The modern conveniences of fast-growing Clarksville are thoroughly complemented by its small-town vibe. Historical establishments nestle beside modern stores, blending the old with the new. A diverse population appreciates the ability to move away from the stress of big-city life while staying in tune with the modern world.
A strong connection to the outdoors makes Clarksville the perfect place to unwind after a long day at work, or after a full day of shopping at Governor’s Square Mall. Several state parks and the rolling waters of the Cumberland and Red Rivers afford residents and visitors the opportunity to experience nature’s calming effects. Stroll along the river banks or walk in the local parks and relax to the soothing sounds of nature’s bounty.
One hour north of Nashville, Clarksville provides its residents with convenient access to the metro’s city life and country music attractions.

This place is the WORST!!! I absolutely abhore living here and am paying an outrageous rent just to stay on month to month until I can leave. The parking is beyond ridiculous! I often have to walk past one or two buildings to reach the one where I live. These apartments were built in 2011 which is how old the appliances are. They have made some improvements recently, but the changes have all been cosmetic. It looks like a nice place to live, but don't be fooled. Don't be distracted by the high ceilings or freshly painted exteriors. Each building holds up to 12 families. There is not enough parking to support the number of residents. I can't remember how many times birds have nested in my dryer vent. And if I don't hear them before using the dryer, they die leaving a rancid stench for months. The walls are so thin you can hear conversations and other things. The pool was closed nearly 2 years. When it finally opened, the hours were ridiculously limiting. Why have pool lights if the pool is always closed in the evening? I was shocked to see such a high review rating, less surprised when I saw that all but one of the reviews are 4+ years old. Management has changed since the last review. Since then this place has only gotten worse.
Property Manager at Renaissance at Peacher's Mill, Responded To This Review
While we're sorry that your experience hasn't lived up to expectations, we would like to clarify a few points. Our community has ample parking; however, we cannot guarantee a spot right at the entrance of your apartment. We would be happy to further discuss the potential for purchasing detached garages and carports. Our property was built in 2011, and we assure you that appliances are replaced as needed. If you have a work order, please contact the office. Birds occasionally nest in undesirable areas, but we remove them as soon as we are notified. They are not left for months. Additionally, our dryer vents are cleaned as part of our preventative maintenance program. Should you need some attention outside of that service you only need to notify the office and we will take the appropriate action. The pool was closed in 2020 due to Covid-19 protocol. In 2021, the pool was opened eleven days later than the scheduled opening date due to maintenance. In 2022, the pool was open at normal hours with no restrictions and closed nightly at 8 pm. The current management purchased the property in 2019 with minimal turnover in personnel. Due to the nature of your concerns, we believe this is a conversation best had offline and encourage you to call or email the office.
I moved in May 2020. Every sign promotes amenities, which are not open "until further notice" -leasing office. Unit was not move in ready (bedroom door hanging off hinges, bathroom door won't properly shut), there is a $400 admin fee that is not listed for any particularly reason on apartments.com and not-refundable. Unit had urine stains on the toilet, residue in the bathtub, and signs that the apartment was empty for awhile since last tenant. This was supposed to be the nicest community in clarksville, but the actual apartment does not match the website and reputation. However, every neighbor I have met so far is lovely and community is quiet and very friendly. It includes great dog areas outside of apartments, and the community is in an excellent location in clarksville.
The walls are so thin I can hear everything that goes on in my neighbors home. I can hear conversations, laundry machines, and of course adult activities. The management is terrible! They will send you an email telling you, you’ll be charged a fee. Like not picking up pet waste. When you tell them you always pick up after your animal they’ll reply saying they have proof. They’ll lie and say they have pictures and say numerous people have seen you not picking up after your pet. Not true and I don’t know why they choose to come after me. I have had police sent to my house from neighbors thinking a vehicle that wasn’t in a parking spot was mine. I am looking forward to my lease being up. I will be happy when I never have to deal with Tamara or her boss that loves to send harassing emails. If you want to use the movie theater, club house, or office it has to be done during their hours and approved. Overall the apartments are beautiful. The walls are painted with cheap mart pain and will stain from water. Maintenance comes when called which is nice and they’ll clean up after the dog owners who cannot clean up after their pet. Which is usually the big dogs. Parking can be hard to find if you don’t pay for a carport or garage. Walls are too thin and neighbors are different. It’s a pretty safe place to live just problems with lying managers and neighbors and the cheap pain . I would never recommend or resign our lease.
This is my first apartment on my own and so far it's been amazing! The apartments are nice, and the grounds are well maintained. The office is extremely nice and very understanding of life events or pay issues like if your pay is somehow delayed or you don't get paid till after rent is due. They are more than willing to work with you as long as you keep them in the loop. So far they have exceeded my expectations.
Its a great place to live. Its safe and quiet Ive been here for almost a year and never had any problems with neighbors. Parking is limited they need assigned parking but there's not enough room. Staff is friendly however the maintenance guys are lucky its a new place because they are incompetent. electricity will run you 80 to 150 water and utilities usually 40. amenities are nice they gym is more for women the office needs a more computers and a more updated one. the place is expensive and towards the end of my lease i wish i would have been buying a house then throwing my money away but in return i did get a nice and luxury apartment with no issues.
