My apartment is comfortable and centrally located. I am close to the Orleans Casino.

We strive to provide comfort and convenience for all our residents, so your positive feedback is greatly appreciated. Our team extends their gratitude for taking the time to share your 5-star experience.
Property staff is only pleasant and helpful until you sign a lease. From there, all communication ceases. High turnover among staff so no one has a clue. Front of office staff serves only to run interference between residents and negligent management. Burst pipes, flooding, leaks, broken water heaters, broken appliances will all be ignored by staff and take weeks or months to fix. Upon move-in my apartment was FILTHY, doors were off hinges and locks were busted through. Pools closed due to healthcode violations. Water being shut off complex-wide without warning for hours/days at a time. Security gates never work. Property took my entire security deposit and claimed I owed them more money for "damages" they were unable to provide any proof for. DO NOT MOVE HERE

Have had a leak in my bathroom for over a year since moving in. Management seems to not care, place several work orders and maintence just tells me everybody’s apartment has a leak due to A/C. Looks completely disgusting and mold is likely growing in my ceiling. Maybe if somebody gets sick due to mold and sues them, is the only way they would care and fix a leak.
Property Manager at Renaissance Villas Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review

While there are many many reasons for this place being awful it comes down to the heads. The office manager is never there and the maintenance manager literally doesn't look at their work orders. I've spent a combined of 1 week with no ac in 2 months in Las Vegas summer weather. I'm currently on day 3 of my current breakdown.

If you enjoy not having water without notice then, the complex is for you! I've lived at the complex for a couple years and since then the water has been shut off at least once every couple months. The amenities are a joke. They're always needing to be fixed or replaced. The front desk is rude unless you're looking into moving in. Maintenance is nice which is the only nice thing to say about the complex. Just save your money and find a better place.
Let me start of by saying the apartment itself is pretty nice and in a convenient location. That being said though, I would stay far away from these apartments, the Property Management Team is the worse I've ever encountered... I have lived here for almost 2 years now, during which I've visited the office many times, and not once has the property manager been in the office. Every time I have an emergency that needs fixing, its a new office staff and they have no idea what to do, and the Property Manager only takes meetings by appointment. Good luck scheduling an appointment though, every time I schedule a meeting with the property manager she cancels the meeting day off and wastes your time. Very Unprofessional. Here's a couple examples of what I've had to deal with over the last 2 years... 1) Our dryer broke back in September, we placed a maintenance request to get it fixed the same day. The maintenance team visited our house around 5 times, a new person each visit, and they all said a different thing was wrong with the machine each time. It took them 4 months to figure out that they couldn't fix the machine and come to the conclusion to just give us a machine from another empty apartment. Meanwhile we had to do laundry at the laundry mat down the street and pay for it out of our own pocket. During this time I made several appointments with the property manager, all of which she canceled on day off, never got even as much as a sorry. 2) A few months after we got our new dryer, the washer machine dies. I'm thinking for sure they would of learned their lesson and just replace the thing. Nope, again it took them 2 months to fix the washing machine and we were back doing laundry down the street and paying out of pocket for it. Again, property manager canceled all of our meetings, and blew us off. 3) There seems to be a water leak in the complex every other month, which means they have to shut off the water in the whole complex for 8 hours at a time to fix the problem. Usually they give you a couple days notice so that you can plan around it, it sucks but at least you can plan ahead. This week though they decided to send the notice the same day... I woke up to get ready for work with no running water. Called the office to see what was going on, they said oh we sent an email out this morning at 8am, that's the best we could do. I literally had to shower using a jug of water so I could go to work. We are so over this place, definitely moving out asap.
I lived here for 3 years, it is dangerous, I had situations at night, office and staff is very rude and unhelpful, we didn’t have hot water for too many days, maintenance take forever to go, they raise like $200 a year, and a lot more staff. the model is beautiful, but is not the one that they give you, is up to you, now you know the truth
This is the worst place to rent in Vegas. They have the worst management and worst customer service and the worst people who have no clue what they are doing who work there. The staff is extremely rude and the place is becoming a security nightmare and the appliances do not work plus the staff working in the office are extremely rude and no clue what they are doing
This apartment community is one of the best that I’ve lived at. It’s quiet and very peaceful. The amenities are great, there’s a tennis court, a pool and more. The customer service from Argelia was exceptional. She was very friendly and understanding of my needs, as well as all the office staff. I highly recommend this community to all, it’s an amazing apartment complex to live in.
The office management is awful and are never available to resolve any issues. The staff continue to lose personal documents and requests documents be sent to personal email accounts because their business account never works. The area is nice and the prices are a bit overpriced. The place isn't worth staying because of the complications of dealing with office management.
This is a beautiful property located in a PRIME location. Rents are very accessible and my leasing agent Melanie made my move in process smooth.
This place is disgusting! It is infested with roaches and ants. There is mold growing everywhere. Looks nothing like the photos. The appliances are old and when something breaks the maintenance refuses to fix it. I had to withhold rent and take them to court to get them to fix my refrigerator. I was eating boxed food since I couldn’t store food in a fridge that was not working properly. DO NOT RENT HERE. The apartment become uninhabitable in a short period of time because they never fix or remodel they just pain over mold and hold off on repairs until legal action is taken.
