Property Ratings at ReNew Howard Crossing
I don't like my apartment! I live on the first floor. I have all the old stoves and dishwashers that do not work Ice marker in the fridge does not work Dirt has been thrown out in the back of my apartment. I like the community, it's quiet. I have been here for almost (4) four years. Sometimes your package is stolen, but not a lot. In the future by the grace of God, I like to make a transfer request. Thanks! Kind regards
Maintenance responds quickly, and the complex keeps everything organized and tidy. If I have a question, the staff answers it quickly. I have been here almost 25 years.
I have been here since last 8 months , now this community sold out to new owner and they are taking care of so many community issues which is great
it’s been okay nothing over the top to rave about there is room for a much updated appliances and the bathrooms sink and toilet are to short which there where overhead lights in the bedroom
I really like the community. Been here for 2 years and I enjoyed walking around. I feel safe, the community is clean. I am pleased with maintenance. However, this past year I have experienced issues with new residents moving in.
The experience has been a good one, calm and great environment. Quick response to call for repairs and maintenance. Only concern is the washer and dryers are old, they need to be upgraded.
The renew apartment is one of the best neighborhoods in Ellicott city and they are good and friendly, I will also recommend this apartment to my friends
It is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The community is well maintained with several nice amenities and activities.
Since the day I signed my lease it has not been the best experience. I would give it 1 star just for the apartment condition, and the maintenance experience(i don't know if there's a new crew now with the change) but because of certain people who I live next to and who work in the Leasing office before and now, I'll gave it 3 stars.
The staff is friendly. Maintenance requests have quick turn around. I had previous pest problems but they have been resolved. I feel like it is a quiet community.
My experience hasn't been good. Been in the middle floor is disadvantaged. So much noise coming above apartment. Flooring is terrible. Lot of creaky noise.
We have been very happy in the year we’ve lived here. Things get resolved in a timely manner, everyone’s very kind, and the neighborhood is great!
Everything is very good, the place to live is very safe, its neighbors are very friendly and it is a very nice place, its parks to enjoy with the family are very nice, the staff are also very kind and hard-working people, everything is excellent.
Always prompt with needs. Mice take a few treatments to address. Would like to have the ability to reserve part of the clubhouse for small gatherings outside of business hours.
I’ve been living at Renew Apartments for the past year, and I’m pleased to share my positive experience. The apartment complex is well-maintained, and the management team has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance. The location is ideal, with easy access to [mention nearby amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, parks, or public transport], which has made daily life convenient. The amenities, such as [specific features like the gym, pool, or community spaces are a great bonus and always well-kept.
I have been living here for such a long time anf I never had any problems with anything. This is nice community especially if you have kids. I feel safe here! Everyone is so friendly here.
This apartment feels like home! The spacious layout and natural light make it so inviting. The location is perfect—close to everything I need, yet still quiet and peaceful.
My rent is extremely expensive with no new upgrades. Every appliance is old and outdated in my apartment. The maintenance staff is excellent. Whenever you have an issue in your apartment, maintenance is there asap! The rental office staff is very pleasant and helpful. The office manager Ms. Jean is excellent.
Staff is friendly, informative, and always strive to be as helpful as possible. Whenever I submit service requests, they are always handled rapidly and professionally. Though I personally don't have the time to engage in community activities, there are always things happening in and around the complex available to and for all residents. Lovely place to live.
Me and leasing had a rough start understanding what I needed out of my space, but it’s smooth sailing for now! My apartment is beautiful and I’m happy to live here
Uretra experiencia ha sido muy buena para mi esposa mi hija y yo. Llevamos a penas un año y venimos de Colombia y estamos muy contentos de vivir en este lugar.
Since the name change, the grounds have been more handicap accessible. For instance, the bushes have been trimmed so the railings can be used. Now they just need to be cleaned of the bird poop. Maintenance has been great. They went above and beyond in helping me, though next time it would be nice if they cleaned up after themselves a little better. That's why I rated you'll as a four. Tremendous improvement has been done and there is always room for more,
My resident experience has been good so far there are easy to work with your situation. Never had a problem with them since the 9 years I have been here.
The move in process was a bit of a headache. They had switched my unit around 3 times. Once I settled for an apartment, really no complaints after that. I just wish my appliances were newer. I will recommend this complex to others because it's located in Howard County.
Been dealing with roaches for over a year. Complex says they’re treating but technicians rarely come when scheduled. The apartments are old & falling apart. Leasing office is less than helpful. Maintenance enters apartments without notice & has stolen food while there.
I've been here since 2020 and for the most part, it has been a pleasurable experience. Maintenance requests are taken care of promptly. The building is cleaned regularly. All of my appliances work as they should. No rodents or bugs. It's the 1st apartment complex I've lived in that gave out food, gift cards, etc. I haven't had any problems that made me want to vacate.
