I think the staff are amazing and truly appreciate their willingness to work with residents, especially during challenging times like falling behind on rent. They’ve shown flexibility and understanding, and most maintenance issues are handled within 24–48 hours, which I value. However, there’s a disconnect in communication. Important updates aren’t always shared clearly or promptly, which can be frustrating—especially with recurring issues like lock and heating problems. I was once locked out due to a faulty lock and told to contact a locksmith, even though I had my key and hadn’t damaged the door. That situation wasn’t a true lockout and created a major inconvenience and safety concern, especially as a single mother with a toddler. It was resolved the next day after I emailed management. Despite this, I love the location—it’s peaceful, quiet, and feels safe for me and my daughter. With better communication and consistency, this would be an ideal place to live.
I really enjoy the area I live in, I haven’t had any issues thus far with residents . I keep too myself. One thing I don’t like is that my apt hvac unit get under under it every time it rains and has to be extracted.

Friendly staff, quiet community and quick response to maintenance concerns. My experience living here has been very pleasant. Close to shopping and on the bus line. Pet friendly too. Dog park for your pets to play and make friends.

It’s peaceful here , maintenance is on point , office staff is amazing. I been residing here since August 2024 and so far no complaints nor regrets ( but the parking could be better) but that’s a different story but it doesn’t take away from the experience

So far it has been ok just a few minor issues . The move in experience was great . But some things in my unit were not completely inspected. But I will say I love that maintenance comes pretty fast .

My experience living here is terrible. The staff at the leasing office make it that much harder and have no respect for the residents. Appliances break all the time and there are moisture and mold growing in my apartment unit and that has yet to be resolved as of today. The maintenance team are the only ones who care and do their best to make the units livable but it's clear that the lack of consideration for the residents come from far up there in the leadership of the management company at the corporate level.

Now having been here almost a year I do enjoy my apartment my only thing is my downstairs have no common courtesy of others people in the building . I have reached out to the front office but I have yet to see a change in that.
My husband and I have enjoyed living in ReNew Centennial since it was Canterbury Gardens in 1983. It's in a quiet neighborhood in University City. We love apartment living. There is a fitness center, dog park, and swimming pool. The staff offers activities like Bingo and Trivia nights so that the residents can come together and enjoy each other's company. The office staff and maintenance crew are great.

I have lived in this community for over 40 years. I love it. The area is close to every place I go. I'm right at I-170 which can take me north to I-70 or I-270. It can take me south to I-64. The neighborhood is quiet, and I love my neighbors. The apartment is nice. I can get maintenance in a timely manner, and the office staff is friendly.

Everything has still been amazing!! I love my unit and have had very minimal problems, that I could fix myself, since I moved back in November. One thing to work on, street cleaning when the snow comes. We understand you can only do as much as you can with our street parking.

The community has good amenities but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for a place long term. Maintenance requests appear to be resolved but really bandaids are put on things. Concerns about things being stolen were completely ignored. The trash areas are completely neglected and sometimes all over the place. I honestly would’ve moved and terminated my lease early if I hadn’t already been completely exhausted with moving.

Good move in, unfortunately had no water pressure for a hot shower night one. Other than that I’m have with the move in and ready to be part of the community

Maintenance issues are addressed promptly (except for the dishwasher, still don’t have that) and the community feels safe, well-lit and well staffed. All utilities work well.
My experience at the renew apartments is great there are friendly people the staff is always on time when you need them like maintenance they are very friendly people and it's a clean environment the pets are family my son really enjoyed looking at the dogs whenever we come outside so I recommend renewed to people

Things are never fixed. My dish washer has been broken for over a year. Told every few months they will fix it. My sink backs up constantly. Light fixtures don’t work. We had snow and not a single side walk or walk way was shoveled front or back. If you call the office they’ll act like you’re bothering them. IF they answer which hardly happens. If you go in same thing. If you move here expect things to be in terrible shape.

Great job to pest control they immediately came to solve the pest problem for me although they did have to come 2 3 times it got the job done and now I haven't seen anything over a month will still give it time though

It's a struggle to get help from the staff at the leasing office. The verbiage about the utilities was misleading and now I'm paying a lot more each month than I was expected based on their sales pitch.

Sinks are always backed up which leaves your home smelling like 10 dead bodies very quiet community but appliances inside the units could be better.

Not the best place to live. When moving in, it looked like our unit was not even looked at or fixed. One of the maintenance men urinated on our toilet seat and left it like that. There was black mold underneath the bathroom sink and kitchen sink and on the wall in the living room. The kitchen sink pipes were leaking. The bathroom sink detached from the wall and was being held together by paint. We were just constantly having problems after problems.

I have lived in ReNew Centennial Apartments for many years. It is conveniently located near the Delmar Loop and all it has to offer. I am 30 seconds from I-170, which gives me access to I-64 if I go south and I-70 if I go north. The grounds are kept nice. I love my neighborhood. It is quiet. If there are any issues with the apartment, maintenance will come a fix the problem in a timely manner. The office staff is always nice and professional. The management plans activities to unite the community, like a Halloween Party or a Wine Down at the management office. ReNew Centennial Apartments is a great place to live.

Friendly and respectful community. I like how some of the staff knows you by name and are quick to solving any type of issue you may have. Only thing that I don't care for is that the rent is not a set price, but has a base price and all other incidentals are added on.

I really am pleased with the way the management and office staff handled their residents. They are very friendly, supportive and understanding in every situation. I love the fact that it is quite in the apartment complex, other than sirens on the highway, but I wouldn’t trade where I live for anything.

Everything has been Great, I Love this Community. Its quiet, I always fine a parking spot. I would recommend this is area to live, even if you have children and pets.

It’s great so far!! I’ve been here since the 2nd of November and it’s the 7th. Everyone is so friendly and it’s a very quiet neighborhood. Neighbors are quiet as well

Has been great and very nice and quiet so far. Very easy to deal with. Residents around are nice and quiet at respectful hours, be around of your surroundings as anywhere, but it seems like everyone is aware and watches out for each other. The apartment itself, is nice but old. It’s very hard, some if not all impossible to open the windows to get fresh air as they are single pane windows. The tub doesn’t drain after every use and has been noted and just seemed clogged and has been since move in, eventually drains just takes hours. The AC and Heat work great. It’s a great starter apartment and is of right now I plan to stay here the next few years.

As a first-time renter, Renew Centennial made the move in process very smooth. The maintenance staff is helpful and professional! I will say that the walls are thin so you do hear the neighbors, but it is tolerable. The office staff responds quickly, and I love the neighborhood feels!
