Property Ratings at Regency Apartments
Been here for 15 years! Love all events all new incoming stuff. Love garden that I had for 11 years they started that in 2012 getting all appeared in 2013. Old event I miss ceramic in 2009 they end from 2014. Love going to bingo when they had it. Movie night is awesome have on summer night once a month. Regency have picnic every summer and fall which is nice and fun! Paint and wine night is awesome love paint.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of living at regency, and I can't recommend it to anyone looking for a decent place to stay. The problems started from day one and only got worse. First, the management is unresponsive and unhelpful. Any maintenance requests take weeks to address, if they're addressed at all. I had a leaking ceiling for over a month before someone came to fix it, and even then, the repair was half-hearted and temporary. The apartment itself was poorly maintained. The carpets were stained and dirty when I moved in, and the walls had numerous scuff marks and holes that were poorly patched. The appliances are outdated and frequently malfunction. My stove barely worked, and the refrigerator made an incessant noise that kept me up at night. Noise is another major issue. The walls are paper-thin, and you can hear everything from your neighbors. Whether it's loud music, arguments, or just general movement, there's no peace and quiet to be found. Safety is also a concern. The locks on the doors are flimsy, and there have been multiple break-ins reported in the building. The security cameras are more for show than function, and the lighting in the parking lot is inadequate, making it feel unsafe at night. To top it all off, the rent is exorbitantly high for what you get. There are far better places in the area that offer more for less money. Save yourself the headache and avoid the regency at all costs.
I've lived here for a little under a year and its pretty great considering what you have to deal with at most places. elevators don't work sometimes which is a real inconvenience, our air conditioning broke and it took like 3 months to fix it, and I think they should update their pictures a bit bc that tennis court has been out of commission the entire time we've lived here. However, the leasing office has always been really helpful with any issues we've had, I can't hear a peep out of my neighbors other than on the rare occasion someones being loud in the hallway. Overall I would recommend living here. Not every things perfect but its definitely possible to make it feel like a home.
this is a nice place it’s around everything and the buildings are quiet and neighbors are nice
Stayed here for 3 years and I can say that I have had an amazing time. Prior to staying here had read a lot of negative reviews that there is too much noise and blah but it is minimal to non-existent. There is a place to store packages in 6100 Laurent in the basement. Since moving in 3 years back a couple of changes have been implemented. Package pick up hours have been added to 630 to 730 which is SUPER helpful for people who work 9-5. They even added a weekend pickup which is helpful. In all I even got my entire security deposit.
Property Manager at Regency Apartments, Responded To This Review
We are so glad to read that your experience with us has been resoundingly excellent. Thank you for giving us a chance and not relying on reviews that were possibly exaggerated. If there is anything you might need from us, you are always welcome to give us a call.
I moved into The Regency at the end of August, and so far my experience has been great! I've only had one maintenance issue, and it was resolved very quickly. The Leasing Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend The Regency to anyone looking for a place in Parma.
I just moved in and love this place!!I lived here previously from 1996-2007 but in another building and am so happy to be back here. The office staff is wonderful and I have had no problems at all since my move in!!
My husband and I have lived at the regency for 10 months. I DO NOT recommend anyone to live here. Management/ maintenance is absolutely terrible. If you need something done in your apartment, be prepared to do it yourself or not get it done right. Buildings C and D are disgusting and don't get taken care of like the leasing office. You can complain to the leasing office but don't expect any sort of problem to get resolved!
Newly renovated apartments. New cabinets, cut-thru kitchen, and dish washer. Fire, police, hospital, mall, high school football stadium, gas stations, library, and fast food within walking distance. Indoor Olympic pool with sauna, tennis courts, and community activities. Multiple elevators within each building. I have lived here for the past four years, thinking I would only last the first year, now my daughter doesn't want to move either. Rent might be a little more expensive but water and gas is included, and the electric bill is dirt cheap.
I live with a friend and her daughter currently, and I'm very grateful, but I want to be on my own. It's getting a little crowded and I'm constantly going back and forth from our apartment and my mother's house. I work hard, I would just like some privacy.
I have lived here for 3 years! The people who actually work here are nice and friendly. Each of the maintenance staff members do a lot for the community! Though, the people at Owner's Management Company could use a makeover. They refuse to spend money to get the parking lot shoveled before 9 am and after 5pm.
Present residents for 1 1/2 years: WE RECOMMEND THE REGENCY!!! We looked at numerous apartments in the Parma area. We came to the Regency and were impressed from the start. An Office Staff employee graciously "listened" and took the time we needed, even staying past closing. We love the location, scenery from the balcony & spending many hours watching the sunrise and sunset. The Maintenance Staff are efficient and friendly. New washers and dryers. The pool and whirlpool are also assets. Thank you...
Recently moved from Regency. Although office staff is nice and friendly and apartments are OK it really depends on what floor and building you live. Constant kids running around halls, doors slamming, car horns blowing and maintenance is poor. Sure they may fix the issue but it takes days or longer. Had several issues that took forever to get resolved. Again, I guess it depends on what building and floor you live. I even visited a friend in another building and there was dog feces on the floor for several days. They said they had the same issues. Anyway found a place cheaper and less noisy. As far as location everything is very close to the Regency and the apartments themselves are OK.
Regency Apartments in Parma, Ohio is a very nice place to live. I am a medical student who moved here from New York to attend school here. Prior to moving to Ohio, I had been searching online for an affordable apartment in a safe community. After searching online and visiting a few different apartment complexes, I decided to choose Regency Towers. I am pleased with my decision to rent an apartment here, and plan to stay here for the duration of my medical school career (or longer, if I decide to permanently stay in Ohio). I currently live in a one-bedroom apartment (one of the newly re-modeled units), and have a private balcony. The wall-to-wall carpeting is a nice, neutral beige color, and the walls are also a neutral color, so that the furniture I purchased upon moving in, matches the apartment well. In addition, the rooms are spacious, and the kitchen includes a dishwasher and new microwave/gas stove range unit, along with wooden oak cabinets. There are elevators in the building, a laundry facility with washers and dryers on each floor, an exerecise facility and swimming pool, and a parking garage. Also, the Regency offers free heat, gas, and water, which is a plus (especially during the winter months, when I like to maintain a warm environment in my apartment.) But, the best feature of Regency Towers, is that the staff are attentive to your needs. Whenever I have a request, or something requires attention (whether it be a slight draft through a window, or a lightbulb that needs changing in the hallway), the maintenance staff are very attentive. They respond quickly and in a timely manner. After placing a maintenance request call to the office, someone is sent to address the problem, within an hour of the request having been made. And, whenever I am not at home, and a package is delivered, someone in the office holds it for me until I return home. The staff are polite, and are happy to assist me in carrying my groceries to my apartment for me, whenever I go shopping, as well. Those of us who are tenants here, know that the management team appreciates its tenants, because every so often they will plan special events for us, such as tenant appreciation day, bazaars in the party room, and other seasonal events, where they provide complimentary refreshments and other goodies. In addition, the apartment complex is conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping areas, so that if I need to run out to the store or pick up dinner from a restaurant, I only have to make a brief trip out, to the stores nearby. I highly recommend Regency Towers to anyone who is searching for a nice, safe, clean, quiet, apartment building with a great, attentive staff.
