Doing good Good condition of units and grounds. One exception is someone has a large dog that they don’t pick up his droppings.
the maintenance team was fine. They replaced a damaged lavatory in my bathroom. The cleanup was excellent, They also installed a new faucet. Thats where the trouble is. The drainage stopper does not allow the water to drain properly or quicklyl I would like it replaced.
Outstanding Place to Live!!! I love the community, location, amenities, and everything about Re | New Chesterfield. Barbara and the entire management and maintenance team made my year here enjoyable and I highly recommend this community for anyone who is considering moving in!

Do not expect to rent here and be treated like a valuable tenant after your lease is signed! The office staff is combative and argumentative. Zero accountability is taken for issues on the property, ex: broken stairs being left for months in the walkways, outside vendors not cleaning up after themselves, carport roofs being cleaned off and all of the debris and garbage left in the grass. Requests for follow-ups via phone and email are not completed. Phone system puts you in a continuous loop without an actual personal interaction. The grounds of the property are in shambles from siding falling off the buildings, to windows leaking, to the irrigation system seeping and saturating the ground causing standing, stagnant water to draw mosquitos.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I started to move in and requested to leave 1 day after seeing the state of the apartment and due to major health risks in the apartment. The apartment was NOT cleaned before move-in, and mold was found in the bathroom. There was also rotting wood on every window sill that was painted over. There was a broken piece of wood from the stairs that maintenance knew about but refused to fix. There was also metal drywall screws in multiple electrical outlets, with no electrical boxes, causing a major safety risk. After my asthma had drastically worsened within 24 hours of living there (and many symptoms consistent with mold exposure), I requested to leave. The apartment complex had stated that the “the concerns presented to not constitute uninhabitability”. If a decline in health due to the state of the apartment is not reason enough, then I’m scared as to what the other tenants are going through. They attempted to offer me a different apartment that wasn’t cleaned either, and showed signs of the same damage. I no longer felt safe staying at this apartment complex and just wanted to leave. Looking on google, you can see that more than 1 apartment has black mold issues. The apartment complex is also attempting to charge me $5300 for breaking the lease. This is DOUBLE what was stated in the lease if needed to break it. Stay away from this place, they do not care about their tenants.
The overall layout of the rooms is great. There is a lot of kitchen storage in the 1 bedroom apartments which was nice. Maintenance responds very quickly. One thing I found troublesome was the lack of communication between the main office and me. Towards the end of my stay, I was trying to contact the main office to do a final walkthrough but there was no communication that the manager was leaving so I didn't get an email saying, "Hey I am going to be leaving but ___ will be taking my place and get back to you soon."

They will look for any way to charge you more than they need to. They will show you apartment models that are MUCH nicer than what you will actually get to live in. If you leave a poor review, they will call you until you change it or take it down. All of the finishes in the apartment are so poorly done and it feels like it was done with the cheapest paint/tools they could find. The toilet seats are wooden. The floors are uneven and very thin. The windows are not insulated properly, causing your electricity bill to always go up. The bathtub peels and has paint splatters on it from their sloppy paint job. The paint on the cabinets was so poorly done that there are hairs and other questionable looking things stuck under the paint. The cabinets are unfinished on the inside. When neighbors smoke, it would smell in our apartment to the point that we'd have to open windows. Office staff is very rude and condescending. They purposefully will not remind you of the 60 day notice, and will only remind you once it is too late so that they can make more money off of you and charge an entire month or 2 more of rent. I feel like a fool for believing their kindness when they were trying to sell us on renting from them, because their attitudes quickly changed once we signed. TLDR: Don't trust what they show you and tell you. They will take advantage of you as much as they can for their next dollar.

Management is very rude and will find new ways to charge you if they can. The quality of apartments is inexistent. They should be inspected. What they show and what you get are very different. Beware of this place and mamagement.

Recently, a theft happened outside my apartment. We had locked our kid's bicycle at the designated rack provided by ReNew Chesterfield team; however, the rear wheel of my kid's bicycle was removed and stolen. Not just the parking lots, but overall the entire area inside the property lacks adequate lighting and basic security features, like cameras. The structures are old and dilapidated. The response from the staff is also very unsatisfactory and unprofessional. The staff responded that they have inadequate lighting, most bulbs and street lights do not work and that they will change the bulbs.
Despite changed to new name as Renew Chesterfield, it seems that service quality remain pathetic. Simple light issue not taken care for 3 days and still counting.... Grass maintenance bis poor, no lights in parking area, zym machines are broken.
Make sure you look over the apartment very carefully. If a problem comes up they will not fix it and say you accept the condition of apartment when you move in.

If there are maintenance issues with the apartment we will have them taken care of as soon as possible. If the concerns are cosmetic I will do what I can within the guidelines of policies and fair housing to address.
We lived in Hunters Glen for almost 5 years, experienced bad service before we decided to move out. The window set was left broken without any attempt for repairing for 5 months even we requested several times. We did our best to clean the whole apartment including kitchen appliances and bath room but still received over $600 final charge. There's a small leakage from base of water tap we didn't call for repairing but was charged for water damage. On the contrary, we got full deposit back from previous apartment we lived three years with same effort of cleaning.

I lived in Hunters Glen for 3 years, it was an awesome place to live - great office staff and maintenance and a great location. They were always on top of lease renewals before they came due each year. The 2 bed 2 bath layout is perfect for roommates! I'd definitely recommend Hunters Glen!

I lived in a one-bedroom apartment at Hunters Glen for over two years, and it was a great experience. The management staff and maintenance crew are very friendly and efficient. It is a BEAUTIFUL complex. The rent is competitive with other apartments in the area, and the leasing cycle, from first contact to final walkthrough, is as smooth as can be. It's relatively quiet as apartments go. Access to it is very easy. And even the smaller units are very homey and do not feel cramped. Just about the only drawback is that the multiplicity of big windows, which are otherwise great for natural light, make it very cold in the winter. All in all, I enjoyed my years at Hunters Glen, and I highly recommend it, especially if you're planning on attending Maryville University, which is only a short drive down the highway.
