Property Ratings at Regency Place Apartments
I've lived here for 2 years in a 1 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment. I think these are fairly new, built in the mid 90s and I think you get a decent value for your money. PROS: Secure complex, need key to get passed lobby. Central air/heating. Don't pay for water, heating water or softening water. Garage building is attached to main complex, so you don't have to go out in the weather to get into your car or take out garbage. Garages are nice, and decently large singles. 2nd floor apartments have a vaulted ceiling, so they feel bigger than first floor. Decent appliances in the building. So far, decent neighbors. Decent laundry on-site. Manager is nice. Can pay bill online without a fee. CONS: Only 2 bedroom units have hookups for laundry in the apartment. Dryers in communal laundry room don't get my jeans or other heavier items very dry. Rent has increased $20/month every year, always told it's to compensate for market value. Not getting cost of living raises at work as fast as they raise rent. Won't be long before they're not as competitive as newer buildings going up all over Sioux Falls, and there are many.