Pinnacle mgmt, never again!!! This place isn’t an upgrade. It’s a downgrade. Mail boxes get vandalized all the time, pointless to try and get accurate information from mgmt. office: they’ll give you 3 different answers, each time I went. Pinnacle underpays and overloads their staff so they’re not paid to care. Walls and floors are paper thin so you hear every noise your neighbors make. I had 7 people living above me and it was a nightmare!! Caught one neighbor sniffing drugs in the hallway leading to my apartment. Thank God I was able to move out, take my good credit and money elsewhere!!
I was assaulted at the front gate to this apartment complex (the Reno side) on December 9th 2018. During the assault I dropped my keys right by my car, which led to me coming back from the hospital stitched up only to discover my apartment had been broken into and my 2 laptops, cellphones, watch and bluetooth speaker were gone. The incident was at the FRONT GATE and it was at least 15 minutes until the cops arrived and the ambulance came to take me to the ER. It was at least another hour with the cops on the scene. I have police reports and photos. The following morning I walked into the main management office with a black eye. They had no idea that an incident involving LVMPD and an ambulance had occurred on the premises the night before. Unbelievable. Since then I have been trying to get management to improve the security here, which is a complete joke, to no avail. Any resident who has lived here for a while will tell you that the first impression this place gives is wildly deceiving. Security patrol is only from 6pm to 2am. Trust me, all the criminals who apparently walk around here freely know this well. There are no security cameras anywhere, and although they do perform background checks for the people who sign leases, the person who assaulted me is a resident who is subleasing a room. I requested to meet with management and at first was completely ignored until I found the email for Pinnacle's CEO and told him my story. As you can tell by some of the other reviews, management here is terribly understaffed and maintenance requests can go unanswered for months. When I finally did get a meeting with the regional manager and courtesy patrol supervisor, I pleaded with them to at least put up cameras - it's been almost a month and I am still waiting for an answer. This place was bought by some California-based tech execs in 2012. This 840 unit complex is surely large enough and must bring in enough rent to warrant better security? Management claims they are still waiting for approval from the owner for some measly cameras. Why don't I simply move out ? Well, I've seen this all over town - since the recession, so many properties have been bought up by rich out-of-towners, some of which are decent landlords, but many who are so completely disconnected from our communities that they would just allow things to deteriorate so badly to a point where residents like me feel like there is no choice but to go all out and use any legal means to wake them up.
Small old apartments. Terrible leasing agents and maintenance staff. Dangerous neighborhood.
If I can give a zero star I will!!! If you’re planning to inquire here DON’T!!! This is the worse apartment!!! So my leased ended end of may. And I went to the office first week of April to renew my lease they said they need to inspect the unit first!!! So 1 week pass by I called again for the inspection they said it’s the maintenance job!! So I asked them when is the inspection they said they don’t know so 1 month passed by I went to the office again for the inpection I told them because my lease is ending at the end of may!! They told me they changed the system they put a paper on your door to tell you that your apartment is getting inspection in 24hours!!! They didn’t do it until 2nd week of June!! So after that my dad went to the office to gave the renters insurance they just took a paper made a copy of it to gave it to us!! And didn’t even ask my dad to sign anything now they’re charging us additional $450 for a month to month so I went to the office and they said just pay 250 so you can sign the lease I told them I’m not payong anything because it’s their fault and they said we supposed to tell them that our leased ended on the of may because not everyone knows that!! They put the blamed on me while I did my job I reminded them 3 times that my lease was ending!!! They are rude!! Inconsiderate!!
Apts too pricey, too small, lack of maintance, lack of office management...NOT WORTH IT!
Initially, for the neutral or negative online reviews, I was skeptical about renting here. Still, the layout and size of the apartment was appealing, and convenient in a central, quiet neighborhood location. In my building, most of the neighbors know each other at least by name. I've noticed, too, that the staff always smiles and waves when you pass them in the parking lots. Personally, I find value in a friendly atmosphere. Security is present and visible after hours. Also, the security gates on all property sides mostly always work, with only a few, short-term maintenance exceptions. Property upkeep and cleanliness is well-managed. Rarely do I find garbage or clutter lying around. There was a brief problem in my area with some newer neighbors not cleaning up after their pets. Once reported, the front office handled it quickly. Maintenance is top-notch. I've only had minor issues, but in every maintenance request, it was handled and resolved either same day or within twenty -four hours. Seriously, A on the maintenance. Same with the office staff, A . Every time I've spoken with them, they are friendly, and even better, helpful. Never once have I been met with a condescending tone, impatience, a brush off...nothing. Okay, last couple of things. Amenities: four stars only because they lack some of the newer-complex amenities (movie theater) and the gym is small. Parking: four stars as it's a little narrow, not much guest parking, and on one occasion a car was in my spot and due to policy front office couldn't do anything about it. Value: three stars because my renewal rate increase was a little high in my opinion (up $60 per month). Updated appliances, or perhaps newer Venetian blinds for that much increase? Yeah, that would've changed my 'value' rating. But, hey, I got a free carpet cleaning at least. Overall, for me at least, a positive and enjoyable living experience with very little to gripe about. :-)
If you are looking for an apartment home in Las Vegas, Renaissance Village apartments should be your first stop. From a first contact phone call to the meet and great at the office door, the staff are friendly polite and professional. The units are clean and well taken care of which is reflected in the grounds and common areas. I did not meet all the staff, the broker, Toni, who assisted me was fantastic. She puts you at ease right from the start and was there to walk me through each step. No questions went unanswered and often answered before you asked. Make this your first stop.
