It is the only apartments with walls and gate we saw in Lexington, which is very safe for kids. A playground with slides, basketball stands, benches and pavilion are in the center of apartments for exercising and social communication. Each apartment building has its own barbecue grill, table and benches for barbecue. Furniture, refrigerator, oven, stove, bed mattress, cabinets for storing utensil and clothes are all provided, very handy. All the facilities in the apartment get good maintenance. You would meet the best handyman and one of the householders Erwin there. Free pick-up from and drop-off to the airport are provided. Due to the flight alteration, we leave the apartment very early. Ervin drove my family to the airport at 3:50 am. It was raining cats and dogs, but Erwin came on time without any complain. Our spirit was not dampened by the heavy rain and sadness of departure, because we are so warmed by his smile, kindness, humor, care, and help --a very good man. If I had to stay longer this would be the place.
The Regency Apartments are great. I've rented here the whole academic year 2016-17. There are so many reasons to pick this place over others: (1) It is quiet - I never was bothered by neighbors. There is some updating and renovation work being done, but always during daytime hours (2) The owners take a hands on approach and want to do things right. Erwin responds very quickly to all requests for assistance. When I lost my key, he got up at 12:30am to let me in. Debi drove over herself the next day to deliver my replacement keys. Repairs are made very quickly. (3) The apartments are large for the rent point. I was swimming in room. (4) The place looks and feels very safe. Two police officers live there and park their patrol cars right there out where everyone can see them, one is right inside the gate. Kids play all over the center playground and scamper around every afternoon until dark. It all feels nice and friendly for families. (5) As a visiting UK professor, I loved the convenience to campus--6-8 minutes to campus. (6) Many grad students, teaching assistants, and fellows live there, often with their families. Many international students and scholars live there with their families, too. With so many cultures and countries represented, everyone can feel at home with your neighbors and their kids--its a big friendly group. (7) Southland is a great neighborhood. All the stores around Southland on Nicholasville Rd and on Southland Drive are a minute or two from these apartments. The local Krogers is one minute away, and it is one of the best Krogers in Lexington. Trader Joes, Good Foods Co-op, the same one-two minutes away. Definitely give this place a shot. You'll like it.
I have lived here for one year,I like the environment of here,a big playground kids like it ,and you can play basketball in here.the distance to UK is only 5-10 minutes by car or by bus,it's also convenient to Kroge and marcy mall.the room is clean to live.my family feel happy to live here.the boss is kind and gentleman.the price is fair.
I was impressed with the management of Regency Apartments, they are actively updating and making the facility better and safer for all the residents. We had no issues with management or neighbors. There are 2 police officers that live there as well as management installing an automated gate. They are working toward building fencing surrounding the property. They are also very proactive with maintenance. They had issues with some newly installed electrical panels, they proactively replaced these to improve safety of the residents. They suspected a leak in the toilet and changed the entire toilet the same day it was found. I was very impressed with how they were and enjoyed living here without issue. It is centrally located off Nicholasville Road. You have a bus stop almost directly in front of the apartment complex and are walking distance to many area stores and restaraunts. There is a playground and many kids to play with if you have children. We have 2 kids and my son loved having all the children to play with. It is a very diverse population, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Some days, there were two couples that would practice ball room dancing in the parking lot and it was adorable. If we were back in the area, we would definitely contact them again for our rental needs.
OK apts. Owners fixing up the property. They are selective who they rent to.