After taking off work and driving nearly two hours to view this apartment, the leasing specialist who scheduled my tour was not there when I arrived. I was told to come on this day and not the day I requested, so that they would be there. After waiting 15 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment, I was told by a different consultant that I could not view the apartment because my phone camera was not working and I could not scan their QR code to verify my ID. This was not mentioned in my phone call or in the verification email for the appointment. After driving home, I was told in a follow up email that I could come back later that day and given a link to the QR code. Driving back in the timeframe they provided was not possible, and they knew that, because I told them how far away I lived. Hopefully you read this before you go, but it's probably best to avoid this place if that is how they treat potential tenants.
Son unos excelentes apartamentos para vivir ReNew howard crosing. Muy buen mantenimiento. Buena comunicación con los encargados de la oficina
It’s amazing as things are happening in a great manner so far. Staff and maintenance teams are efficient . It’s a wide, neat and clean living which inspires you to do great things at home and outside.
The apartment community is wonderful and has exceeded our expectations. The layout and design are modern, and the space is well-utilized, making it feel both comfortable and inviting. The amenities are well-maintained and accessible, adding convenience and a touch of luxury to everyday living. The management team is responsive and helpful, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. The location is also ideal, providing easy access to shopping, dining, and transportation options. Overall, we’re very happy here and would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live.
Loud neighbors, trashy community. There is always garbage and dog droppings everywhere, people use the bushes as a dump, the ground is constantly littered. Neighbors banging and stomping, building creaks and stray cats everywhere, causing disruptions when walking dogs.
I have been living here since April. The complex is clean and well maintained. The leasing office is great! My neighbors are quiet and clean as well. The amenities are a great addition. I have only had a positive experience so far.
Nice , quite, good neighbors but currently the lease issues and solving them took a week and some are not resolved yet. Not all the front office employees are trained to handle all the problems. It is not residents problems if there are computer issues but the transition should be smoother , in my opinion.
The customer service needs to improve EX: I f a resident call or email we should be able to get a response in a timely manner. Our time is important just y’all time is important. When y’all employees come to do a repair sometime they do a lazy job and we pay our rent .
I was having some problems with my bathroom and they attended to my issue promptly and resolved it quickly. The maintenance person was courteous and professional like in his work.
Maintenance has a quick turn around time, pool seems a little small for the size of the complex but overall staff is alright, sometimes my emails gets answered sometimes they don’t .
Since moving in I've had both good and bad experiences. The buildings are old, so I've had to deal with leaks and mold. Being on the bottom floor my unit floods pretty often when it rains heavily. The heat and air conditioning are very loud (and it hasn't always been like that, so maybe my unit is just in need of an upgrade) Also, my dryer caught on fire from lint build-up in the chute. (I'm not sure when/if they are regularly cleaned out?) Most of these issues have been taken care of by maintenance promptly and they are always very kind. Requesting maintenance is streamlined and easy. The pool is nice but I wish it opened before noon on weekends at least, 10 am would be perfect. I wish my building had a code to enter for safety reasons.
Amazing staff who cares about their residents. Very quick response time with repairs around the apartment, community and individual maintenance requests.
Living here as been such a blessing. I have met good neighbors, and the new changes have gone for better. Keep up the good work everyone. It’s has been a good change.
It's been fine since I have been here. Pool is nice, the people at the leasing office were nice when I moved in. Neighbors are nice. Dog park and all the other amenities are a plus.
its a good neighborhood, ample amount of trees, walk ways to run, near by groceries store, daycare. but it is an old apartment. but looks spacious
Great place to stay and a nice quiet community. Hopefully the takeover fixes its hiccups with the rent but besides that everything else is great. Community stays clean and enough parking spots for everyone.
I have been here for several years. The grounds are beautiful. I like my apartment. My neighbors have been great. I have been able to get things repaired immediately. I have no complaints.
Excellent apartment to live in. Leasing office is very helpful with anything you request. I would and have recommended multiple family to live here.
The customer service is great whenever there is an issue, or even when you need an answer to a simple question. The common grounds are nice; they are clean, and the dumpsters are emptied on a regular basis.
I like the community around, nature and cleanliness. At the New Howard Crossing, they are working very hard to improve thing around. I wish I had newer utilities, even they are all in good working condition. Bugs are the biggest problem in general in the apartments, and unfortunately no matter how often they do the pest treatment, it's hard to get rid of.
I like the well-kept garden and the location is perfect. The paint job on the apartment that was done before I moved in was pretty bad and there are some small cockroaches that are often found despite the pest control. But I recommend it. I really enjoy living here.
It’s been great! Very family oriented something that I really like because it makes me feel safe! The new management is doing a great job! Love seeing al the renovations they are doing.
Excellent place!!! Whenever necessary, my family and I were very well looked after and served by the condominium staff. Mainly the maintenance team, always quick and efficient in assisting us.
I feel really safe and comfortable living here , as compared to living somewhere else. Nice and clean environment, maintainenc requests completely on time