Just moved in from Denver, CO. Apartment is just as described online. Rental was a nightmare, paperwork wasn't finished nor any communication from our leasing agent from Las Vegas to us in Denver, CO. She resigned and my file was put aside. Asst. Mgr of complex is the rudest, CS person I ever met. Others in the office, April are awesome. Complex/is huge 850 units, so building maintenance is busy, need a issue taken care of go to the office and talk to a friendly person.
My roomate and I selected Renaissance Villas because of their open roomate style floor plans with upgraded kitchens and a surplus of windows. So much natural light! Usually apartments only have 1 window per room, Renaissance has like 3. However it hasn't been the most fun experience from filling out applications to move in to repairs etc etc. The office is absolutely impossible to get a hold of. I'm not talking about not calling you back for a couple of days. I'm talking about office staff telling you they or their manager will call you back that day before closing; they'll tell you that everyday that you call until you finally get sick of it and show up at the office a month later. Seeing as how it was the beginning of summer(busy season) I let that slide, plus the manager insured we would get the vinyl hardwood and built in shelves to make up for it. Vinyl hardwood is cool but they neglected to fix anything else prior to move in. The previous tenant left a broken fridge, oven, broken closet rods, broken shower rods, and gum-yes, gum- all over the patio walls. None of this was fixed and we promptly put in work orders for all of these things the day after we moved in back in May. The only thing that's been fixed is the oven. Oh and we still haven't gotten our built ins as promised. Every time my roommate and I go to the office or call the hot line we get told someone will come soon. We even get a cute little email saying they will be at the apartment at x time on x day. We wait around all day and plot twist, no one comes. Overall this is a gorgeous apartment that is ridiculously close to my work which is awesome. The problems come down solely to the management team. I should've predicted that living in an apartment managed by Picerne would end up this way but hindsight is 20/20.
My 1x1 is 800sq ft and under $720 a month. I have searched all over Vegas and can't find a deal like that. The layout is amazing and the built-in bookshelf sold me. The community has 4 pools (1 is 24hrs) and 4 parks. It's close enough to the strip & Town Square that it doesn't take long to get to them but you're not so close that you feel like you're "in" Las Vegas. The apartments are older but fully renovated so they look modern. I've been here 4 years and love it.
My apartment complex is a nice community since I have been living here for 3 yrs. Every place has it's good & bad,but overall, it's a great place to live.
I live in the Renaissance Villas Apartments. I'm coming to the end of my lease and move out in the week. If you know anything about the Orleans area then you know that it's not the best area but also not the worst. For the area that the apartments are located in, this was a pretty nice place to live. For the most part, the complex is really quiet. The staff was very attentive and kept the grounds clean. The only thing I don't like is that the ventilation ducts are connected; so whenever my downstairs neighbor cooked her Spanish food, my house smelt like Goya products. Also, because of the vents, my electricity bill was never less than $100 a month even in the winter.
My partner and I moved in on March and we both, till this day, are very content with this apartment complex. We live on the Reno side of the phase, it's really nice and quiet; everyone minds their business. The staff, management and maintenance are really nice and helpful. We are planning on renewing our lease for another year, we don't want to leave this apartment complex just yet!!
I've lived in Renaissance Villas for three years and I've had ups and downs throughout that time. The complex is split in two by Reno Ave, and the first two years I lived in a one-bedroom on the Tropicana side. I NEVER had any issues and the location was great. I worked on the strip and so it was 15 minutes to work on a bad day and my neighbors were quite and nice. I got to live right next to a small trail that circled a pool and tennis court. I think the loop was 1/4 mile? The upstairs units include a fireplace, which was wonderful, and maintenance responded quickly to any issues I had. I always felt safe there and never had any issues. For the last year, I've lived on the Reno side in a two-story two-bedroom unit and I don't know what happened, but I didn't have quite as good of an experience. While I enjoy the layout of the two-story unit (it's perfect for roommates), the kitchen is wayyy to small. Moving to the Reno side also meant suddenly all of my service requests went ignored, which is weird given that the staff is exactly the same. We eventually got everything taken care of, but not before I had to have some stern words with a couple members of the staff, some of whom are great, some have their hands tied, and some are downright horrible. Overall, the location and price of Renaissance Villas is pretty great. It's excellent if you want to live close to the strip, but in a nice complex, which can be a tricky request. It's got 5 pools, which are for the most part well maintained, and they try to make the community fun with events and monthly drawings for discounts on rent.
