I have recently moved into Renaissance and am very happy with my unit and the friendliness of the residents. The common areas are going to be a great asset to the living dynamics here in this very nice community. They are working on the exterior of the buildings so there is a lot of maintenance workers but once that is completed it seems to be quiet place.
The Renaissance at Preston Hollow used to be a luxury property. Until the ongoing construction is completed, I would not recommend this property to anyone. There is no onsite management and maintenance issues are taking up to 3 weeks or more to be addressed
I would not recommend living at the Renaissance at Preston Hollow. Management does not seem to take their jobs seriously and provide empty promises all the time.
I have loved this place so far. The residents are so welcoming to me. There are so many great amenities, and nice green spaces around the facility. The location for this area is so nice. I am in the center of the facility and it is so calm and quiet! It is in the middle of a huge refresh and hopefully will be completed soon.

Besides these past 2 years with the on going construction and problems, Preston Hollow had been great. They were very responsive when we had a problem and very transparent when necessary providing safety tips and community gatherings that were convenient to all. I'm hoping that construction will be done soon and Preston Hollow will go back to how they used to be.

Renaissance at Preston Hollow Apartments falls significantly short of expectations. While the complex may initially impress with its attractive exterior and convenient location, these superficial attributes quickly fade upon closer inspection, revealing a troubling reality marred by poor maintenance and unsatisfactory living conditions. Residents cannot view their actual unit until after they have signed the lease and received keys to the apartment, with a commitment that repairs will be completed promptly following the move-in inspection. I have been residing in my apartment for six weeks. Upon moving in, several issues were immediately apparent. Within days, maintenance tickets were submitted for problems such as a shower head and tub drain are corroded, ceiling above the bathtub shows worsening water damage, and the repairs made were substandard, plumbing issues in the bathroom, and cracked windows resulted from exterior repairs to the complex. The response from the maintenance team has been slow and inadequate. Despite repeated requests, the ceiling above the bathtub shows worsening water damage, and the repairs have gone unanswered. Security concerns: The gate fails to shut properly when employees depart in the evenings. Management Staffing concerns: Interacting with the management team proved to be just as disappointing. Emails and phone calls were frequently ignored, with no responses following feedback reviews or surveys. On-site staff were often preoccupied on the phone when attempting to address complaints in person. This absence of accountability and professional conduct from the management team further intensified an already aggravating scenario. Apart from the maintenance issues inside the apartment, the general state of the complex is troubling. Common areas like hallways and stairwells are frequently unclean and muddy, while exposed rebar metal during construction creates hazardous conditions, further complicating daily life. Prospective residents should be thoroughly aware of these significant drawbacks before making the decision to move in. The combination of neglected repairs, poor communication, and inadequate facilities makes this complex a regrettable choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and well-maintained home.

This is a wonderful location for shopping and access to major highways, please be aware this place is under construction. The people at the front desk are not very helpful and will continue to ignore your request for help.

There is a disconnect between Greystar and the onsite management and staff at this property. They are not communicating vital information regarding repairs to the apartments or amenities. It took 3 weeks to get a dishwasher and kitchen sink fixed. There is a huge construction mess that remains to be cleaned up and this effects every aspect of life on the property. We are now being told that this is an ever changing excuse that has been going on for 3 years from the other residents. I an unsure why a huge company, like Greystar can't get a repair project done in 3 years and why I was lied to about it when I moved in earlier this month.

Gates are always propped open over night. Never a security guard on premises. Thefts and homeless people. Not only does it not feel safe you can't get hold of anyone in the office unless you go in person. They said construction would be finished when I resigned my lease in March. It is now June and it clearly will not be fixed anytime soon.

You don't want me to share my experiences about Renaissance at Preston Hollow. It has gotten worse over the last year and whenever a resident or prospective resident tries to contact the office they either do not answer the phone or do not respond back to emails. There are homeless people, thefts and the office does not care. - if they did they would close the gates rather than leaving them open most nights.

The environment inside and outside the community is beautiful, the buildings are nice, and the front desk staff are helpful, but they hardly respond to calls and emails. I also like my floor plan. The community is still under construction and it is noisy during the day.

This community is a great place to live, the resident events are so much fun, it’s close to everything anyone could possibly need, it’s going through growing pains which to me is a a positive thing!!

