The place is so different with the current management - things repaired, the landscaping looks beautiful, and the maintenance people do a great job. It is a safe place and a quiet, lovely community.

All the neighbors friendly and quiet ! Staff friendly ! Maintenance came and assisted today and gave a wonderful experience! Very friendly and willing to help and assist further if needed! So far experience has been great !

I love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere provided at Renew Apartments. The grounds are well kept and I enjoy walking along the lake and seeing the beautiful ambience of nature! My apartment is like a retreat and I enjoy coming home to this quiet oasis. Thank you and keep up the great work Renew Apartments! The pool is great too!

Neighborhood is good but slow on communication and fixing things. When trying to reach out to someone to speak to there is never no one there to help

I love how quiet and peaceful it is and in a great area where I’m close to everything and and get to all my favorite stores and places with in seconds

From the maintenance people to the office workers they have always been very helpful with any issues or concerns. My lease will be up in August thinking about staying another year which will make my fifth a year.

Not very happy about the Utility (water and sewage) bill I have lived in these apartments for 5 years now. Love the location and convenience

Love the area. Well kept up on lawn care. maintace is ready and willing to fix problems within the units had a few problems but they were fixed in a timely mater.

I love it here every is so nice and chill, there’s never any noise or loud animals in my part and I love how there are so many things so close by

Feral cats roam freely. Trash is abundant and attracts racoons. Very small units with awkward floor plans. Heat and air conditioning are old and constantly breaking. Plumbing is horrid and constant issues cause leaks.

Moving in was a breeze, no hassle at all. Aside from some minor things the apartment was in great shape on the day of the move. Definitely recommend.

The staff is friendly, Q from maintenance is fast and communicates well, and the gym is always well maintained. We love living here and highly recommend these apartments.

The office is much help and very welcoming. I enjoy the quiet calm neighborhood for my son and I. It’s a huge plus to have a gym and pool! Love this community!

Been a resident for four years here , the staff and maintenance are very helpful and understanding . Any time I’ve had any maintenance problems they are always here to take care of them. The office staff are always very helpful.

It is a very quiet complex and kept up very well. The area is great and is very central to everything. They have a nice well kept dog park as well!

Very quiet neighborhood. Leasing agent Jaylin was very helpful and made our move in smooth. Had some maintenance issues but they were handled very quickly. So far so good.

It’s been a great transition. The staff are really helpful and make things so much smoother when renewing leases! Could not have asked for a better introduction to the community.

older apartments built in late 1980s. Remodels were done but very poorly with just the basics. Nothing outstanding-new appliances in kitchen but still a very old apartment. Very small dog yard. Decent fitness room. Expense utilities. Would not move here

So far so good no complaints. They worked with me on my move in date. Apartment very clean. Rental office was helpful in getting my washer and dryer

everything has been good. i would like to get a gym key eventually but i enjoy the area and the location of my apartment. close to lots of things

It's been great so far. The management team does an excellent job at caring for the residents. I would recommend anyone to reside at the ReNew community.

It could be better if the apartment features was more up to date. Better appliances. No carpet. Issues were fixed in timely manner by those whom are qualified to fix the problem.

Everyone has been very welcome and helpful. Bill has gone above and beyond to help me out during the whole move-in process. Couldn’t be happier with where I ended up

Friendly neighbours , the new company has made upgrades that have improved quality of life I especially like the pool renovation and has been opened for the first time since I’ve been here

No AC for over 2 months in the dead of summer, no hot water for 2 weeks, no sympathy or urgency from anyone in the front office when there was an attempted break in that broke my deadbolt. However maintenance staff is amazing for the most part. They checked in after the AC was fixed the first time by contractors unfortunately it was broken just a couple weeks later. No compensation given.

New 2023 Renovations are sloppy and disappointing. Many work tickets were needed to fix sinks. Fans. Fridge. Units were not turnkey. Management is responsive and on-site maintenance is hard working. Kitchens are refaced not new. Appliances are new. Bathroom is updated slightly but not new. Counter tops are coated but not replaced.

It's a nice environment Neighbors are nice. They keep up on lawn care love looking at the lake Maintenance was slow but they have improved. They have hired more people.

