Northeast Philadelphia is a large, mostly residential section of the city positioned a few miles outside of Downtown. With its abundance of affordable apartments and rental houses, the “Great Northeast” is a popular area for budget-conscious Philadelphians. The community’s most famous attraction is the Philadelphia Mills, a large outlet shopping center that also houses a major multiplex movie theater.
Dozens of public parks of every size give the locals ample opportunities to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, particularly the huge nature preserve surrounding Pennypack Creek. Convenient access to SEPTA service, Interstate 95, and Northeast Philadelphia Airport make it easy for folks to travel across town or across the country.

Property Ratings at Regency Townhomes
I have lived here for 7 years and had minimum problems. The maintenance gets back in a timely manner and the women in the office is great!! I love Kelly:) I have read some of these reviews and was extremely shocked!! The police is DEFINITELY not here every weekend lol. Like I stated I have lived here 7 years and have seen the police in the complex maybe 4-5 times. This is a very kids friendly place and extremely quiet. The only complaint I do have is the owner don't let you upgrade your townhome while still living in the house. I DO NOT want to move to another unit I just want mines upgraded, Otherwise, it is overall a very nice place to live, especially if you have children!!!
If you like coming home to mouse poop on your stove, counter and floor this is the place for you. The owners won’t do a thing about it. They hire the same exterminator who only lays traps and doesn’t fill holes to stop the problem. I have to hire outside pest control to fix the issue. The pictures they have there are NOT what you are going to get...unless you are mouse. At that point doesn’t matter what it looks like. Doors and windows are rotted and don’t fit the frames which is how the mice get in. Best part if they are trying to entice people to pay rent a head of time with the incentive of money off their rent. I’d rather pay full rent then have broken windows, doors and mice.
They up they prices 50 $ every year didn’t tell us until the second year then pretended to fix my child’s window in her bed room but didn’t they are infested with mice I have caught 6 while living here for a year it takes them months to come solve the problems and then the same problems are never fixed
Today is 12/7/16 I reported a water leak 3 months ago, they never fix anything. I lived here for 3 yrs getting very bad. You have people walking around on the weekends doing Drugs , never parking space for car. Sometimes no hot water , take all day to get fix. My AC stop working 1.5 ago never got it fix . Still to this day not fix. Police is here every single weekend. I do know who this people are rent to. This is worse place on have live in. Not a kid friendly places
The features listed in this apartment are false. A few may have those upgrades but not all ! Anyone who says they have lived here for x amount of years and they enjoy it, they are either lying, or they are extremely low standards ! Not a place for a family. Neighbours are rude and will blast music at all hours of the night. There is no noise policy. Nothing will get taken care of by maintenance if you even trust them in your home. The sample home you are being deceived with is a great way to con people into thinking the apartments are nice and clean. When it rains the sidewalks are flooded ! Gutters have not been cleaned out in years, water falls from outside of your door like there are no gutters at all ! If you call and need anything, you won't get your phone call answered. The women in the office will not answer the phone, always has the doors locked during office hours and needs her job revoked ! Do not leave anything outside, even an ashtray because it will be taken. Install security cameras if you decide to live here.
very noise police is here everyweekend . never is a parking for your car. never fix anything 3mo get anything is not kid friendly place
I have been a resident here for over 17 years & I still love it here. Recently under new management, improvements are already underway. Even though I have a older model townhome,( w/o the current renovations) everything is still in good working order. The on site maintenance staff is made up of family members who work hard every day and seem to know all the residents personally. Definite plus is the central location where you are within minutes of 3 major highways,(Turnpike,I-95 & Roosevelt Boulevard) a bus route right outside your door & Philadelphia Mills ( formerly Franklin Mills) right up the street. If I could make 1 recommendation for improvement, it would be to have ceiling fans in the master bedrooms. So if you're looking for a nice, quiet, well maintained place to live, you will be glad to call Recency Townhomes "Home"!
I was given a tour of the " sample home" and it was great, looked clean, newer kitchen, and seemed like a great place for my child and I to live and be comfortable. However, the apartment I rented was far from that. Here are reasons why; 1. Never installed new carpets, previous owners had a male cat that sprayed and the smell became more appalling AFTER I signed the lease.... hot days with no air on smell like the Philadelphia zoo cat enclosure! 2. Kitchen floors are impossible to clean! Bleach and a mop or swifter will not pick up the dirt and grime accumulated over YEARS! I scrubbed the floors on my hands a knees with bleach and pine-sol only to wipe up the floor with a paper towel after and I found BLACK dirt. It is embedded with years of old food and feet, that even good old BLEACH can not clean. 3. The counter tops are made of PLASTIC!! Yes, I said plastic, which only leads to permanent stains that have been there for time! Our apartment 4. The bathrooms are your typical 70's yellow retro tile, that are IMPOSSIBLE to clean ( even with bleach). You will find black dirt and grim from previous renters in the tub and in all the small spots that you can not see ( but your small children are touching and being exposed to). 5. If you have a young child who naps then the squeaky floors WILL be a distraction! Not just one part of the upstairs area has squeaking and cracking , 78% of the upstairs has a loud floor that can be heard through a noise machine ( yes ). 6. The windows are large and brings in great lighting! If only they locked and fit into the structure of the building! The areas is not a place where you can leave your windows open and doors unlocked ( even with a nice fall breeze going ). This is not safe! 7. Neighbors in this apartment complex are non realistic. You will hear music BLASTING at all hours of the day and night. Parties being thrown with tents pitched up and fireworks going off. Great way to put your children to sleep on a Monday night ! Second, You will not come in contact with friendly individuals living here, they make you want pack up and leave with there cold demeanor and SKETCHY vibes. It gets better though, when they DON'T pick up the large hot steaming pile of dog feces they leave behind while walking there PIT BULLS who lack proper training ( dont let your kitties out) and make sure you look around before your children run out of the house! or they could loose a leg!
I had a mold issue and they never fixed it till i called the state. When i called the state 2 days later when I moved my stuff out to move they came and fixed the issue but ive been telling them for 4 months. SO SAD!!!
This apartment has the best to offer! Excellent customer service and the maintenance team are very helpful and they actually know their jobs! I most likely won't move!
It's very sad that a rental service that I taught was one of the best turned out to be the very worst I've ever experienced. So sad! So! So! Saaaaaaaaad! Townhomes of Regency Place..Smh....Rediculous!!!!!!
I've lived here for 4 years now and I haven't had a problem. Nice and quiet area. You won't find many townhomes for such a good price. Anything I've needed fixed was responded to in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place.
