I just toured! Virginia was absolutely the best! Very welcoming and so friendly. Going back to finish up the paperwork to move in. Absolutely shocked at how super cute the apartments were and how the grounds looked! Definitely recommend
I moved in Aug 15, 2020. I thought as a new resident and full time county inspector living in a 2 bedroom apartment that I would write a review for those thinking about coming to this complex. The apartment itself is nice, the layout is nice, the grounds are clean, good location. Its quiet around my apartment which is a plus since I have younger kids. I dont use the gym so i can't comment on that. Pool looked open at one point then it was closed most of the season. The master bathroom isn't as big as shown in the display rental so be aware of that. My dishwasher doesn't work the greatest so I've just decided to hand wash everything. Within a couple days of moving in, the master toilet leaked when it was used. Maintenance came and fixed that within 3 days. I had turned in the forms you have to fill out for a new move in for any damage u see or maintenance that needs to be done. One major thing I needed fixed was the 2nd bathroom tub that was clogging and not allowing my kids to use. I waited 2 weeks before calling to find out the status on those, they lost the papers so I had to start over with those. 2 weeks went by, I called the office, no response from voicemails so I had to go directly to the maintenance office, one of the guys said it would get done that same day, 2 days passed then had to wait over the weekend bc no one came. Called Monday, they said someone would be there after 1pm.... no one came. I ended up taking things apart and fixing it myself. I understand things get busy and maybe not enough employees but when your company gets constantly ripped for terrible service, dont apologize to all these people and still do nothing. For the amount of money ppl pay here, they might need to hire more ppl! And rent goes up EVERY year mind you. I hope the next 11 months isn't a negative experience bc now Im worried. And thats not something I pay to do on top of my rent...

The place looks nice enough from the outside but management is unresponsive, and the maintenance team is 100% reactionary. There is no preventative maintenance and when there is an issue it takes a long time to get it resolved. We are now on week two of having water come in our living room every time it rains and it has only gotten worse. The office doesn’t answer the phone until you are standing outside the door and calling (due to COVID-19, cannot currently enter the office). I would not recommend this place, as you could buy a small house for the amount of rent they charge.

When I moved into Remington 3 years ago (2017) there was a different property manager and he was amazing. He ran a tight ship and made sure to take care of anything that came up. But sometime in 2018 he left and someone else took his place and she is the absolute worst. She is a pushover, lazy, irresponsible, unreachable, and a downright horror to rent from. Herself and her office are incapable of giving straight answers, returning phone calls, scheduling is a nightmare, and are blind to alot of maintenance that needs to be done ti the buildings. They will tow your car up to 1 month before your tags expire and ehen you try to get in contact with them, they never return your calls and play dumb when you speak to them in person. My first year here was great but ever since the new manager took over it has been hell and you should never have to deal with this kind of despicable service and it is truly a disappointment. Please consider looking elsewhere to live, this is not a good place to make a life. There are so many other better places.

Say stainless steel appliances will be update but still have old appliances. Also air conditioning unit went out June 30, 2020 and they still have not yet to fix the problem. Temperature in the house over 90 degrees. Maintenance come work on unit say it’s fix but it’s not. You have to put a maintenance request in every other day but they still have not fix the problem. I have never experienced anything like this and with an asthmatic child . Moving as soon as my lease up unless I can break it

The property itself is decent. The customer service given by leasing office is spectacular prior to lease signing. Lease signing is rushed and not everything is pointed out in the process. Once you do sign the lease don't bother to call and ask them anything because they will either lie to you about when they plan on fixing the problem presented, or the manager may laugh awkwardly at the situation which you the tenant will more than likely find to be no laughing matter. And if you are really lucky and you call to ask a yes or no question about their propety you may get questioned as to why you need to know that in the first place and then scolded like a child about what they feel you need to do even though you only ever asked for a simple yes or no. And then there is maitenance they say they will do something and apparently either half way do it or they just don't do it. If you want a decent somewhat moderate place to live, like being talked to any kind of way, and can perhaps deal with issues being addressed half heartedly then certainly move here.
I recently relocated to the St. Louis area and checked out numerous apartments. Remington Apartments were referred by a friend who suggested I visit the property. Jarrel in the leasing office returned my phone and promptly scheduled an appointment during my brief trip over the weekend. He was professional, informative, and very understanding in regards to my relocation situation. Jarrel went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. I am in the process of moving in and have a positive outlook regarding living at Remington Apartments. I've read positive and negative reviews but firmly believe people will treat you the way you treat them. The office staff has been excellent so far and I look forward to being a good neighbor and enjoying my stay in this community.
In my opinion you're paying mostly for the area. It's a nice location since it central to everything from malls to grocery stores to gas stations pretty much anything you'll need. The complex itself is okay it's not the best place as a whole in my opinion. I've been here a little over a year now and there's always something going on whether construction or people redoing apartments next to you and you can smell a lot of chemicals leaching into your unit. The people themselves that work here in the office are somewhat helpful but not the best as far as customer service experience goes in my opinion. Also as far as consideration goes when it comes to maintenance coming in to your place and giving you notice that doesn't exist. It has a pool and a mini fitness room to workout out, it's not 24hrs though. One thing I do like is that most units come with a washer and dryer already hooked up and the layouts are decent of the units. I'm not a fan of carpet, but that's all they have. The complex itself is diverse as far as residency goes, you get 5 days to pay your rent after the due date and a way to pay online. All in all, it's decent but too expensive.
I am an out of town person and I only needed a place for about a year while I trained in St. Louis. I looked at a lot of places in Northern St. Louis but this one so ops out from the rest. The grounds are clean and maintained, the prices are comparable/reasonable, and the staff went above and beyond to make it happen for me. I have to admit there aren't tons of frills but the units do come with a washer/dryer combo and the pool is a great place to hang out. The complex is updating the outdoor stairwells and balconies so there is some construction happening but there are no interferences. They don't have a jacuzzi but there is a gym for extra each month. I am happy to report that anyone looking for either a short or long term stay should be very pleased. Sad to leave in three weeks!!!