The changes and upgrades have been amazing - fresh paint, adding gutters and landscaping to above water overflow, and upkeep of the parking lots. The improvements are obvious and the property improvements reflect the desire to offer great apartment living.

Quiet area, very clean apartments. Nice pool area. Kid and pet friendly. My only complaint is the parking. Everyone gets an assigned spot, which is great, but other residents and their guests are constantly parking in my spot and there's no recourse for residents. After working a 10 hr day, this isn't what you want to come home to.

Here at Renew Chesapeake it was Overall great community . Nice pool . Awesome staff . Very welcoming neighbors just a few things that would need some adjusting to make it home

The area is really nice. Good neighbors and peaceful at night. There is a designated parking spot for every apt and visitor spots available.

Just moved in and everyone, including the community, are very welcoming! This is a very relaxing, clean, and safe environment. The office has been #1 in handling my maintenance requests and the thoroughness and efficiency in which they have been handled is so much APPRECIATED!!! Thank you!

We love live here at Renew Chesapeake...we have live here for 11.5 years...It has been a safe community..They are always striving to make it better all the time.. The neighbors are friendly...It's the type of community that neighbors stop and talk to each other....

It is honestly a beautiful community and I love the renovations!The pool has come out looking so gorgeous.The staff is very welcoming compared to before.

I am confused about many things I've lived here since 20/20 so it's great to see improvements the rent has increased about 500 dollars and everything inside my apartment is the same, the endless nosie due to construction keeps me up bc I work late a lot of nights. The upgrade is needed it has just taken a toll on my peace of mine. The office team is ever changing so I just don't feel very confident even trying to interact with anyone. I think once you all get fully established it will be great.

I love being a resident here, going on four years, new staff very helpful and understanding . So glad to have pool opened again. Very convenient location to many area stores .

Renew is trying to get things better in our community . Painting , gardening, cleaning , pool looking forward to the gym . Garbage pick up needs improvement and inside apartments need fixing .

Has rats in the winter going through everybody apartments , situation is not fixed and expects you to pay a pet fee when they have rodents running around, also the rent price is ridiculous!

Lovely grounds. Immediate care in time of emergency. Great apartment. Nice neighbors. Convivial atmosphere. Cool dogs on long walks. Pretty birds to watch. Lake with mallards and geese.

Great place to live, very quiet neighborhood and everyone looks out for each other. Buildings are old but seem to be well maintained and the complex is in the middle of everything that Greenbrier area has to offer which is nice.

The Complex isn't bad its fairly quiet. The pool hasn't been open for the few years Ive been here and wonder why but other than that no complaints.

It has gotten much better since new management has taken over. Any concerns we have are addressed fairly quick. My only issue would be that the apartment complex is in control of heating and cooling in term of switching your apartment to heat over the winter and switching back to the ac once it’s warm enough. I hardly used the heat all winter and even had my heat turned off for a while with windows open every night trying to stay cool while my apartment was extremely hot.

Very nice clean maintenance is ok front office is ok enjoy staying in the community. It's close to everything you need. They also have events for the residents. Husband loves the gym

I love my apartment. There’s a few things that could be fixed but overall I love it. For example my closet to my laundry room. I’ve asked multiple times for it to be fixed. No real communication there.

I have been living here for 5yrs and I have to say that since Renew has taken over our apartments I have had a lot better experience with the the people who work in the office than when it was under the previous people who were here. Ashley and I apologize for not knowing the other lady's name but I don't think I have met her yet but they are both so polite and helpful and it's like finally we have people who are here that are kind and know how to treat people. I have met both maintenance men and they are awesome as well. So if you are looking for someplace where you can feel safe and if you have children and you want to raise them in a place where they can feel safe playing outside I would highly recommend giving our community a try. I live in a area that is not only close to everywhere I could want to go as far as restaurants and shopping and medical ect.its centrally located to all of these places.

I moved in to this apartment in November 2019 and have had problems since day one. My AC unit has stopped working at least 4 times since I moved here because of how old it is. You think they would replace it after breaking so many times? Think again. I am paying too much for the square foot and quality of this apartment. Renovations were done cheaply and poorly. The breezeways are covered with spiders and webs from not being kept up. Some units, like mine, are right off the busy Oak Grove Road so be weary if you value your sleep. This apartment complex is overpriced and under maintained. Save your money and time!