What used to be an amazing community, has turned in to a sub-par "luxury" place to rent. Maybe that's why Greystar actually removed the "luxury" wording. The construction company they hired is terrible, and they start at 7 AM. They leave their trash around, and hardly pick up any nails or screws. Maintenance takes forever to actually respond now. Brand new staff as well. They are all clueless and have no sense of service. The only person that actually seems to put in any effort is Sid. Oh yeah, the gates are almost always open now.

My parents live here and I am so disappointed with this property - at one time it was great and well maintained but now it’s a disgrace. For starters no one in management is helpful. When you can actually get someone to answer a phone they are rude quick to anger and never have a solution. There have been many issues outside of the atrocious construction that seems to be never ending and honestly doesn’t look any better than before. Air conditioning in multiple units going out often and NOT getting fixed. You can NEVER get ahold of management trash is everywhere from the construction. If I could give 0 stars I would. Save yourself the headache and don’t move here.

My mother and father haves lived here for ten years and I am beyond disappointed in the current living conditions they are in. The community manger, Christine never returns any of my calls or emails upon request. Sidd can be helpful but is very easily angry when voicing my concerns and shows no customer service or understanding to paying tenants. Myself and my parents had a close relationship with Taylor, who always went above and beyond, who has also left as of recent, and this establishment just lakes care and accountability. I have asked multiple times for follow ups and I get zero responses. This is totally unacceptable. No one ever answers the phone and I always seem to get a call center. I have reached out corporate and there is also no response. The office closes between 3pm-4pm on Mondays with no communication to the residents of doing so. Office hours on the door state they are open until 6pm M-F. The grounds lack sense of appeal and there is trash and debris everywhere. Trash left from residents are everywhere and we have seen rats and possums in the trash rooms. Gates are never working and when they are, they are halfway open or halfway closed causing homeless people from the nearby bus stop station have access to enter. Car theft and busted windows seem to be the new normal. I have spoken personally to other tenants neighboring my parents, that are moving for this very specific reason. The construction they are performing is a joke and a while other review. Needless to say, spend your money elsewhere on true Preston Hollow quality apartment living community. This place is going downhill at a fast slope.

Elevator does not work. The construction is a mess. Buildings are not identified as they should be. I have to drive down to the office to guide my guests back to the parking garage. I would never have signed a lease here had I known then what I know now. lots of tenants

The location is excellent and we have felt very secure here. This is a transition for us, from a home of many years, and has proven quite an easy one. We have been happy with the very quiet atmosphere, and staff and maintenance have been responsive, cheerful, and courteous.

Moved here with high expectations. Staff misled prior to the lease signing saying there was going to be some painting. Turns out the painting is full blown construction covering up the windows with plastic for weeks. There was no offering of lowering rent at all.

Water leaks, black mold in air vents and under cabinets. HVAC system has an odor and is leaking. Indoor sprinklers on ceiling have paint and dust on them. Critical damage and repair needed. I moved in 17 days ago. The property needs more staff. There is much that needs help with repair and replacing.

Too many questionable changes....ie.parking spaces, charges....additional trash pickup cantainers at front door charged for but unneeded ( many residents feel same). Security issues....continuous open gates at front.

We are very pleased to be living at the Renaissance at Preston hollow. The apartment is very comfortable and feels like home. The staff is great and, in spite of ongoing Construction issues, we are very we made it back happy here.

After owning homes my entire adult life, it’s so nice to be able to call and have someone take care of maintenance issues, instead of it being me. I can’t tell you how much I love not having to deal with cleaning my pool and yet I still have a beautiful one to enjoy here at the Renaissance. It has great walkable amenities including dry cleaners, post office, drug store, nail place, a few restaurants, etc. I definitely take advantage of walking. On days when I’m working from home, my car rarely moves because I can walk to those things and for emergencies I can walk to 7-11 or Walgreens. I also love walking so it’s nice to walk out the gate and do a five mile loop.

The ladies are so friendly and helpful, but they are not able to execute on the maintenance issues, like a manager or owner could. I am very concerned about the complex deteriorating significantly if repairs are not addressed immediately.

I have only lived a Renaissance for 2 months. In that time, the staff has responded promptly to any questions and all my needs. My maintenance requests have been completed in the same day. The property is beautiful and well maintained. It is quiet here and the location is close to everything in Dallas. So far, I love living here.

It's a fantastic location and the management staff have been very kind, considerate and communicative. I realize the maintenance issues have to do with budgeting. My front door looks terrible. They use a paint that does not stick because they are using water based paint over dirt and oil base paint.
